본 연구는 독서공간으로서의 학교도서관에 주목하고 독서를 위한 학교도서관 이용 시 공간특성 요소에 대한 중학생 이용자의 인식을 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 선행연구와 예비 연구를 통해 공간특성 요소를 선정하고 각 공간특성 요소에 대해 학생들이 중요하게 생각하는 정도와 충족하는 정도를 살펴보고자 하였다. 그리고 이용자의 인식이 이용현황 및 학교도서관 독서활동 경험에 따라 차이가 있는지 살펴보았으며, 학교도서관 이용자 만족도와 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는지 파악하였다. 더불어 공간특성 요소의 인식이 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는데 있어 학교도서관 이용자 만족도가 매개 역할을 하는지 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 중학교 4곳에 재학 중인 342명의 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 공간특성 요소 중 소통성, 다양성, 안전성, 편의성에 대한 이용자의 인식이 이용현황에 따라 차이를 보였으며, 소통성, 쾌적성, 분위기가 이용자 만족도에, 심미성과 소통성이 지속이용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이 중 소통성, 쾌적성, 분위기는 학교도서관 이용자 만족도를 매개하여 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 독서를 위한 공간으로서 학교도서관을 조사함으로써 학생들의 독서 지원을 위한 방안을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다.
Abstract
This study aims to understand students’ perceptions of the spatial characteristics of school libraries when they use them for reading. We selected a set of spatial characteristics by reviewing the literature and conducting a preliminary investigation. Then, we examined how students perceived the importance of and how satisfied they were with each characteristic. In addition, we investigated how students’ perceptions differ by the library uses and reading-related activities. We also studied whether the satisfaction of school library users affects their continued use of the libraries. We also verified whether school library user satisfaction is an intervening variable in continued-use intention, which is affected by spatial characteristics perception. We conducted a survey of 342 students from four middle schools. The analysis of the survey outcomes shows differences in library use due to spatial characteristics such as convenience, communicability, diversity, and safety. Factors such as communicability, comfortability, and ambience affected user satisfaction positively. Both aesthetics and communicability also positively influenced the continued-use intention. Furthermore, we identified that communicability, comfortability, and ambience eventually impacted the continued-use intention via user satisfaction, an intervening variable. The significance of this study is that it considered the direction of the school library to support students’ reading by regarding the school library as a space for reading.

주민참여예산으로 메타버스 서비스를 준비하고 있는 경기도서관을 중심으로 선행연구와 각종 정보자원을 분석하여 경기광역대표도서관에 적합한 메타버스의 역할을 도출하였다. 그리고 광역대표도서관을 중심으로 협력적 콘텐츠 구축 및 서비스 모델을 일차적으로 제시한 뒤, 광역대표도서관, 경기도를 비롯한 전국의 각종 도서관의 현장 사서들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 광역대표도서관의 메타버스 역할, 콘텐츠, 협력 가능한 콘텐츠 및 원활한 협력을 위한 고려사항 등을 도출하였다. 사서들의 의견을 조사한 결과, 광역대표도서관 메타버스의 역할은 도서관 자료의 연속적인 이용을 위한 도구이며 지역 전체를 위한 서비스 공간이 되어야 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 응답자의 3/4이 협력적 콘텐츠 구축에 참여의향을 보였으며, 참여 시 우려가 되는 점은 인력과 예산, 업무과중으로 나타났으며, 광역대표도서관의 체계적인 지원이 필요함을 볼 수 있었다.
Abstract
Focusing on Gyeonggi Library, which is preparing Metaverse services using resident participatory budgets, we deduced the role of Metaverse suitable for metropolitan representative libraries, conducting a preliminary study and analyzing various informational resources. Subsequently, we presented a collaborative content construction and service model primarily centered around the metropolitan representative library. We conducted a survey targeting on-site librarians from metropolitan representative libraries, as well as various libraries across Gyeonggi Province and the entire nation. Through this survey, we extracted insights into the Metaverse role, content possibilities, and considerations for seamless cooperation within the scope of the metropolitan representative library. Based on the opinions of surveyed librarians, it was evident that the role of the metropolitan representative library’s Metaverse should function as a tool for continuous utilization of library resources and serve as a space for the entire local community. Approximately three-fourths of the respondents expressed willingness to participate in collaborative content development. However, concerns were raised about human resource limitations, budget constraints, and excessive workloads as potential obstacles to participation. This highlighted the need for systematic support from the metropolitan representative library to address these concerns.

본 연구의 목적은 아파트 단지 내 작은도서관에서의 자원봉사활동 경험이 지역공동체 의식 형성에 기여하게 되는 과정을 질적분석을 통해 알아보는 데 있다. 연구목적 달성을 위해 D 광역시 DS 구에 있는 5개 아파트 도서관에서 자원봉사활동을 하고 있는 33명의 봉사자와 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 분석결과 자원봉사활동의 시작은 본인이 도서관의 주 이용자가 되어서 도서관을 통해 긍정적 경험을 하고 동시에 도서관에 대한 문제점을 인식하면서인 것으로 나타났다. 자원봉사활동을 통해 그들은 지역주민들과 더욱 활발히 소통하게 되고 도서관이라는 공간을 함께하는 공간으로 인식하게 되며, 이러한 인식을 통해 자원봉사활동경험은 지역에 대한 공동체 의식을 형성하는데 기여하는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of volunteering experience at a small library in an apartment complex on the formation of a sense of community through a qualitative method. To achieve the study purpose, thirty-three volunteers from five small libraries in an apartment complex in DS-gu at D Metropolitan City were interviewed. According to the study results, they started volunteering at the libraries as a main user of the libraries. Through the volunteering experience, they had positive feelings about the libraries and were aware of the problems with the libraries. Furthermore, the volunteering experience facilitated communication among the residents of the apartment and they recognized the libraries as a shared community space. Finally, through the above processes, the volunteering experience contributes to formimg a sense of community.

본 연구는 법원도서관 법마루 도서대출 데이터를 분석하여 이용자 대출 패턴을 파악하고 분석 결과를 향후 이용자 서비스에 반영하는 방안을 제안하였다. 2022년 법마루의 소장 도서는 212,608권이었으며, 법률서가 73%를 차지하고 있었다. 그러나 실제 대출은 일반서가 83%의 비중을 차지하고 있었다. 주제별 이용계수를 살펴보면 문학 분야가 5.85로 가장 활발히 이용되고 있었고 법학 분야가 0.23으로 가장 저조하게 이용되고 있었다. 상호대차의 경우, KERIS 가입 회원기관과 대한변호사협회 모두 제법 분야, 민법 분야, 사법소송절차 분야 순으로 대출 비율이 높았다. 다만, 법학계인 KERIS 가입 회원기관이 실무계인 대한변호사협회에 비해 더 다양한 주제 분야의 법률서를 대출하고 있었다. 법률정보의 접근권 향상을 위해 법마루 대국민 대출서비스를 시행했지만 실제로는 열람 공간의 이용이 높았고, 대출 역시 일반서의 비중이 월등히 높다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 개선하기 위해서는 법마루 대출 서비스 홍보 강화 및 개인화 서비스 제공, 도서대출 규정 정비 온라인서비스 강화 및 협력네트워크 구축 등이 필요할 것으로 보인다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the Beopmaru, Supreme Court Library of Korea, circulation data to identify user lending patterns and proposed a plan to reflect the analysis results in future user services. In 2022, Beopmaru's collection of books was 212,608, with law books accounting for 73%. However, general books accounted for 83% of actual circulation. Looking at the usage coefficient by topic, the literature field was the most actively used at 5.85, and the law field was the least used at 0.23. In the case of interlibrary loan, both KERIS member institutions and the Korean Bar Association had the highest loan ratios in the legal field, civil law field, and judicial litigation procedure field, in that order. However, member institutions affiliated with KERIS, a legal academic community, were lending law books on a wider range of subject areas than the Korean Bar Association, a practical organization. To improve access to legal information, the Beopmaru public service was implemented, but in reality, the use of reading space was high, and the proportion of general books loaned was much higher. In order to improve this, it seems necessary to strengthen the promotion of Beopmaru loan services, provide personalized services, improve book lending regulations, strengthen online services, and establish a cooperative network.
