학교도서관이 학교에서 핵심적인 교육요소로서 제 역할을 다하기 위해서는 교사의 학교도서관의 역할에 대한 적절한 인식이 필요하다. 그러나 지금까지 학교도서관에서 교사인식은 외부 환경 요인으로 간주되어 왔다. 이에 본 연구는 교사의 학교도서관 인식이 학교도서관 요인에 의해 형성되었음을 전제로 하고, 그 요소들을 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 초등학교 교사를 대상으로 조사한 설문 데이터를 통계적으로 분석하여 학교도서관과 교사인식 간의 관계를 검증하였다. 그 결과, 교사의 학교도서관에 대한 일반적인 인식은 비교과교육적이고, 이는 학교도서관의 활동에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났으며, 따라서 학교도서관이 통제 가능한 요소로 판단되었다. 본 연구는 학교 교사의 학교도서관에 대한 인식을 도서관의 관점에서 적극적으로 해석하여 그 인식에 영향을 미치는 학교도서관 요인을 파악함으로써 교사인식의 개선방안을 학교도서관 활동에서 모색하였다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다.
Abstract
In order for school library to fully serve as a key educational element of a school, teachers’ positive perception on the library’s role is essential. Due to the lack of the perception, however, school libraries are not closely related to class activities in practice. Since teachers’ perception on school library has been regarded as an given environmental factor in the field of school libraries, alternatives for revitalizing school libraries proposed in previous studies were not effective in practice. We developed a hypothesis that activities in school libraries have a certain impact on the teachers’ perception, and tested the hypothesis and identified library factors to the perception in this study. Through a series of statistical analyses with the data from a questionnaire survey with teachers in elementary schools, we identified that the teachers perceived the library as non-curricular element, their perceptions were affected by the library. Consequently, the school library can influence the teachers’ perveption. This study has implications to explore practical alternatives to improve the teachers’ perception on school libraries by activities in school libraries.

본 연구는 초등학교 교사의 사서교사와의 협력 독서교육 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고, 협력 독서교육을 위해 학교도서관과 사서교사가 해야 할 방안을 모색하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경기도지역 초등학교 9개 학교, 교사 176명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 수집한 자료의 데이터 코딩과 데이터 선별 과정을 거쳐 통계적으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 학교도서관의 도서관 역할, 이벤트 역할 인식은 초등학교 교사가 협력 독서교육에서 효과를 기대하며, 사서교사(사서)가 전문성이 있다고 인식했다. 하지만 초등학교 교사의 학교도서관의 교육적 역할 인식은 협력 독서교육의 기대효과와 필요성을 낮게 인식했으며 사서교사(사서)의 전문성도 낮게 인식했다. 본 연구는 협력 독서교육 방안과 그 안에서 사서교사의 전문성을 어디에 두어야 할지를 제안하였다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.
Abstract
This study examines the teachers’ perception of the school library’s role and the teacher- librarian expertise that enables collaborative reading education in elementary schools. Furthermore, it develops strategies that the school library and teacher-librarians should undertake for collaborative reading education. The questionnaire was developed to survey 176 teachers in 9 elementary schools in Gyeonggi-do. As a result, the teacher’s perception of the school library’s role and event role perception would positively impact the expected effects of collaborative reading education intention. This study is meaningful in that suggestions are offered for collaborative reading education and where teacher-librarian expertise is placed.

학교도서관은 학생들에게 미래의 불확실성에 대응할 수 있는 능력을 기를 수 있는 장소로, 다양한 정보를 활용하여 기본 역량과 변화 대응력을 키울 수 있는 곳이다. 학교도서관의 활용은 교사의 지도가 필수적이므로 교사의 인식은 매우 중요하다. 그러나 대부분의 연구는 교사의 인식을 외부환경으로 간주하여 그 중요성을 계량적인 척도로 측정하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 본 연구에서는 초등학교 교사들의 학교도서관 인식을 구체적으로 알아보고자, 사람 중심적인 접근 방법인 잠재프로파일 분석기법(Latent Profile Analysis, 이하 LPA)을 사용하여 기존 연구에서 검토하기 어려웠던 교사의 학교도서관의 역할과 중요성에 대한 복합적인 인식과 그 인식의 대표적인 유형을 확인하였다. 이를 토대로 교사의 인식유형에 따라 학교도서관의 운영과 활성화 방안을 맞춤형으로 제안하였다.
Abstract
A school library is where students develop their skills to cope with future uncertainty and can utilize various information materials to build their capability and response abilities to changes. Teachers’ perception is crucial as their guidance is essential for the student to use the school library. Most studies, however, focused on quantitative measurement of the importance of the teachers’ perception as an external environment, and there is a lack of specific categorization of different types of perceptions on the role of the school library. This study aims to examine types of perceptions about the school library among elementary school teachers. To do so, this study used Latent Profile Analysis (LPA), a person-centered approach, to identify teachers’ complex perceptions about the role and importance of the school library, which were difficult to review in previous studies, and the teachers’ most representative types of perceptions. Based on the findings from the above, this study is meaningful in proposing customized measures to operate and promote the school library depending on teachers’ perceptions.

본 연구는 법학전문도서관이 제 역할과 기능을 할 수 있도록 실질적인 평가 내용을 다루어 법학전문도서관의 역할과 나아가야 할 방향을 제시하였다. 특히 법학전문도서관 사서들을 대상으로 그들의 의견을 수렴하여, 평가항목을 도출하였고, 법학전문도서관의 주 이용계층인 법학전문대학원 학생들을 대상으로 그들의 요구를 조사하고 분석하였다. 특히 독립적이고, 전문적으로 법학전문도서관을 위한 평가를 지향하였다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있으며, 법학전문도서관의 건물과 시설 그리고 소장자료의 양과 함께 소장자료의 질, 법학도서관 사서의 기능과 역할 그리고 이용자의 만족도를 증진시키며, 외적인 면과 함께 법학전문도서관의 내실을 갖추는 것을 목적으로 하였다.
Abstract
This study investigated factors and issues for law school library evaluation. Also, this study suggested the roles and guidelines for law school libraries to perform its own role and function. To carry out the research, surveys were conducted with the law librarians. Then surveys were conducted to investigate law school students' demands and behaviors. Especially this study evaluated law libraries which were not carried out independently and professionally until now and meaningful as it thoroughly investigated users' demands and behavior with law school libraries and function and roles of law librarians. To facilitate law school library services and functions, quality of the collections, librarians' role, and users' needs should be considered as well as buildings and physical facilities. Particularly, users' needs assessment and librarians' opinion survey will be imperative in implementing evaluation.

최근 자기주도적 학습, 평생교육이 강조되면서 교육과정에서 학교도서관의 중요성이 부각됨에 따라 학교도서관의 구조적, 제도적, 운영적 관점에서의 연구들이 주로 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 학교도서관이 자율성 기반의 자기주도적 교육 운영에 핵심적인 역할을 수행한다는 점을 고려하면 학교도서관 이용자의 자율적 내적동기와 같은 미시적인 주제에 대한 고찰이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 자기결정성 이론을 기반으로 학교도서관 이용 동기에는 어떠한 유형이 더 중요한지, 학교도서관 이용 동기가 서비스 품질에 미치는 영향은 어떠한지에 대해 고찰하였다. 또한 학교도서관 이용 동기와 서비스 품질 인식이 도서관 이용자의 학년에 따라 어떻게 달라지는가에 대해서도 알아보았다. 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 통한 예비 연구를 기반으로 서울에 소재한 4개의 고등학교와 2개의 중학교 학생 588명을 대상으로 학교도서관 이용 동기가 도서관 서비스 품질 인식에 미치는 영향에 대해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 서비스 품질, 그리고 서비스 품질 요소 중 서비스 감성, 정보제어, 도서관 장소를 종속 변수로 각각 설정하였을 때, 네 가지 경우 모두 내재적 동기요인이 외재적 동기요인보다 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 중학생과 고등학생 집단을 각각 별도의 대상으로 설정하였을 때에도 두 집단 모두 내재적 동기가 높을수록 서비스 품질을 더 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 자기결정성 이론을 학교도서관 서비스에 적용하였다는 점, 이론을 토대로 구분한 동기 유형의 영향력을 측정하였다는 점, 그리고 학교도서관 서비스 향상을 위해 미시적 요인에 초점을 맞추었다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.
Abstract
Recently, the emphasis on self-directed learning and lifelong education is increasing the importance of school libraries in the curriculum. Accordingly, various studies have been conducted mainly from a structural, institutional and operational point of view. However, more research is necessary on the micro topics such as school library users’ autonomous intrinsic motivations in the sense that school libraries play key roles in autonomy-based self-directed education. This study aims at finding out what types of school library use motivations are more important and the degree to which the use motivations affect the school library service quality based on the self-determination theory. In addition, this study examines how the use motivations and the perceived service quality vary depending on the school grade of the library users. Based on a focus-group-interview pilot study, a questionnaire survey was administered on the effects of school library motivations on perceived library service quality to 588 students from 5 high schools and 2 middle schools in Seoul. When the service quality and its components, service affect, information control, and library as place were set as dependent variables, in all these four cases, intrinsic motivations were more significant than extrinsic motivations. In addition, when middle school students and high school students were selected as separate analysis target groups, the results of both analyses show that the higher the intrinsic motivations were, the higher the perceived service quality was. The contribution of this study is that it applies the self-determination theory to school library service, measures the influence of motivation type based on the theoretical basis, and focuses on micro aspects to improve school library services.

본 연구의 목적은 사서교사의 특성 변인에 따른 조직 커뮤니케이션 만족도가 학교도서관의 정보․교육서비스에 끼치는 영향을 분석하고 학교도서관의 교육적 역할 활성화에 주는 시사점을 도출하는데 있다. 분석 결과 사서교사는 업무수행에서 상사 및 동료와의 대화와 면담 등 비공식적 커뮤니케이션과 수평적 커뮤니케이션을 선호하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 성별, 경력, 학교 급 등 사서교사의 특성 변인에 따라서 이용자 교육, 도서관활용수업, 독서교육 프로그램 및 정보활용교육 운영 방식 등에 차이가 나타났다. 특히 비공식 커뮤니케이션에 대한 만족도가 높을수록 교과연계도서목록 제공이 증가하고 있으며, 수평적 커뮤니케이션이 정보활용교육을 활성화하는데 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 학교도서관 운영과 관련된 공동체 구성원에게 학교도서관의 비전과 목적을 알리고 책임과 역할을 분명히 하기 위해서는 수평적 커뮤니케이션 수단인 협조문, 위원회, 협의회 등을 활성화하고 적극적으로 참여하여야 한다. 또한 비공식 커뮤니케이션의 한계를 극복하기 위해서는 사서교사의 리더십 개발, 동료교사에 대한 맞춤형 서비스 제공을 위한 마케팅 전략 수립 등의 노력이 필요하다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of organizational communication satisfaction of teacher librarians on the informational and educational service and to draw implications for improvement of the school libraries' educational role. According to the results of the analysis, teacher librarians have preferred informal communication by conversation and face-to-face talk with superiors or co-workers and horizontal communication during their performance. Characteristics of teacher librarians, such as career, gender and school levels, have influential effect on user education, library- assisted instruction, reading and information literacy instruction. The more teacher librarians felt satisfaction of the informal communication, the more textbook-related reference lists are offered. Horizontal communication have a positive influence on information literacy instruction. However, teacher librarians should utilize cooperative statements, committees and councils and actively participate in those horizontal communication methods to share the vision and aims of school libraries with the larger school community. Teacher librarians also should put more efforts into developing their leadership role and marketing strategies in order to overcome the weaknesses of informal communication.

본 연구는 교사들의 생활교육에 대한 정보요구와 교육청으로부터 배부되는 교육지침에 대한 교사 인식 간 관계를 밝혀 이를 기반으로 한 학교도서관 정보서비스 제안에 목적을 두었다. 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 연구 모형을 제작하고 설계를 진행하였으며, 예비연구를 통한 심층면담을 분석하여 연구에서 고려할 요소들을 추출하고 설문 문항을 개발하였다. 경기도는 4개 권역으로 나누어지며, 각 권역별 3개 학교에 설문을 실시한 후 최종적으로 217부의 데이터를 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 연구 결과, 학교도서관의 생활교육 정보요구에 대한 관심이 궁극적으로 교사들의 학생생활교육 실태 개선에 영향을 미친다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 학교도서관에서 제공되는 정보서비스를 향상시키는 방법을 제시하였으며, 특히 교사들의 생활지도 정보요구를 학교 내부에서 해결하도록 학교도서관 서비스를 제안했다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study aims to present the relationship between the teachers’ information needs regarding guidance and the perception of educational guidelines issued by the Office of Education. The research design was conducted based on the reviewing theoretical background studies, and questionnaires were found in in-depth semi-structured interviews in a pilot study. Gyeonggi Province is divided into four regions, which is the target of the survey. Teachers of three schools in each region were surveyed, and eventually 217 copies of the survey were used for the final analysis. The result shows that the role of school libraries in caring for teachers’ information needs ultimately influences the improvement of teachers’ guidance. Based on this result, the study suggests ways to improve information services provided by school libraries. In particular, the study is meaningful in that it has presented a potential service plan that can be performed by school libraries to help address teachers’ information needs about guidance in schools.

본 논문은 초중등 학교도서관의 전자책 적정 구매 모델을 제안하기 위하여 전자책의 특성, 전자책 가격 결정에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석, 그리고 가격결정모델과 구매방법에 대한 사례조사, 환경, 정부의 역할 등을 연구하였다. 이를 기반으로 전자책 구매를 위한 적정 모델을 제안하였고, 제안된 모델의 현실적 활용을 위해 공청회, 전국교육청 학교도서관 담당자 및 전문가 등의 의견을 수렴하였다.
Abstract
This paper is studied in order to develop the models that are appropriate for the procurement of electronic books at the school libraries. To develop the model, the following factors were reviewed: the characteristics of an electronic book, the factor analysis that affect the electronic book price, use case, environment, the role of government for the price decision model and procurement method. The models were proposed based on the above analysis and review. In addition, the proposed models reflect various opinions that the school libraries can apply.

최근 학교도서관은 교과융합수업을 실행하고 수업 콘텐츠를 개발하는 역할을 요구받고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 융합교육 플랫폼의 역할이 가능하도록 학교도서관의 독서 활동과 인공지능 교육을 융합한 프로그램을 개발하고 중학교 수업에 적용한 후, 결과를 분석하였다. 프로그램은 인공지능 주제와 연관된 독서 활동을 통해서 인공지능의 개념과 원리를 이해하고, 인공지능 교육용 도구를 활용하여 생활 속 문제 상황을 창의적으로 해결하는 창의적 문제해결 함양을 목표로 하였다. 프로그램은 총 18차시(6회기)로 개발하였고, 2022학년도 경기도 A중학교의 학교도서관 자유학기 주제선택 수업에 참여하는 1학년 36명을 대상으로 적용하였다. 교육 프로그램 적용 후, 사전-사후 차이를 대응표본 t-test로 수행한 결과, 인공지능 학습에 대한 자기효능감과 창의적 문제해결력이 유의하게 향상되었다. 또한 프로그램을 수강한 학습자의 수업 태도와 독서 태도가 긍정적으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 토대로 학교도서관과 연계한 인공지능 융합교육에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다.
Abstract
Recently, there has been a growing demand for school libraries to take on the role of curriculum convergence and content development. This study purposed to develop a program that integrates reading activities and artificial intelligence (AI) education in a middle school library as a platform for convergence education. The program aimed to enhance creative problem-solving skills by integrating an understanding of AI concepts and principles through reading activities related to AI topics. The program, comprising 18 sessions (6 modules), was implemented with 36 first-year students at A Middle School, Gyeonggi-do, in 2022. After implementation, a paired-sample t-test revealed significant improvements in AI learning self-efficacy and creative problem-solving skills. Participants also showed positive attitudes toward class engagement and reading activities. Implications for AI convergence education in connection with school libraries were discussed.

본 연구는 고등학교 공통 과목을 중심으로 교과 교사들의 2015 개정 교육과정 현장 적용 실태와 인식이 교육정보요구에 미치는 영향을 확인하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 인천광역시 일반계 공립 고등학교에 재직 중인 국어, 수학, 영어, 사회, 과학 교과(군) 교사를 대상으로 개별 심층 면담과 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 2015 개정 교육과정 현장 적용 실태와 인식은 교육정보요구에 일부 유의한 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다. 특히 교육정보요구 부분에서 2015 개정 교육과정 적용에 따른 새로운 복본 요구 형태와 학습자료 정보원 요구 양태를 발견하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 지역적 범위 내 소규모 학교도서관 컨소시엄 형성과 레퍼럴 서비스 제공, 게이트웨이 역할 수행 기능 강화 등의 학교도서관 운영 방안을 제안하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to identify the effects of teachers’ recognition and application of 2015 revised national curriculum on their educational information needs in high schools. Several in-depth interviews and a questionnaire survey with the teachers, who were in charge of teaching common courses, such as Korean language, mathematics, English, social studies, and science, in general public high schools in Incheon, were executed for the purpose. As a result, the teachers’ recognition and application affected their educational information needs in part. Especially, new demands on small sized copies and learning information sources were identified which were related to the application of 2015 revised national curriculum. Based on the results, we proposed several improvements of school library operations, such as small sized local consortium for sharing resources and providing referral services, in order to strengthen the gateway role of school libraries.
