초록

과학기술 분류표, 시소러스, 용어사전 등의 주요한 색인 및 검색 도구를 한국어, 영어, 일본어의 3개 언어로 통합 구축하고 활용할 수 있도록 다기능, 다국어 과학기술 통합 개념체계의 개발 방안을 마련하였다. 개념을 기본 단위로 시소러스 모델을 개발하였으며, 용어사전 레코드는 ISO 12620 표준에 근거하여 필수요소를 지정하였다. 또한 과학기술분야 표준분류표를 대분류 수준까지 작성하고 기존 분류표와의 매핑 테이블을 작성하여 다른 분류표를 통한 접근이 가능하도록 하였다. 시소러스, 용어사전, 분류표의 원활한 상호 연계와 운용을 위해서 통합 개념체계 모형을 설계하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 통합 개념체계를 이용하여 원자력 분야를 대상으로 한 프로토타입 시스템을 구축하고 실제 검색 사례를 제시하였다.

초록

이 연구의 목적은 기록이 지식경영의 주요 자원임을 밝히고 기록관리의 기법이 통합적 KMS 구축에 활용될 수 있음을 구체적으로 제시하며, 또한 이러한 분석을 근거로 기록관리를 반영한 지식관리시스템 구축 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 지식자원으로서 기록의 가치를 파악하기 위해 우선 기록의 개념과 구조를 분석하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 Upward(1996)의 기록관리 개념을 지식관리 개념으로 치환하여 지식으로서의 기록의 가치를 적극적으로 파악하고자 하였다. 또한 기록의 계층성을 분석하여 기록이 지식으로 전이될 때 고려해야 할 핵심적 측면을 제시하고자 하였다. 이러한 분석을 토대로 기록관리에 기반한 지식관리시스템을 구축할 때 고려해야 할 원칙을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss ‘records' as core resources for knowledge management and to suggests the directions for developing integrated knowledge management systems based records management. This present paper begins with analyzing concept and structure of records in light of knowledge management, and identify the importance of records management in developing knowledge management systems by substituting evidence axis in Upward's “Records Continuum Model" for knowledge management. And this study tries to identify critical aspects regarding transfer of records to knowledge system by analyzing the level of records. Based on these analyses, it suggests a directions for developing records based-knowledge management systems.

본 연구는 다양한 유형의 지식을 제공할 수 있는 통합된 지식체계의 구축을 위해 확장된 도서관의 개념으로 접근한 디지털도서관의 통합형 지식관리 방안을 제시하고, 이를 위한 기본적인 프레임워크를 지식펌프형 지식관리 모형으로 구현하였다. 아울러 구현된 모형을 토대로 한 복수사례분석을 통해 디지털도서관의 지식관리 수준을 평가하고 활성화 방안을 제시하였다. 지식펌프는 지식의 적극적인 획득과 배포라는 디지털도서관의 이상적인 역할을 구현한 것이며, 정보기술의 기능적 적용에 머물러 있던 디지털도서관이 지식관리를 통해 그 영역 및 역할을 확장해 나갈 수 있는 논리적 근거와 확장방향은 물론, 실천방법을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Abstract

This study introduces the integration-style knowledge management of digital libraries in extended library concept, for integrated knowledge system which can provide various types of knowledge, and presents the knowledge-pumpknowledge management model. By applying the model to the cases of several institutions, the processes and levels of extension are analyzed, and the important tasks for activating knowledge management are suggested. The knowledge pump embodies ideal roles of the digital libraries that activate the acquisition and distribution of knowledge. It is significant that the digital libraries, which used to remain as a simple application of information technology, not only present logical basis and way for extending their roles and areas. but also explain the implementation methodologies.

최근 의학정보 분야에서는 임상의 지식관리와 의학정보 검색의 효율화를 위한 수단으로 온톨로지의 개념 모델링을 이용한 의학용어 시스템에 관심이 모아지고 있다. 본 연구는 우리나라의 의학정보 분야에 이러한 시스템의 응용이나 새로운 시스템 개발에 기초적인 자료제공을 목적으로, 정보 모델링과 온톨로지의 이론에 대해 고찰하였고, 외국의 의학정보 분야에서 온톨로지를 이용한 용어 시스템이 개발된 4가지 대표적인 사례를 분석하여 비교하였다. 연구결과 비형식적인 수준의 온톨로지로 파악된 MeSH의 의학용어 표준화와 UMLS의 용어 개념화, 형식적인 수준의 온톨로지인 ON9의 의학 온톨로지 통합의 이론화, 그리고 GALEN의 의학지식의 의미 모델과 형식화로 핵심적 특징을 요약할 수 있었다. 온톨로지의 응용은 목적하는 시스템에 따른 수준적 차별화가 이루어져야 할 것이고, 본 연구의 분석 결과가 참고 될 수 있을 것이다.

Abstract

Recent research in the field of medical information systems has paid much attention to an ontology based medical terminology system to support clinical study and effective information search. This study aims to conduct research for further application or construction of ontology systems in Korea. This research reviews the theory of concept modeling and ontology, and analyses 4 cases of conceptual modeling of medical terminologies by ontology. The findings of this study display these specific characteristics in medical ontologies : (1) The standardization of terminology on MeSH. (2) The conceptualization of terminology on UMLS. (1) and (2) are showed as unformal ontologies. (3) The theory of ontology integration in ON9. (4) The reference model of medical knowledge with formalization in GALEN. (3) and (4) are showed as formal ontologies. The application and construction of ontology should be differentiated according to the level of the proposed system, and then this analysis will provide useful information for the researcher and developer of the system.

디지털도서관은 통합관리를 위해 정보기술의 표준화 모델인 아키텍처와 거버넌스를 도입하고 있으며, 도서관의 체계적인 정보기술 거버넌스는 도서관의 정보기술과 업무 부문의 효과적인 융합으로 통합적인 조직의 전략 및 목표를 개발하고, 추진하여 관리하는 조직 기능이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 맥락에서, 본 연구의 목적은 도서관 조직 내의 정보기술 및 업무 관련 사회연결망 구조를 통해 도서관의 통합적 관리․운영을 위한 전략적 연계의 사회적 자본에 대한 분석 모델을 제시하는 데 있다. 전략적 연계를 위한 사회적 자본의 분석 모형은 첫째, 인적자원의 특성을 통한 전체 사회연결망 분석으로 둘째, 1) 커뮤니케이션 2) 경쟁력 및 가치 3) 거버넌스 4) 파트너쉽 5) 범위와 아키텍처 6) 역량의 전략적 연계 요소 분석으로 셋째, 전략적 통합성 및 기능적 통합성의 전략 적 연계 분석으로 설계하였다. 이러한 세 가지 사회적 자본은 사회연결망 분석 이론의 연결성, 중심성, 관계성으로 평가된다.

Abstract

This research applied the concepts of IT architecture and IT governance for managing with an integrated computing environment and organized structure, which base a digital library’s management and operation. It also aims to analyze the structural system between information technology of human resources and strategy alignment elements of business, which both constitute the core content. Social network analysis software was used to investigate the complicated relationship between IT and business-related strategy alignment elements. The following is the results of carrying out this research on the social network structure and features of strategy alignment elements for a digital library. First, analysis indexes for strategy alignment elements and social network of a digital library were developed. Second, an analysis model was designed based on the analysis index for social network as to strategy alignment elements. Analysis model was appraised by collecting social network datasets for such strategy alignment elements as Communications, Competency and Value, Governance, Partnership, Scope and Architecture, and Skills against the Business strategy, Information strategy, Business and Technology of a digital library. As for the content of analysis, social network structure and specific features were analyzed in relation to a digital library’s (1) General social network, (2) Structure of strategy alignment elements, (3) Strategy fit and Functional integration.

본 연구는 인류의 자산이자 중요기록물인 세계기록유산의 홍보활동을 활성화하기 위한 초기 연구로, 국내 세계기록유산의 웹사이트를 통한 온라인 홍보현황을 파악하고 개선방안을 제안하였다. 세계기록유산의 홍보의 의미를 정의하고 문헌연구를 통해 현황 분석을 위한 기준을 도출하였다. 홍보활동 분석영역을 홍보내용, 홍보유형, 홍보매체으로 나누고 세부 홍보항목과 내용을 설정하였다. 도출된 분석기준을 바탕으로 국내 세계기록유산을 소장 관리하고 있으며 온라인홍보 활동을 수행하고 있는 11개 기관의 21개 웹사이트를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 내용을 바탕으로 첫째, 세계기록유산의 홍보내용에는 보존가치와 활용가치가 상호 강조되어야 하며 둘째, 이용자 세분화를 통한 홍보가 이루어져야 하며 셋째, 관련 기록유산을 통합하거나 연결하는 시스템 및 서비스 구축하여 기록유산에 대한 이용자의 접근성을 높여야 하며 끝으로, 세계기록유산 홍보 관련 지침 또는 매뉴얼을 마련해야 할 것을 개선방안으로 제언하였다.

Abstract

The research aims to recommend strategies to promote PR activities of ‘the Memory of the World(MoW)’ on the websites. To achieve the goal, the researchers analyzed the current conditions of online PRs of the MoW in S. Korea by developing the standards/elements for analysis. The research examined the two main concepts of MoW and extracted the three core standards/elements for evaluating current online PRs of MoW through reviewing earlier studies: contents of PRs, ways of PRs, and features of media. The research examined PR activities on the 21 websites of 11 institutions which manage MoW in South Korea. The research found the significant features of the online PRs and suggested detailed strategies for improving the online PRs of MoW: first, it is required to emphasize the values of both preservation and utilization of MoW equally. Second, it is necessary to promote the PRs of MoW by using the way of ‘user segmentation’. Third, it needs to develop the unit systems and/or services to integrate with related documentary heritages so that users can access documentary heritages effectively and efficiently. Finally, it is required to develop the guidelines or/and manuals to conduct and promote the PRs of the MoW by providing specific directions and methods of publicities.
