오늘날 초고속통신망의 구축과 인터넷의 확산으로 인한 정보화의 급격한 진행은 국회도서관의 의회정보서비스에도 많은 변화를 초래하였다. 같은 맥락에서 의회정보서비스도 이용자들의 정보요구와 변화에 부응하여 이용자들이 만족하는 정보서비스를 제공하여야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 우리나라 국회도서관 의회정보서비스 이용자 만족도를 제고시키기 위한 방안을 고찰하고 이용자가 만족하는 도서관 서비스 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 국회에 소속되어 있는 국회의원 및 보좌진을 대상으로 국회도서관 의회정보서비스에 대한 이용자들의 만족도 조사를 실시하였으며, 설문조사를 바탕으로 의회정보서비스 의견을 수렴하고 이를 분석․반영하여 이용, 홍보, 만족도 등 국회도서관 의회정보서비스의 개선 방향을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The construction of an information super highway and diffusion of the internet brings about a lot of changes in the Legislative Information Services of the National Assembly Library. In the same vein, Legislative Information Services should provide information services which satisfy users according to their information needs and the changes. In light of that, this study aims at enhancing users' satisfaction and suggesting information services for the Legislative Information Services of the National Assembly Library. Accordingly, this study surveys assemblymen and their assistants of satisfaction in Legislative Information Services and suggests some recommendations for improvement based on the survey results.

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 오픈액세스서비스에 대한 이용자의 만족도를 분석하여 향후 오픈액세스 활동의 활성화 및 발전방안 수립을 위한 전략과제를 도출하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 오픈액세스코리아 서비스의 이용자를 대상으로 만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 서비스별 품질을 나타내는 이용자의 만족도 지표는 해당 서비스에 대해 이용자들이 지각하는 품질을 측정할 수 있도록 설계하였으며, 품질지수, 만족지수, 성과지수로 구성되었다. 분석결과 사회적 품질, 사회적 만족 등의 항목은 상대적으로 높게 산출되어 국내 연구자들의 오픈액세스서비스에 대한 사회적 기여도 및 공익성 측면에서의 긍정적인 평가와 기대를 확인하였다. 반면, 서비스 과정품질 항목은 상대적으로 낮은 만족도를 보여주었으며 국내 오픈액세스 콘텐츠의 부족에 대한 의견이 다수 도출되어 국가 차원의 전략수립 시 콘텐츠 개발 및 확보 전략에 대한 고려가 중요함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 오픈액세스에 대한 정책적 지원, 오픈액세스 저널 출판 및 리포지터리 운영, 거버넌스체제 구축 및 오픈액세스 홍보활동을 통한 연구자들의 참여 유도, 글로벌 공조체제 구축 등이 전략과제로 제시되었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze service quality factors that affect user satisfaction of Open Access Korea(OAK) services and to draw strategic assignments for activating open access activities in Korea through a user satisfaction survey. User satisfaction indexes were developed to measure all aspects of the OAK services. The quality index, satisfaction index, and performance index were identified in this survey. According to the survey findings, the levels of social quality and social satisfaction are relatively high, this shows the positive evaluation and expectation of researchers for OAK services. However, relatively low level is identified in the area of service process quality, and many opinions about OA contents shortage in Korea represent the importance of the national level contents development strategy. Sustainable policy support, publishing of open access journals, management of institutional repository, OA governance system, expansion of researchers' participation, construction of global collaboration system are suggested as major implications to promote open access activities in Korea.

불리언 검색만을 제공하는 정보시스템들은 순위화된 검색 결과를 제공하지 않아 이용자들이 많은 시간을 들여 수많은 결과를 일일이 확인해야하는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 불리언 검색 모델의 단점을 극복하기 위한 방법으로써 불리언 검색에서 적용되고 있는 색인 가중치 정보 대신에 태그 간의 결합 관계 정보를 이용하여 순위화된 검색 결과를 제공하기 위한 시스템을 제안한다. 본 연구에서 제안하고 있는 방법은 일반적인 키워드 질의 대신에 문서를 질의로 사용하기 때문에 해당 문서에서 질의로 사용하는 핵심태그를 추출한다. 질의 생성 과정에서는 태그결합도에 따라 다양한 그룹의 불리언 질의를 생성하고, 매칭 과정에서는 해당 질의어 그룹 간에 차별성 정보와 태그 중요도 정보를 이용하여 순위화를 처리한다. 본 연구에서 제안하고 있는 방법의 유용성을 평가하기 위하여 선정된 연구정보와 관련된 동향분석정보를 추출하는 과정에 적용하여 실험을 수행하였다. 또한 제안된 방법에 대한 이용자 평가를 위하여 다수의 이용자들을 대상으로 약 1년간 서비스를 제공하였으며 그 결과 높은 이용자 만족도를 확보할 수 있다고 조사되었다.
Abstract
Since IR systems which adopt only Boolean IR model can not provide ranked search result, users have to conduct time-consuming checking process for huge result sets one by one. This study proposes a method to provide search results ranked by using coupling information between tags instead of index weight information in Boolean IR model. Because document queries are used instead of general user queries in the proposed method, key tags used as queries in a relevant document are extracted. A variety of groups of Boolean queries based on tag couplings are created in the process of extracting queries. Ranked search result can be extracted through the process of matching conducted with differential information among the query groups and tag significance information. To prove the usability of the proposed method, the experiment was conducted to find research trend analysis information on selected research information. Aslo, the service based on the proposed methods was provided to get user feedback for a year. The result showed high user satisfaction.

의료기술과 생활환경의 발달로 인해 급속하게 노령화 사회가 진행되면서 노년의 삶에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 32명의 노령이용자와의 심층면접을 통하여 정보요구와 이용행태를 파악하고 정보 접근 경로 및 온라인 커뮤니케이션 방식에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 면담내용 분석 결과 노령이용자들이 주로 정보를 찾고자 하는 주제들은 건강과 뉴스, 여가 및 취미 생활로 조사되었고, 주로 이용하는 매체는 TV, 라디오, 인터넷, 가족 및 친지, 그리고 신문 등이었으며, 온라인 커뮤니티, 블로그, 소셜 네트워크 사이트와 같은 소셜 컴퓨팅 서비스는 현재 노령이용자층의 이용률은 낮지만 가족 및 사회 구성원과의 접촉 및 커뮤니케이션 기회를 확대함으로써 삶에 대한 만족감과 정신적 행복감을 증가시킬 수 있는 효과가 있을 것으로 인지하고 있는 것으로 파악되었다.
Abstract
The population aging occurs rapidly due to the advancement of the medical technology and living conditions and this led increased interests in how the elderly manages their lives. This study attempted to understand the information needs and behavior of the elderly users as well as to find about their information access and online communications. Based on the analysis of the interviews with thirty-two elderly users, they mainly looked for information on the topics such as health, news, leisure, and hobby. In addition, they primarily used television, radio, Internet, family members, relatives, and newspaper to obtain information. Their current use of social computing services including online communities, blogs, social network sites were low. However, the elderly users were aware of the social computing services’ effectiveness in increasing the satisfaction and happiness of their lives by expanding the opportunities for them to communicate with family members and other social members.

최근 디지털 기록관리 패러다임 속에서 중추적 역할을 수행하는 대학기록관 웹사이트는 대학기록을 찾고 활용하는 이용자들에게 더욱 더 중요하게 간주되고 있다. 본 연구는 대학기록관 웹사이트가 질적 향상을 이루기 위해서는 다각적 평가와 분석이 필요하다고 보고 국내 9개의 대학기록관을 선정한 후, 이들에 대하여 웹사이트 구성 내용분석, 웹사이트가 지닌 기능적 유용성, 사용성 및 정보품질에 대한 이용자 만족도, 그리고 웹표준 준수여부 등 다섯 가지의 각도에서 메타 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과를 토대로 제시된 대학기록관 웹사이트의 개선방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기록정보의 이용을 보다 활성화하기 위해서는 대학기록관의 소개 및 대학기록 활용성에 대한 홍보와 웹사이트에서의 이용자간의 커뮤니케이션을 높일 수 있는 방안을 모색해야 한다. 둘째, 웹사이트의 콘텐츠 빈약함은 이용자의 이용도를 떨어뜨리므로 체계적인 대학기록의 수집과 함께 디지털화하는 작업에 집중적인 노력이 필요하다. 셋째, 가장 불만족스럽게 나타난 ‘검색 기능’을 보완하기 위해서는 이용자 중심의 검색인터페이스를 개발이 필요하다. 넷째, 이용자의 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인이 웹사이트에 대한 ‘호감도’이므로 이 점을 고려하여 대학기록관 웹사이트를 디자인해야 할 것이다. 마지막으로 웹사이트는 웹표준을 준수하여 보편적 웹접근성을 높여야 할 것이다.
Abstract
Recently, the website of university archives is becoming greatly significant to users who retrieve and utilize university archives and records. This study aims to meta-analyze university archives in Korea in terms of usefulness, usability, information quality, and web accessibility in order to improve the functionality and usefulness of university archives websites. The result of the study suggests that university archives should increase the number of the digital records and to develop communication chanels, such as blog, chatting room, digital reference services for activating use of university records. Secondly, university archives make efforts to develop systematic collecting and managing procedures and to build relevant digital collections. Thirdly, the websites of university archives develops more user-friendly interfaces and web design to improve user satisfaction. Finally, the websties of university archives should follow the standards on web accessibility.

본 연구의 목적은 이용자의 인지적 특성 중 하나인 성격 유형과 OPAC 탐색 과정에서 나타나는 이용자의 정보 탐색 성향 및 만족도의 관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 실험대상자들을 대상으로 KEPTI 에니어그램 검사를 통해 성격 유형을 파악하였고, 데이터는 실험-전 질문지, 태스크A 질문지, 태스크B 질문지, 그리고 실험-후 질문지로 수집되었다. 분석결과, 에니어그램의 힘의 중심에 의한 집단 간에는 탐색의 용이성, 탐색시간, 탐색시간의 충분성, 탐색결과의 유용성, 탐색과정의 쉬움에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났고 호니비언 집단 간에는 질의에 대한 친숙성과 흥미에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다.
Abstract
This study examined the relation between personality types and users' searching trait and satisfaction when interacting with OPAC system. In this study, personality type was measured by the KEPTI Enneagram tools. Data was collected through four questionnaires, pre-test, TaskA, TaskB, and post-test survey. The results indicated that there was a statistically significant difference in perceptions on the expected ease of search, completion time, adequacy of search time, usefulness of search results, and performed ease of search within the Three Triads of Enneagram. Also a statistically significant difference was found on familiarity and interest in the selected queries within the Hornivian group.

본 연구의 목적은 사서교사의 특성 변인에 따른 조직 커뮤니케이션 만족도가 학교도서관의 정보․교육서비스에 끼치는 영향을 분석하고 학교도서관의 교육적 역할 활성화에 주는 시사점을 도출하는데 있다. 분석 결과 사서교사는 업무수행에서 상사 및 동료와의 대화와 면담 등 비공식적 커뮤니케이션과 수평적 커뮤니케이션을 선호하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 성별, 경력, 학교 급 등 사서교사의 특성 변인에 따라서 이용자 교육, 도서관활용수업, 독서교육 프로그램 및 정보활용교육 운영 방식 등에 차이가 나타났다. 특히 비공식 커뮤니케이션에 대한 만족도가 높을수록 교과연계도서목록 제공이 증가하고 있으며, 수평적 커뮤니케이션이 정보활용교육을 활성화하는데 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 학교도서관 운영과 관련된 공동체 구성원에게 학교도서관의 비전과 목적을 알리고 책임과 역할을 분명히 하기 위해서는 수평적 커뮤니케이션 수단인 협조문, 위원회, 협의회 등을 활성화하고 적극적으로 참여하여야 한다. 또한 비공식 커뮤니케이션의 한계를 극복하기 위해서는 사서교사의 리더십 개발, 동료교사에 대한 맞춤형 서비스 제공을 위한 마케팅 전략 수립 등의 노력이 필요하다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of organizational communication satisfaction of teacher librarians on the informational and educational service and to draw implications for improvement of the school libraries' educational role. According to the results of the analysis, teacher librarians have preferred informal communication by conversation and face-to-face talk with superiors or co-workers and horizontal communication during their performance. Characteristics of teacher librarians, such as career, gender and school levels, have influential effect on user education, library- assisted instruction, reading and information literacy instruction. The more teacher librarians felt satisfaction of the informal communication, the more textbook-related reference lists are offered. Horizontal communication have a positive influence on information literacy instruction. However, teacher librarians should utilize cooperative statements, committees and councils and actively participate in those horizontal communication methods to share the vision and aims of school libraries with the larger school community. Teacher librarians also should put more efforts into developing their leadership role and marketing strategies in order to overcome the weaknesses of informal communication.
