본 연구는 대학구성원의 연구데이터 관리 및 공유에 대한 인식과 경험을 파악하고, 대학구성원을 위한 효과적인 연구데이터 관리 방안을 마련하기 위해서 고려해야 할 주요 사항들을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 문헌조사를 바탕으로 연구데이터 관리 및 공유의 주요 쟁점을 정리하였고, 이를 바탕으로 대학구성원을 대상으로 연구데이터 관리․공유에 대한 인식 및 경험을 묻는 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사로부터 얻어낸 결과를 종합하여 연구데이터에 대한 인식, 연구데이터 관리에 대한 인식 및 경험, 연구데이터 공유․공개에 대한 인식 및 경험 측면의 시사점을 정리하였다. 본 연구는 장기적으로 수행되어야 할 연구데이터 관리 정책 및 서비스 개발 연구의 초석을 다졌다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
Abstract
The study aims to understand university constituents’ perceptions and experiences of research data management and sharing then explore the critical factors for establishing effective research data management plans. The literature review enabled summarization of the significant issues regarding research data management and sharing. In addition, the follow-up survey revealed the university constituents’ perceptions and experiences about research data management and sharing. This study has significance because it laid the foundation for long-term research data management policies and services development.

대학도서관 발전계획은 외부적으로는 도서관의 역할과 발전 방향에 대한 명시적인 선언이자 내부적으로는 도서관 서비스 제공을 위한 지침으로 기능한다는 점에서 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 발전계획 수립을 위해서는 국제적, 국가적 환경에 대한 이해, 개별 대학과 대학구성원에 대한 이해가 요구된다. 본 연구는 대학도서관과 관련된 국제 환경의 추세를 파악하기 위하여 해외 대학도서관 발전계획 사례를 조사하고, 내용분석과 네트워크 분석을 통해 그 동향을 파악하였다. 그 결과, 대부분의 해외 대학도서관에서는 ‘협업’, ‘컬렉션 개발 및 구축’, ‘연구지원’이라는 키워드를 주축으로 다양한 전략과 세부 계획을 제시하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구에서는 향후 대학도서관 발전계획 수립 시 고려해야 하는 사항으로, 발전계획 내 대학도서관의 사명과 비전, 가치의 구체적 명시, 문화적 다양성성과 형평성, 포용성 등의 핵심가치의 중요성 인식, 대학도서관 내외부의 파트너십 및 협업의 중요성 인식, 경영 목적 달성의 도구로서 대학도서관 발전계획의 활용을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The academic library development plan has external importance as it explicitly declares the library’s role and development direction. Internally, it is also a library service guideline. To develop the development plan, libraries must understand the trends and needs of international, national, and affiliating universities and their constituents. Accordingly, this research includes case, content, and network analyses of foreign academic libraries’ development plans to identify the trends. The analysis results show most foreign academic libraries employed various strategies and plans, which can be characterized as ‘collaboration,’ ‘collection development,’ and ‘research support.’ Consequently, we propose the following factors to consider when developing an academic library development plan: specification of mission, vision, and core values; recognition of core values such as diversity, equity, and inclusion; awareness of the significance of collaboration and partnership with other units within the universities and external organizations; and utilization of university library development plans as tools for achieving management objectives.

전문대학은 4년제 대학과 더불어 주요한 고등인력 양성기관임과 동시에 수적으로도 막중한 비중을 차지하고 있음에도 불구하고 도서관발전 종합계획에는 전문대학도서관만의 열악한 특성을 고려하지 않고 전체 대학도서관을 활성화할 수 있는 방안들만이 제시되고 있어서 전문대학도서관은 여전히 소외되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 전문대학도서관들의 현황을 문헌조사를 통해 조사하여 전문대학도서관의 문제점을 도출하고 이를 기반으로 국가차원에서 지원해 주어야 할 정책을 6가지로 나누어 제안하고 있다. 즉, 전문대학 특성에 따른 장서개발, 전문대학 특성화에 따른 주제전문 도서관 구축, 전문대학도서관간 상호협력 강화, 전문대학도서관 서비스 강화, 전문대학도서관 법적 개선 및 평가지표 개발, 수요조사 연구 및 서비스 품질 평가 등이다.
Abstract
Community colleges are key constituents of higher education in Korea, along with four-year universities. The number of community colleges in Korea also holds significance. However, the main focus of the Master Plan for Library Development decisively lies in university libraries, with little consideration to the poor condition of community college libraries. This study aims to identify problems of community college libraries by conducting a document research on their current standing and, based on that, to present six policy proposals for government support. They are a) to develop library collections based on the school specialty, b) to build theme-oriented libraries, c) to facilitate cooperation between community college libraries, d) to reinforce capacities for library service, e) to improve legal status of community college libraries and develop an evaluation index, f) and to estimate demand and evaluate service quality.
