초록

본 연구의 목적은 지역정보화의 측면에서 장노년층이 인지하는 정보화교육의 유용성을 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 데이터 수집은 대구지역에 거주하고 있으며 인터넷 사용 경험이 있는 만50세 이상을 대상으로 설문조사와 인터뷰를 통하여 이루어졌다. 수집된 데이터 중 311명의 유효한 응답자 데이터를 정보화교육 참여경험의 유무에 따라 두 집단으로 구분하여 정보화교육의 유용성을 구조방정식으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 두 집단 모두 정보화교육의 유용성은 ‘정보활용 편의성’, ‘정보활용 유용성’, 그리고 ‘삶의 만족감’에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 두 집단 모두 ‘정보활용 편의성’은 ‘삶의 만족감’에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, ‘정보활용 유용성’과 ‘삶의 만족감’은 통계적으로 유의미한 수준은 나타나지 않았다.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyse the usefulness of information literacy education for the over 50-years older adults in Daegu, Korea. To achieve this objective, data were collected through the questionnaire survey and interview. Of the 311 valid data were categorized into two groups in accordance with their experience of information literacy education, and analysed using AMOS for the structural equation modeling. As the results, both groups showed that the information literacy education influences positively among in ‘information convenience’, in ‘information usefulness’ and in ‘life satisfaction’. Also, regardless of their experience of information literacy education, the group revealed that ‘information convenience’ positively impacts on the ‘life satisfaction’, however, ‘information usefulness’ did not show any significant relationship with the ‘life satisfaction’ in this study.
