본 연구는 대학구성원의 연구데이터 관리 및 공유에 대한 인식과 경험을 파악하고, 대학구성원을 위한 효과적인 연구데이터 관리 방안을 마련하기 위해서 고려해야 할 주요 사항들을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 문헌조사를 바탕으로 연구데이터 관리 및 공유의 주요 쟁점을 정리하였고, 이를 바탕으로 대학구성원을 대상으로 연구데이터 관리․공유에 대한 인식 및 경험을 묻는 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사로부터 얻어낸 결과를 종합하여 연구데이터에 대한 인식, 연구데이터 관리에 대한 인식 및 경험, 연구데이터 공유․공개에 대한 인식 및 경험 측면의 시사점을 정리하였다. 본 연구는 장기적으로 수행되어야 할 연구데이터 관리 정책 및 서비스 개발 연구의 초석을 다졌다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
Abstract
The study aims to understand university constituents’ perceptions and experiences of research data management and sharing then explore the critical factors for establishing effective research data management plans. The literature review enabled summarization of the significant issues regarding research data management and sharing. In addition, the follow-up survey revealed the university constituents’ perceptions and experiences about research data management and sharing. This study has significance because it laid the foundation for long-term research data management policies and services development.

본 연구에서는 국내 블록체인 연구의 전반적인 동향 및 시간에 따른 주제를 파악하기 위해 대학 및 기관 협력 네트워크 분석, 키워드 동시출현 네트워크 분석, 다이나믹 토픽모델링 기법을 활용한 시계열 주제 분석을 실시하였다. 대학 및 기관 협력 네트워크 분석 결과, 숭실대학교, 순천향대학교, 고려대학교, 한국과학기술원 등이 블록체인 연구의 주요 대학으로 나타났으며 대학 이외의 기관으로는 국방부, 한국철도기술연구원, 삼일회계법인, 한국전자통신연구원 등이 주요 연구기관으로 나타났다. 키워드 동시출현 네트워크 분석 결과, 가상자산(암호화폐, 비트코인, 이더리움, 가상화폐), 블록체인 기술(분산원장, 분산원장기술), 금융(스마트계약), 정보보안(보안, 프라이버시, 개인정보) 등에 대한 키워드들이 주요하게 나타났으며, 모든 네트워크 중심성 지표에서 스마트계약이 가장 높은 수치를 나타내어 주요한 주제임을 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 시계열 주제분석 결과, 블록체인기술, 블록체인생태계, 블록체인 적용분야1(무역, 온라인투표, 부동산), 블록체인 적용분야2(식품, 관광, 유통, 미디어), 블록체인 적용분야3(경제, 금융) 등 다섯 개의 주요 주제들을 도출하였으며, 각 주제별 대표 키워드들의 비율변화를 통해 주제별 변화를 관찰할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 기존의 국내 블록체인 연구동향 연구들과 크게 세 가지 관점(데이터, 방법론, 해석)에서 차이점을 나타내고 있다. 1) 최근 2년 사이 급증한 블록체인 연구를 포함하였고, 2) 대학 및 기관 네트워크 분석과 시계열 주제분석이라는 새로운 분석기법 및 연구방법을 활용하였으며, 3) 이를 통해 블록체인 연구를 주도하는 대학 및 기관을 식별하고 국내 블록체인 연구 트렌드를 파악하였다. 끝으로, 연구결과가 블록체인 관련 연구 협력 및 정책 수립과 관련 기술 개발 계획에 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 실질적인 함의를 시사한다.
Abstract
This study aims to explore research trends in Blockchain studies in South Korea using dynamic topic modeling and network analysis. To achieve this goal, we conducted the university & institute collaboration network analysis, the keyword co-occurrence network analysis, and times series topic analysis using dynamic topic modeling. Through the university & institute collaboration network analysis, we found major universities such as Soongsil University, Soonchunhyang University, Korea University, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and major institutes such as Ministry of National Defense, Korea Railroad Research Institute, Samil PricewaterhouseCoopers, Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute that led collaborative research. Next, through the analysis of the keyword co-occurrence network, we found major research keywords including virtual assets (Cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Virtual currency), blockchain technology (Distributed ledger, Distributed ledger technology), finance (Smart contract), and information security (Security, privacy, Personal information). Smart contracts showed the highest scores in all network centrality measures showing its importance in the field. Finally, through the time series topic analysis, we identified five major topics including blockchain technology, blockchain ecosystem, blockchain application 1 (trade, online voting, real estate), blockchain application 2 (food, tourism, distribution, media), and blockchain application 3 (economy, finance). Changes of topics were also investigated by exploring proportions of representative keywords for each topic. The study is the first of its kind to attempt to conduct university & institute collaboration networks analysis and dynamic topic modeling-based times series topic analysis for exploring research trends in Blockchain studies in South Korea. Our results can be used by government agencies, universities, and research institutes to develop effective strategies of promoting university & institutes collaboration and interdisciplinary research in the field.

본 연구에서는 다학제적 연구가 활발해진 국내 연구의 동향을 파악하기 위하여 2020 구글 스칼라 매트릭스에 색인된 국내 주요 학술지 데이터를 활용하여 전 학문분야를 포괄하는 네트워크 분석(대학협력 네트워크, 키워드 동시출현 네트워크, 학술지 인용 네트워크, 학문분야 인용 네트워크)을 실시하였다. 대학협력 네트워크 분석결과, 서울대학교, 계명대학교, 성균관대학교 등 협력연구를 활발히 진행하는 대학을 파악할 수 있었고, 키워드 동시출현 네트워크 분석결과, 이직의도, 직무만족 등 직무 관련 키워드가 높은 빈도로 나타남을 확인하였다. 학술지 인용 네트워크에서는 한국콘텐츠학회논문지, 한국사회학, 한국심리학회지: 문화 및 사회문제 등 인용이 많이 되고 있는 핵심 학술지들을 확인하였으며, 학문분야 인용 네트워크에서는 교육학, 경영학, 사회복지학이 다른 학문에 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 학문임을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 국내 계량서지분석연구에서 시도하지 않았던 구글 스칼라 매트릭스 데이터를 처음 활용하였으며, 키워드, 학술지, 학문분야로 범위를 확장시켜가며 단계적 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다는 점에서 학술적 의의를 가지며, 연구결과는 국내 대학 간 공동연구의 전략 수립 및 다학제적 융합 연구 기획에 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 실질적인 함의를 시사한다.
Abstract
This study aims to understand the research landscape of South Korea using the data of 2020 Google Scholar Metrics. To achieve the goal, we constructed and analyzed four types of networks including the university collaboration network, the keyword co-occurrence network, the journal citation network, and the discipline citation network. Through the analysis of the university collaboration network, we found major universities such as Seoul National University, Keimyung University, and Sungkyunkwan University that have led collaborative research. Job related keywords such as job change intention and job satisfaction have been frequently studied with other keywords. Through the analysis of the journal citation network, we found multiple journals such as The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, Korean Journal of Sociology, and Korean Journal of Culture and Social Issues that have been widely cited by the other journals and influenced them. Finally, Education, Business administration, and Social welfare were identified as the top influential disciplines that have influenced other disciplines through the knowledge diffusion. The study is the first of its kind to use the data of Google Scholar Metrics and conduct a stepwise network analysis (e.g., keyword, journal, and discipline) to broadly understand the research landscape of South Korea. Our results can be used by government agencies and universities to develop effective strategies of promoting university collaboration and interdisciplinary research.

본 연구의 목적은 국내 대학도서관에서 수행하고 있는 연구성과 서비스의 도입, 성장, 현재 운영 내용 및 향후 계획을 구체적으로 살펴봄으로써 향후 서비스 도입을 고려하는 도서관이 참고할 수 있도록 하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 연구성과 서비스를 선도적으로 제공하고 있는 4개의 대학도서관을 대상으로 서비스 담당자와의 심층면담을 수행하였다. 심층면담의 내용은 성장, 운영, 서비스를 포함하는 5개의 범주로 구성되었다. 연구 결과, 연구성과 서비스는 대학 연구경쟁력 강화를 지원하려는 목적으로 학내 구성원의 요구 또는 서비스 확대를 위한 도서관 내부의 기획으로 2010년 전후로 시작되었고, 시스템의 개선과 서비스 내용의 확대를 통하여 지속적으로 서비스가 강화되어온 것으로 나타났다. 또한 연구성과 서비스의 개발과 운영을 위해 참조할 수 있는 연구성과 서비스의 종합적인 모형을 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study describes the introduction, growth, current practices and future plans of research evaluation services performed in domestic academic libraries, with a view to informing other libraries considering similar endeavours. To that end, in-depth interviews were conducted with four librarians from academic libraries leading in research evaluation services. The contents of the interviews were grouped into five categories including growth, management, and services. The study found that their research evaluation services were launched around 2010 by demands of members of a university or as a library’s initiative to expand the existing services for the purpose of enhancing the university’s research competitiveness. The research evaluation services have been strengthened by extending the service scope and improving related systems. Also, the study suggests a comprehensive model that can guide the development and operation of research evaluation services.
