초록
이 연구는 국내 전문학술지를 통해 국내 도서관마케팅의 도입 시기부터 현재까지 관련연구의 시대적 흐름에 따른 변화와 앞으로의 연구동향을 살펴보고, 향후 도서관마케팅 관련 주제 분야의 연구에 도움이 되는 기초 자료를 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 문헌정보학 분야 전문 학술지인 ‘한국문헌정보학회지’, ‘한국비블리아학회지’, ‘한국도서관․정보학회지’, ‘정보관리학회지’의 창간호부터 2013년까지 발행된 전체논문 3,951편 중 선택된 키워드로 검색하여 중복된 논문 및 도서관마케팅과 관련이 없는 논문을 제외하고 최종 선정된 359편의 논문을 대상으로 항목별 세부분석을 통해 연구결과를 도출하였다. 이 연구의 결과, 연고별 연구논문 발표 추이, 기관별 연구논문 발표추이, 저자별 연구논문 발표추이, 영역별 연구논문 발표추이, 관종별 연구논문 발표추이가 나타났다.
Abstract
The objectives of this study are to examine changes in research on library marketing promotion from its introduction to the present using domestic journals carrying research papers on library marketing, to forecast research trends in the future, and to provide basic information for supporting future studies on subjects related to library marketing. There were a total of 3,951 papers published through the journals in the area of library and information science including ‘The Journal of the Korean Society for Library and Information Science’, ‘The Journal of the Korea Biblia Society for Library and Information Science’, ‘The Journal of the Korean Library and Information Science Society’, and ‘The Journal of the Korean Society for Information Management’ from their first issues to the present. These papers were searched using selected keywords, and after redundant papers and those not related to library marketing were excluded, 359 papers were sampled for this study and analyzed from different aspects. Findings derived from this study, with regard to trends in research paper publishing by year, with regard to trends in research paper publishing by institution, with regard to trends in research paper publishing by author, with regard to trends in research paper publishing by area, and with regard to trends in research paper publishing by library type.
초록
본 연구에서는 설문조사를 통해 공공도서관이 디지털통합적 지역사회 구축자로서의 역할에 어느 정도 기여하고 있는지를 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국가도서관통계시스템에 등록된 전국 공공도서관 935개 기관을 대상으로 설문을 수행하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 컴퓨터, 노트북, 스캐너, 태블릿 PC 등 장비 인프라, 인터넷 인프라 등은 비교적 높은 수준에 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 둘째, 이용자가 이용할 수 있는 전자책, 디지털 및 가상참고서비스, 도서관서비스 모바일 앱 등 서비스나 자원은 비교적 높은 수준이나 협업과 그룹작업을 지원하는 소프트웨어나 참여공간의 가용성 등은 상당히 낮게 나타났다. 셋째, 기술과 관련된 리터러시 훈련 비율은 22.4%에 지나지 않았고, 교육주제도 자원탐색 주제로 집중되어 있으며, 화상회의기술 사용법이나 클라우드 컴퓨팅 어플리케이션 교육 등 다소 미래지향적인 기술교육은 하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 문화향유 공간 또는 창의적인 공간으로서의 도서관의 다양한 역할 변화를 모색해야 하는 이 시대의 흐름에 따라 기술 및 장비의 제공확대, 그리고 미래지향적 서비스 및 교육제공을 고려해야 할 것이다.
Abstract
This study tends to apprehend how much public library contributes to a role of upbuilder of digital integrated local society through a survey. For this, I performed the survey on 935 organization of public library in the whole country registered in national library statistical system. As a result, firstly, it’s apprehended that equipment infra, Internet infra, etc like computer, laptop, scanner, tablet PC, etc are in relatively high level. Secondly, service or resource like electronic book, digital and virtual reference service, library service mobile App, etc that users can use are in relatively high level but software supporting cooperation and group task, fusibility of participating space, etc are shown very low level. Thirdly, the rate of literacy training relating to technology were only 22.4%, education subject focused on resource searching subject and somewhat future-oriented technical education like directions of video conference technique, cloud computing application education, etc wasn’t conducted. Finally, we should consider expansion of providing technology and equipment and provision of future-oriented service and education according to a flow of the time that needs to seek change in various roles of library as enjoying culture space or creative space.
