본 연구는 대학도서관 웹페이지의 평가와 개선방안에 관한 것으로 평가기준을 제시하여 전국에 있는 대학도서관 웹페이지를 국립대학교, 사립대학교 및 전문대학으로 나누어 직접 평가해 봄으로 현황과 문제점을 파악하고 이를 수정하고 보완토록 하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구방법으로 문헌연구와 전문가집단에게 문의한 자료(Delphi 기법)를 토대로 평가를 실시하였다. 자료의 분석방법으로 기초적인 분석은 빈도분석과 기술통계를 사용하였으며, 국립대학로, 사립대학교, 전문대학, 수도권소재 대차, 지방소재 대학간에 평가항목별로 유의한 타이가 있는지를 분석하기 위해 t-test, ANOVA 및 교차분석(x²)을 사용했고. 변인간의 상관관계를 알아보기 위해 피어슨 상관계수를 사용해 분석하였다.
Abstract
The objective of this study was not only to evaluate different academic library homepages but to hit upon and suggest a reformation plan for their future improvement. For this purpose. academic library web pages of Korea were divided into three major groups -- those of national universities, private ones, and junior colleges. Their web pages were evaluated using a number of criteria. Also, their circumstances and problems were tried to grasp and the methods to be corrected were suggested in this thesis. Literature review were performed for this study and suggestions and advices from professional groups that is called Delphi method were used as a tool to achieve the objective of this study. For a basic analysis, frequency analysis and descriptive statistics were used for analysing data. Also, t-test, ANOVA, and chi-square analysis were used to examine whether there are any significant differences in each groups or not. and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficients were used to find out the correlation among several variables.

이용자 관점에서 도서관 서비스에 대한 품질 평가는 시간의 흐름과 정보기술과 같은 환경에 따라 변화한다. 따라서 도서관은 서비스 품질과 이용자 만족도를 지속적으로 측정하여 새로운 환경에 필요한 개선점을 도출할 필요가 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 국내외 대학도서관을 대상으로 LibQUAL+ 서비스 품질 평가 결과의 변화와 경향을 분석하고 개선 방향을 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국내외 대학도서관 각각 1개관을 선정하였다. 캐나다 맥길대학교 도서관은 6년간 누적된 LibQUAL+결과를 대상으로 하였으며, 국내 A대학은 2012년 결과와 본 연구에서 수행한 2015년 결과를 분석하였다. 분석방법으로는 방사형 차트, 막대 차트, 그래프를 이용하여 LibQUAL+ 22개 항목, 3개 차원에 대한 이상 기대치, 실제 인식치, 최소 기대치와 적정성 갭, 우수성 갭의 변화를 비교․분석하였다. 분석 결과는 연도별, 학부생과 대학원생의 도서관 서비스에 대한 인식수준의 변화 및 기대수준에 있어 현저한 차이가 있음을 보여주었다. 특히, A대학의 분석결과는 이용자들의 전반적인 도서관의 기대수준이 향상되었으나 이에 반해 인식수준은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이러한 결과는 이용자의 집단(학부생, 대학원생)에 따라 큰 차이를 보였다. 따라서 대학도서관 서비스는 직원, 자원, 시설 차원에 대한 개선방안이 필요하며, 개별 이용자 그룹에 특화된 서비스 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
Users tend to perceive differently the service quality of library depending on the advance of digital information technologies. It is necessary to analyze the cumulative results of LibQUAL+ in order to identify the suggestions for improvement of library services. This study aims to comparatively analyze the results of LibQUAL+ and demonstrate the trends and changes for the services of university library. To achieve the purpose of this study, two university libraries were selected for analysis. The library of McGill University in Canada was selected with the six years’ results of LibQUAL+. Another library located in Seoul was selected with the 2012 result of LibQUAL+ and a new LibQUAL+ in 20015 was conducted for this study. The results were analyzed with three dimensions and 22 items in terms of circular chart, bar chart, and graph. Findings of this study indicated that there were substantial differences in terms of years of LibQUAL+ survey and user groups with undergraduate/graduate students in three dimensions. In particular, the results of A library showed that users were likely to expect more from the university library, but they perceived low service quality. In addition, there was found considerable differences among users groups in terms of undergraduate and graduate students. The improvements for library services need to focus on three dimensions such as staff, resources, and facilities as well as customized services for individual user groups.

이 논문은 서비스 품질 관점에서 도서관 모바일 서비스를 위한 평가 모형을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 기존에 연구된 도서관의 서비스 품질 평가 모형과 모바일 서비스 평가 연구에 대한 문헌 분석을 실시하였으며, 이를 토대로 도서관 모바일 서비스 품질 평가에 필요한 4개 품질 차원, 10개 품질 요인, 39개 품질 측정 항목으로 구성된 평가 모형을 개발하였다. 그리고 개발된 모형의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 델파이 기법을 적용하였으며, 최종적으로 4개 품질 차원, 9개 품질 요인, 37개 품질 측정 항목으로 구성된 모형을 도출하였다. 이 연구에서 제안하고 있는 평가 모형은 도서관의 모바일 서비스 품질 진단 도구로 사용될 수 있으며, 또한 도서관 모바일 서비스의 개선을 위한 가이드라인으로도 활용될 수 있다.
Abstract
This paper aims to develop an evaluation model for library mobile services in terms of service quality. First, a literature review of the service quality evaluation model and the mobile library service evaluation was conducted. Then, based on the analysis, the evaluation model consisting of 4 quality dimensions, 10 quality factors, 39 quality measurement items was developed. Delphi method was applied to verify the validity of the model. Finally, a final model consisting of 4 quality dimensions, 9 quality factors, and 37 quality measurement items was derived. The evaluation model proposed in this study can be used as a measure of library mobile service quality and can be used as a guideline for improvement of library mobile service.

교육훈련 평가는 교육프로그램과 관련한 내용을 측정, 관찰하여 품질을 평가하고 이를 통해 교육훈련 변경에 대한 근거를 제공하는 행위이다. 국립중앙도서관은 사서교육 훈련프로그램 교육과정의 성과와 질을 제고할 수 있는 평가방법의 도입이 필요한 시점이다. 이에 본 연구는 국립중앙도서관의 사서교육훈련 직무교육의 효과성을 객관적이고 복합적으로 측정할 수 있는 평가모형을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 Kirkpatrick의 4단계 평가모형을 적용하였으며, 선행연구, 국립중앙도서관 사서교육훈련 교육과정 현황조사, 이해관계자 요구분석을 실시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 사서교육훈련 평가체계 방향성을 설정하기 위한 평가체계 및 평가도구를 제시하였다. 본 연구 결과는 실제 국립중앙도서관 사서교육훈련과정의 현실적인 평가체계로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
Evaluation of education and training is the act of measuring and observing contents related to an educational program and evaluating its quality; and thereby providing the basis for the changes in the curriculum. The National Library of Korea (NLK) has urgently needed to introduce an evaluation method that can enhance the performance and quality of its continuing education program. Therefore, this study is aimed at developing an evaluation model that can objectively and comprehensively measure the effectiveness of NLK’s job training program for its librarians. To this end, the study applied Kirkpatrick’s 4-Level Training Evaluation Model and conducted review of preceding researches, investigation of NLK’s librarian continuing education program, along with analysis on the stakeholders’ needs. Based on the results, the study suggested evaluation system to establish the directions of the evaluation system. The findings of this study are expected to be used as a practical evaluation system for NLK’s librarian education program.

본 연구는 도서관에서 제공하는 적극적 정보제공 서비스로서의 테마전시 이용행태를 조사하고, 그 효과로서 이용자의 도서관 이용행태 변화와 인식변화를 확인하고자 하였다. 테마전시를 제공하는 3개 도서관의 7명의 사서와 8명의 이용자 심층인터뷰를 통해 연구 질문 및 설문지를 개발하고, 232명의 이용자를 대상으로 설문 및 통계분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과 테마전시 서비스가 이용자들의 다양한 자료이용을 도울 뿐 아니라, 사서에 대한 인식 및 도서관 평가에 긍정적인 변화를 주고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 토대로 각 도서관의 환경과 이용자층에 맞춰 테마전시를 적극적으로 수행할 것을 제안하였다.
Abstract
We investigated the user behavior of the theme display provided by the public libraries as an active information service. Specifically, we wanted to study the library patrons’ library use behavior and perception. There were in-depth interviews with seven librarians and eight patrons to develop a set of research questions and the questionnaire. We conducted the survey with 232 patrons then the statistical analysis. The analysis result revealed that the theme display helped the patrons’ wider use of the library resources and also positively affected patrons’ perception on the librarians as well as the evaluation of the library services. Based on the findings, we recommended the active incorporation of the theme display within the limitation of the libraries’ facility and patrons’ interests.

본 연구의 목적은 4차 산업혁명이 도래하면서 VR 산업에 대한 관심이 높아지고 기술에 대한 접근성이 강화됨에 따라, 국내 대학도서관 중 VR 서비스를 제공하고 있는 대학도서관에 대한 이용자 평가를 통해 서비스 개선 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해 도서관 VR 서비스의 종류와 현황을 분석한 후, VR 서비스 이용자 설문 조사와 심층 면담을 통해 이용자 평가를 수행하였고, 이용자 의견과 선행 연구 및 사례들을 종합하여 대학도서관에서의 VR 서비스 개선 방안을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to propose ways to improve the Virtual Reality (VR) service in Korea through the user evaluations of a university library that provide users with VR experiences as a new technology. With the advent of the 4th industrial revolution, interests in the VR industry increase and access to technology is strengthened. The kinds of VR services at the university libraries and the status of VR services at the domestic and foreign libraries were analyzed. After carrying out user surveys and in-depth interviews with VR service users, improvement plans were suggested according to the users’ opinions and the analysis of domestic and foreign case studies.

본 연구는 국립어린이청소년도서관의 핵심 추진과제 운영평가를 통해 전국의 어린이․청소년도서관 서비스의 국가기관으로서 주력해야 할 기능과 사업 추진 및 운영방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 어린이서비스 담당자를 대상으로 설문조사와 어린이도서관 관장들과의 포커스그룹인터뷰를 수행하였다. 연구결과 본 도서관의 기능 및 핵심 수행사업에 대한 설문 응답자의 평가는 대체로 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 핵심 수행사업 중 ‘전국어린이를 위한 독서진흥사업’에 대한 기여도가 가장 높게 평가되었으며, 독서진흥프로그램의 가장 필요한 부분은 ‘청소년을 위한 각종 프로그램 개발 및 지원 강화’와 ‘독서진흥 콘텐츠 개발의 지속적인 지원’인 것으로 나타났다. 어린이․청소년서비스 담당자 전문성 강화를 위한 계속교육 프로그램의 경우 다양한 콘텐츠 개발 및 강사진 확대, 교육형태의 다양화 등의 필요성이 제언되었다. 또한 국가대표도서관으로서의 핵심기능인 정책개발과 연구기능의 강화가 필요한 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study evaluated the core project operations of the National Library for Children & Young Adults to provide suggestions for its key functions and project operations plan. For this purpose, we conducted a survey for children's librarians and a focus group interview with the directors of children's libraries. The result showed that the overall functions were considered important and the contributions of the core project operations were rated positively. Among the core projects, ‘Reading Promotion Program for Children’ appeared to contribute most, while the most needed areas were contents development and continuous support for the reading promotion program for young adults. In addition, the need for diverse contents development, instructors and education tools were suggested for continuing education program, along with strengthening policy development and research functions.

본 연구에서는 친환경 녹색도서관을 인증함에 있어 도서관의 친환경성을 평가할 수 있는 평가지표를 개발하여 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 녹색도서관 관련 문헌 및 사례조사를 통해 도서관 녹색요소를 추출하였으며, 평가요소에 대한 도서관 직원들의 인식을 설문조사하였다. 최종적으로 11개의 평가영역, 31개의 평가항목, 135개의 평가지표를 가진 녹색도서관 평가지표를 개발하였다. 11개의 평가영역은 토지이용 및 교통, 에너지 및 환경오염 방지, 재료 및 자원, 물순환 관리, 유지관리, 생태환경, 실내환경, 도서관 자원, 친환경 교육프로그램 및 캠페인, 직원 및 운영, 전산화 등이다.
Abstract
This study was conducted to develop and propose the evaluation indicators to evaluate the eco-friendliness of the library, when certified as the eco-friendly Green Libraries. To do this, we extracted the green library components through an analysis of the green library literatures and case studies, and surveyed the perceptions of the library staffs about the assessment factors. Finally, we developed the green library evaluation index with 11 evaluation areas, 31 evaluation items, and 135 evaluation indicators. The 11 evaluation areas are as follows; Land use and transportation, energy and environmental protection, materials and resources, water cycle management, maintenance management, ecological environment, the indoor environment, the library resources, the eco-education programs and campaigns, the staff and operations, and the computerization.

본 연구에서는 전문도서관 사서를 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 대내․외 환경변화와 정책적 지원방안에 따라 업무영역에 미치는 영향력을 분석하고, 설문조사 결과에서 분석된 현장사서들의 인식조사 결과를 토대로 전문도서관 발전에 영향을 미치는 요인과 이에 따른 정책적 제안을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 개별 기관 내 도서관 위상 역할에 대한 인식에서는 도서관 발전계획 중요도에서 부정적인 의견이 58.3%, 도서관으로서 본연의 역할 수행여부에 대해서는 긍정적인 인식을 하는 것을 확인할 수가 있었다. 둘째, 전문도서관의 위상을 높이기 위해서는 주요 기능과 역할의 중요성을 인식하여 학술연구활동에 대한 인식이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 도서관발전종합계획 중 전문도서관 및 운영평가 인식에서는 국가 공공 정보의 대국민 서비스 확대에 대해 가장 높게 인식하고 있었다. 또한 5년간 발전전략 중 우선 시행되어야 할 정책으로는 전문도서관 현황 갱신 및 조사를 위한 시스템 구축을 선호하는 것을 확인할 수가 있었다. 넷째, 도서관 운영평가 참여율 제고를 위한 효과적인 대안 및 개선지표에 대해 분석한 결과, 공기업 평가 항목에서 “기관 도서관 운영 평가” 항목의 가중치 부여가 평균 4.01로 가장 높게 나타났다. 따라서, 전문도서관 발전을 위해서는 현재 전문도서관의 현황을 종합적으로 파악할 수 있는 체계를 구축하고 적극적인 학술 연구를 지원하는 것이 가장 시급할 것으로 파악되었다
Abstract
In this study, a survey was conducted targeting specialized librarians, and the impact on the work area according to changes in the internal and external environment and policy support measures was analyzed. In this study, we tried to derive factors that affect library development and policy suggestions accordingly. As a result of the study, first, it was confirmed that 58.3% of the negative opinions in terms of the importance of library development plans were positive in recognition of the role of library status within individual institutions. Second, in order to increase the status of specialized libraries, it was found that awareness of academic research activities was necessary by recognizing the importance of major functions and roles. Third, among the comprehensive library development plans, the recognition of specialized libraries and operational evaluation was the highest in recognition of the expansion of national public information services to the public. In addition, it was confirmed that among the five-year development strategies, the policy that should be implemented first is the preference for updating the status of specialized libraries and establishing a system for investigation. Fourth, as a result of analyzing effective alternatives and improvement indicators to increase the participation rate in library operation evaluation, the weighting of the “institutional library operation evaluation” item in the evaluation item of public enterprises was the highest at 4.01 on average. Therefore, for the development of specialized libraries, it was recognized as the most urgent task to establish a system that can comprehensively grasp the current status of specialized libraries as well as active academic research and support them.

본 연구는 고양시 제2차 독서문화진흥 종합계획 수립을 위해 그동안 고양시에서 시행해 왔던 주요 독서문화 진흥사업들의 추진 성과를 평가․분석함으로써, 고양시 특성을 반영한 독서문화 진흥정책의 주요 방향을 제안하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해, 본 연구는 각종 문헌 및 통계자료를 토대로 고양시의 독서문화환경을 분석하고, 2017년에 수립된 ‘제1차 독서문화진흥 종합계획’ 및 해당 계획에 따라 수행된 주요 사업들의 추진 여부 및 주요 성과를 파악한 후, 추진 성과 평가를 위한 설문을 구성하여 고양시 사서들을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 마지막으로 앞서 수행된 고양시 독서문화 환경 분석 결과 및 사서 대상 설문 조사에서 도출된 독서문화진흥 사업 성과를 평가한 결과, 그리고 이전의 관련 선행연구에서 고양시민들을 대상으로 수행되었던 독서실태조사 내용 중 독서진흥사업과 관련한 의견수렴 항목의 결과 등을 종합하여 향후 제2차 고양시독서문화진흥 종합계획 수립을 위해 고양시 도서관에서 고려해야 할 여섯 가지 주요 정책 방향을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to evaluate and analyze the performance of major reading culture promotion projects implemented in Goyang City, in preparation for the establishment of the 2nd Comprehensive Reading Culture Promotion Plan in Goyang City. To achieve this research objective, this study analyzed various literature and statistical data, identified the reading culture environment in Goyang City, and determined whether major projects implemented according to the 1st Comprehensive Reading Culture Promotion Plan established in 2017 were promoted. In addition, a survey was conducted among librarians in Goyang City by constructing a questionnaire to evaluate the promotion performance of actual relevant projects. Then, by aggregating the data on the reading culture environment in Goyang City, the evaluation results of the reading culture promotion projects obtained from the survey among librarians, and the results of the opinions on the reading promotion projects of the reading surveys of Goyang citizens in the previous relevant study, six major policy directions were proposed to be considered in the establishment of the 2nd Comprehensive Reading Culture Promotion Plan in Goyang City.
