정보이용자연구는 인간과 인문환경을 대상으로 삼는 연구 분야로서, 본질적으로 연구의 활용성과 확장성이 높다. 그러나 국내에서는 정보이용자연구에 대한 연구동향과 실태가 제대로 파악되지 않아, 정보이용자연구의 가치 있는 연구 결과물들의 공유와 확산이 미진한 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 1980년부터 2015년까지 국내 문헌정보학 학술지 5개에 게재된 5,392편의 논문들 중, 정보이용자연구를 주제로 또는 정보이용자연구를 방법론으로 활용하여 생산된 논문들을 전수조사한 다음, 주제 분류표 및 분류 원칙을 설계하여 분류하고, 국내 정보이용자연구의 생산성과 연구동향을 질적인 내용 분석을 가미하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 정보이용자연구는 도서관 주제가 가장 많았다. 또한 정보이용자연구 결과물을 활용하여, 타 인접 학문과의 연계를 바탕으로 학계에의 또는 사회 제문제 해결에 기여할 수 있는 방안을 제안하였다.
Abstract
As a type of humanities discipline, information user studies tend to have influence and applicability on the related research fields. However, research trends and status of the user studies in Korea have not been extensively explored and thus resulted in limited sharing of the research outcomes. In this research, all papers related to the information user studies were selected from 5,392 articles reported in the five Korean Library and Information Science Journals. The chosen papers were classified according to the subject categories then qualitatively analyzed in terms of research productivity and trends. Library was the main theme of the information user studies. A number of suggestions were generated to apply the information user studies outcomes in solving academic as well as wider societal problems.
초록
본 연구의 목적은 한국근대문학 주제가이드에 대한 활성화 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 이용자 및 작가들을 대상으로 주제가이드 서비스에 대한 인지도 조사를 실시하고, 전문가 의견조사 및 수렴과정을 통해 한국근대문학 주제가이드에 대한 홍보방안 및 개선방향을 도출하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 활성화 방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다양한 홍보매체를 활용한 적극적인 홍보를 해야 한다. 둘째, 주제가이드의 유용성에 대한 이해 증진을 위해 이용자 교육을 제공하여야 한다. 셋째, 한국근대문학 주제가이드 서비스를 위한 별도의 사이트 구축이 필요하다. 넷째, 주제가이드 품질 향상 및 개선을 통한 효율적 주제서지정보서비스 방안으로 원문제공, 지속적 콘텐츠 추가, 유관기관과의 연계 등이 요구된다. 다섯째, 본 연구에서 분석된 성별, 연령별, 직업별, 학력별 요구도 차이를 기반으로 이용자 맞춤형 서비스를 제공해야 한다. 향후 연구에서는 주제가이드의 활성화를 위해 상호협력체계 모색, 구체적인 홍보전략을 제시하는 연구가 수행되어야 할 것이다. 또한 한국근대문학 주제가이드의 평가지표가 체계적으로 개발될 필요가 있다.
Abstract
The objective of this study is to explore the strategies to promote the use of the subject guide for Korean modern literature. To meet this objective this study conducted a survey on users’ awareness of the subject guide service and sought out experts’ opinions to identify the strategies to promote and improve the subject guide for Korean modern literature. The study proposes the following strategies: 1) Conduct promotional activities utilizing a variety of social media; 2) provide education for the user to enhance understanding of the utility of the subject guide; 3) build a website dedicated to the subject guide service for Korean modern literature; 4) provide an efficient subject-specific bibliography service by improving the quality of the subject guide, by offering full texts, ongoing content updates, and coordination with other institutions and agencies; and 5) tailor the service to user characteristics such as gender, age, occupation, and education level. Suggestions for future directions include research on the collaborative system, additional specific promotional strategies to promote the use of the subject guide, and development of evaluation indicators of the subject guide for Korean modern literature.

현대사회의 다양하고 복잡한 문제들을 해결하기 위해 학문영역을 넘나드는 학제적 연구가 등장하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 최근 다양한 영역에서 주목 받고 있는 빅데이터 분야를 대상으로 학제성을 규명하고 학제적 구조를 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 빅데이터를 다룬 학술지 총 1,083종의 데이터를 수집하였다. 이 중 420종(38.8%)의 학술지에 둘 이상의 Web of Science SC범주가 부여되었고, 239종(22.1%)에 부여된 SC범주는 상이한 학문영역에 속하여 빅데이터 분야의 비교적 높은 학제성을 확인할 수 있었다. 이와 함께 논문 게재 상위 56종의 학술지를 대상으로 서지결합분석 네트워크를 생성한 결과 총 10개의 군집이 나타났다. 10개 군집 중 7개 군집이 컴퓨터공학 분야에 해당하여 대부분의 연구가 빅데이터의 저장, 처리, 분석 등 기술적인 부분에 집중되어 있었다. 이외에도 군집분석을 통해 과학기술, 공학, 커뮤니케이션, 법학, 지리학, 생명공학 등 다양한 분야에서 빅데이터의 분석과 활용에 관한 연구가 이루어지고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 네트워크에서 매개중심성, 최근접중심성, 삼각매개중심성을 측정한 결과 컴퓨터공학 분야의 학술지들이 네트워크에 미치는 영향력이 크고 주제적 연관성이 강한 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
Interdisciplinary approach has been recognized as one of key strategies to address various and complex research problems in modern science. The purpose of this study is to investigate the interdisciplinary characteristics and structure of the field of big data. Among the 1,083 journals related to the field of big data, multiple Subject Categories (SC) from the Web of Science were assigned to 420 journals (38.8%) and 239 journals (22.1%) were assigned with the SCs from different fields. These results show that the field of big data indicates the characteristics of interdisciplinarity. In addition, through bibliographic coupling network analysis of top 56 journals, 10 clusters in the network were recognized. Among the 10 clusters, 7 clusters were from computer science field focusing on technical aspects such as storing, processing and analyzing the data. The results of cluster analysis also identified multiple research works of analyzing and utilizing big data in various fields such as science & technology, engineering, communication, law, geography, bio-engineering and etc. Finally, with measuring three types of centrality (betweenness centrality, nearest centrality, triangle betweenness centrality) of journals, computer science journals appeared to have strong impact and subjective relations to other fields in the network.
