본 연구의 목적은 사회심리학 이론을 토대로 지역정보 시스템 이용모형을 개발함으로써, 지역주민을 위한 정보통신서비스의 이용을 효과적으로 설명하는데 있다. 본 연구를 위해 필자는 Ajzen의 계획적 행위 이론(Theory of Planned Behavior: TPB)을 기본모형으로 선택하였는데, 이 이론은 (1) 지역정보 서비스 이용 결과에 대한 기대, (2) 주변 사람들의 권유, (3) 이용을 가능하게 하는 내외적 요인에 대한 자신의 통제 능력의 지각 등을 기본 골격으로 한다. 계획적 행위 이론은 일반적인 사회행동의 설명에 적용되어온 사회심리 이론이므로 필자는 지역정보 시스템 이용의 행동적 특성을 연구 모형에 반영하기 위하여 두 이론 즉, 인터넷 등 매체 이용을 설명하기 위하여 널리 적용되어온 이용과 충족이론(Uses and gratifications)과 경영정보시스템 이용을 설명하기 위하여 적용되어 온 기술수용모형(Technology Acceptance Model: TAM)을 추가적으로 검토했다. 417명의 지역정보망 시스템 이용자로 부터 수집된 실증자료를 토대로 구조방정식모형(Structural Equation Model: SEM)을 이용하여 제안된 지역정보 시스템 이용모형을 검증한 후 향상된 수정 모형을 제안했다. 그 결과, 지역정보 시스템 이용에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인들로 지역정보를 이용하고자 하는 의도, 태도, 주관적 규범, 정보습득에 대한 기대, 사회적 상호작용에 대한 기대, 지역 연계에 대한 기대, 및 개인관련 규범 신념 등을 밝혀 냈다. 이러한 결과를 중심으로 본 연구의 함의와 후속 연구과제가 결론에서 논의되었다.
Abstract
This study proposed a theoretical framework that could explain the service use of a community informatics. The proposed community informatics use model was developed based on three theoretical models: (1) Ajzen's Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) from social psychology; (2) Uses and gratifications approaches from media use research; and (3) Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) from information technology use research. The proposed model consists of three basic components: expectations of the outcomes from use, approvals from important others, and perceivied controllability over using the service. The initially proposed model was assessed using structural equation modeling, and then re-sepcified in order to propose a better fitting model. The initially proposed and revised community informatics use models were discussed with their theoretical and practical implications.

전자의무기록 공유를 추진하기 위해서는 사람들의 인식을 이해할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 합리적 행동 이론과 프라이버시 계산 모형에 기반하여 전자의무기록 공유에 영향을 미치는 요인을 검증하였다. 또한 직업과 개인 병력 등 인구통계학적 특성에 따라 공유 의도가 달라지는지에 대해서 알아보았다. 145명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시한 결과, 이타적 즐거움과 개인정보 보호 인식, 법․제도적 역할 인식 및 건강에 관한 관심 정도가 전자의무기록 공유 의도에 긍정적 영향을 미치고 있었으며 의료기관에 대한 신뢰가 법․제도적 역할 인식과 공유 의도 간의 관계를 긍정적으로 조절하였다. 이에 사람들이 공유 과정에 의료기관뿐만 아니라 정부의 역할도 중요하게 인식하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 전자의무기록 공유에 대한 사람들의 참여와 수용을 촉진하기 위해서는 공유로 인한 공익적 혜택을 강조해야 할 것이며 법적으로 개인정보의 보안과 올바른 활용을 보장하는 가이드라인을 마련하는 것이 필요하다는 점을 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study examined the factors affecting the intention of the public to share electronic medical records(EMR) based on the theory of reasoned action and the privacy calculus model. It also investigated whether the purpose of EMR sharing varies depending on personal characteristics, such as the degree of interest in health and personal medical history. According to an online survey of 145 people, altruistic enjoyment, awareness of personal information protection, recognition of legal and institutional roles, and interest in health had a positive impact on the level of EMR sharing, and trust in hospitals positively adjusted the relationship between recognition of legal and institutional roles and sharing intentions. Accordingly, we confirmed that the public recognized the role of the government and hospitals in the sharing process as necessary. The public interest benefits of sharing are critical to activating public participation in the sharing of EMR, and it is also essential to prepare guidelines that legally guarantee the security and proper use of EMR.
