본 연구는 문헌정보학 측면에서 국외 독서 및 독서교육 연구의 동향을 분석하고 향후의 연구과제를 제시하였다. 이를 위해 첫째, 문헌정보학 분야 국외 데이터베이스(LISTA)의 통제 키워드와 DDC 23판을 검토하여 독서 및 독서교육 관련 주요 연구 영역을 설정하였다. 둘째, 문헌정보학 분야 국외 데이터베이스(LISTA)에서 검색한 지난 100년(1914년～2014년) 동안의 독서 및 독서교육 관련 학술논문(2,115편)을 대상으로 지적구조 분석을 적용하여 연구동향을 분석하였다. 셋째, 이러한 연구동향 분석의 결과에 기초하여 독서 및 독서교육 분야의 향후 연구과제를 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to analyse the research areas and trends of reading (reading instruction) abroad in the respect of LIS, and suggest future research tasks. First, I reviewed the controlled keywords in SU field of LISTA database and the entries of DDC 23, and identified the research areas of reading and reading instruction in overseas. Second, I analysed the research trends of this field by applying a intellectual structure analysis on 2,115 research articles (1914～2014) retrieved from a representative database in the areas of Library and Information Science (LISTA). Third, Based on the results of these analysis, I suggested the future research tasks of this field in the domain of library and information science.
초록
디지털 큐레이션은 디지털 시대의 새로운 정보관리 및 서비스라고 할 수 있다. 디지털 환경에서 정보자원에 대한 체계적 관리 및 서비스를 추구한다는 측면에서 디지털 큐레이션은 문헌정보학의 핵심 영역에 해당한다. 본 연구는 디지털 큐레이션 관련 문헌들을 검토하여 주요 연구 영역을 설정하고, 대표적인 문헌정보학 분야 학술 데이터베이스(LISTA)에서 검색한 학술 논문들을 대상으로 연구동향을 분석하였다. 또한 이러한 연구동향 분석의 결과에 기초하여 문헌정보학 분야의 디지털 큐레이션 관련 향후 연구과제를 제시하였다.
Abstract
Digital curation can be said that the new information management and services in the digital age. In terms of exploring the systematic management and services for the information resources in the digital environment, Digital curation is one the core areas of library and information science. This study was set up a research areas as a result of reviewing the related literatures, and analyzed the research trends to the scholarly articles retrieved from a representative databases in the areas of Library and Information Science (LISTA). Also, I suggested future research agendas for digital curation in the areas of library and information science based on the results of the this analysis.

한국학술지인용색인 KCI의 데이터를 사용한 문헌동시인용 분석을 통해 2004년부터 2013년까지 10년 동안의 한국 문헌정보학의 연구 전선을 구체적으로 파악해보았다. KCI 웹사이트로부터 문헌정보학 분야 핵심 논문 159개와 이를 인용한 논문 정보를 수작업으로 수집하였다. 군집 분석 및 네트워크 분석 결과 27개의 복수 논문 군집과 8개의 단일 논문 군집이 도출되었다. 27개의 복수 논문 군집 중에서 논문 수가 가장 많은 것은 ‘문헌정보학 교육’ 주제 군집이었고, 인용 영향력이 가장 큰 것은 ‘인용분석 & 지적구조 분석’ 주제 군집이었다. 핵심 문헌 집합에 대한 인용 중에서 67.5%는 문헌정보학 내부에서 이루어졌고, 나머지 32.5%는 타 학문 분야로부터 발생한 것이었다. 전반적으로 문헌정보학 분야 내 인용 비율과 인용 영향력 성장 지수를 모두 고려하였을 때, 문헌정보학 분야 내부에서 최근 연구가 가장 활발해지고 있는 연구 전선 주제로는 ‘지역 기록’, ‘인용분석 & 지적구조 분석’, ‘연구동향 분석’의 세 주제가 꼽혔다. 이 연구에서 사용된 분석 기법은 국내 학제적 연구 분야의 연구 전선 분석에 효과적일 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
By document co-citation analysis with Korean Citation Index (KCI) data, this study accurately identified the research fronts and hot topics in Korean library and information science (LIS) from 2004 to 2013. 159 core papers in LIS domain and their citations are scraped manually from Korean Citation Index web site. In the cluster analysis and network analysis, 159 core papers were grouped into 27 clusters with multiple papers and 8 singlton clusters. Among the 27 clusters which have multple papers, ‘LIS education’ cluster was the largest with 16 core papers, and ‘citation analysis & intellectual structure analysis’ cluster had the strongest citation impact according to the ehs-index. Closer observation of the citations to the core papers in each research front showed that 67.5% of the citations were made by LIS research papers and 32.5% of the citations were made by non-LIS research papers. Considering the share of citations and the citation impact growth index, ‘local documentation’, ‘citation analysis & intellectual structure analysis’, and ‘research trends analysis’ were identified as the most emerging research front in Korean library and information science. The analytical methods used in this study have great potential in discovering the characteristics of research fronts in Korean interdisciplinary research domains.
