본 연구의 목적은 대학도서관 웹사이트의 효율적인 이용을 위하여 웹사이트 메뉴구조와 용어를 제안하는데 있다. 메뉴구조는 7가지의 웹사이트 메뉴패턴을 기준으로 분석하였고, 용어는 빈도순에 의한 항목을 분석하였다. 메뉴구조의 분석결과는 전반적으로 2가지 이상의 메뉴구조를 혼합하여 사용하고 있었고, 구조패턴은 <테이블>과 <프레임 + 테이블> 메뉴패턴이 유리한 것으로 나타났다. 메뉴에 사용된 용어는 다양하게 나타나고 있어서 체계적인 재분류와 절제된 표현이 요구된다. 본 연구의 결과는 도서관 웹사이트 제작자와 일선 사서들의 메뉴구조와 용어선정 문제에 도움을 주고, 이용자에게 도서관이 제공하는 서비스의 개념적 혼동과 이해부족 문제를 해소할 것으로 기대 된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to propose new menu structure and terms to be used by Website design for utilization of academic library Website. The menu structure was analyzed, based on seven menu patterns of Website which is widely used, and terms were analyzed by the frequency appearing at the Website. According to the analyzed result, the menu structure used to more than two menu patterns and the terms appear variety. The profitable menu pattern appears 〈table〉 and 〈frame + table〉 menu structures and the terms needs to systematic re-classification and controlled presentation. It is expected that this study can help a designer to the development and implementation of efficient Website. It helps not only to solve the problem of menu structure and term selection for librarian, but get rid of confusion of library services for users.

본 연구에서는 효율적인 정보접근 도구로서의 대학 웹사이트 설계를 위한 정보구조 및 카테고리 레이블을 마련하기 위해 현재 미국 문헌정보학과 웹사이트 17개를 메인메뉴구조, 하부 카테고리, 레이블링을 기준으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 메인메뉴구조는 현재 17개 조사대상 웹사이트에서 모두 공통으로 제공하고 있는 9개 카테고리로 구성하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 나타났으며 둘째, 그 다음 수준의 서브 카테고리는 9개의 카테고리의 내용의 의미를 고려해서 35개 카테고리로 나누는 것이 바람직한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 카테고리 레이블로 사용되는 용어는 17개 웹사이트에서 가장 많이 사용하고 있는 용어를 사용하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
In this study we proposed a new informational structure and category labels to fully support the functions of school websites as an access tool to its contents. The proposed model was divided into three main aspects. First, main menu structure was the primary guideline to access information embedded in a website. Therefore, The proposed main menu structure consisted of 9 categories that are commonly provided by 17 existing school websites. Second, first-level categories consisted of total 35 categories under 9 main menu categories. Each category was placed under certain categories in main menu based on the relationships with the meaning of the upper level categories. Third, the proposed model adopted general and comprehensive terms as category labels. The terms used as category labels were based on the analysis of existing category labels, and the most frequently used terms were selected from the current school websites.

본 연구에서는 인터넷 카페와 홈페이지의 어문저작물 불법 전송 실태를 조사분석하였고, 이를 바탕으로 저작권자의 권리를 보호할 방안을 모색하는데 목적을 두었다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 구체적인 연구 내용은 각 사이트별로 어문저작물 불법 복제 및 불법 전송이 이루어질 수 있는 개연성을 지닌 카페나 홈페이지의 메뉴들을 조사하였고, 전체 자료수, 어문저작물 자료수, 최고조회수, 평균조회수를 파악한 후, 어문저작물의 유형을 시, 소설, 기타 등으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 이러한 분석 결과, 정부나 저작권 관련 기관이 이를 법제화하여 통제를 하는 경우에 국내 어문저작물에 대한 순기능적인 인식의 확산을 저해할 요소가 있다. 하지만, 카페 및 홈페이지 운영자와 여기에 올리는 이용자 모두가 저작권에 대한 인식이 거의 없는 상황이므로 법제화 이전에 국민 계도 차원에서 단계별 교육 및 대국민 홍보를 강화할 필요성이 있다. 즉, 각각의 포털서비스 사업자가 사이트별 카페 및 홈페이지 운영자 및 이용자에 대한 저작권 관련 교육 및 시스템적 지원을 강화할 수 있는 방안을 강구해야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the current state of illegal distribution of literary works on internet cafes and homepages, and figure out how to protect the rights of copyright holders. For this study, examined were the cafes and menus of homepages of major Websites on the Internet, where illegal copying and delivery of literary works could happen. For each Website, the volumes of the entire collection, the number of literary works held, the maximum and average number of transactions were investigated, and literary works categorized according to genres were analyzed. The result shows that the strict legislation and regulation by government or copyright organizations could hinder the positive distribution of awareness about the copyright; but, still strongly needed is the promotion and education of the importance of copyright to help the public understand better. Providers of portal services should take a proper step to strengthen the training of and systematic support for copyright-related issues for both operators and users of cafes and homepages on Websites.

본 연구의 목적은 이용자에게 효율적인 도서관 및 정보이용안내를 제공하는데 있다 본 연구의 목적달성을 위하여, 도서관 FAQ의 구조적 특성과 질의내용을 분석하여 효과적인 FAQ의 접근단계와 환경변화에 따른 안내항목을 제안하였다. 또한 도서관이용법과 관련된 도서내용과 FAQ질의 내용을 비교 분석하여 새로이 추가되거나 강화되어야 할 내용을 제안하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 도서관 이용에 관한 FAQ의 작성과 관련하여 포함되어야 할 사항의 결정은 물론 도서관 정보이용 교재개발 등의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide library users with the effective way of use on academic library and its collection. In order to achieve this purpose the menu structure and question contents appearing at the FAQs of academic library Website were analyzed. And also, guidelines for effective use of a university library via FAQ at different access stages were proposed. It is expected that the result of this study can help both a Web designer to the development and implementation of efficient library FAQs and a creator of a library use guidebook.
