Abstract

The success of social networking sites (SNSs) may depend on many factors. Continuance use of SNSs is one of these. Especially, in the Web environment where users can leave one service with a single mouse click, maintaining existing members cost much time and efforts. Without continuance use of SNSs, SNS-based service would not create any value. This study focused on identifying factors influencing users’ continuance intention in SNSs. Based on relevant literature review, six influencing factors were initially identified. They were reputation, relational capital, knowledge quality, compatibility, personalization, and satisfaction. Web-based ques- tionnaire survey was conducted and a total of 325 usable responses were collected. Reliability test and two rounds of exploratory factor analyses resulted in identifying five factors. The relationship between the factors and the continuance intention was tested by using multiple regression analyses. The analyses revealed that satisfaction was the most significant factor. Knowledge quality and relational capital also had significant effects while reputation and personalization did not have significant effect on continuance intention. Instead, reputation and personalization showed significance in influencing satisfaction.

이 논문은 학술지가 지니는 다양한 속성들(내부적인 요소, 외부적인 요소, 그리고 요구론적 요소)이 학술지의 이용 가치에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지에 대한 실증적 사례분석을 목적으로 하였다. 이 사례연구의 방법은 웹 질문지법을 채택하였으며, K기관 원문서비스 이용자와 DDS 담당자들을 대상으로 수집된 총 383개의 유효한 데이터를 분석하였다. 학술지의 내부적인 요소(즉, IF, 학술지 가격, 사용언어)가 학술지 이용가치에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 학술지의 외부적인 요소와 요구론적 요소는 학술지 이용가치에 별다른 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

Abstract

The purpose of this empirical case study is to explore what factors affect on the economic valuation of academic journals and to ascertain the degree of each impact. For this study, factors were categorized into three groups: internal factors, external factors and demand theory factors. The on-line questionnaire was used to collect data and 383 responded from individual users of and the persons in charge of the DDS(Document Delivery Service). Collected data were analyzed using SPSS 12.0 for Windows/PC. The result showed that there exist a strong relationship between the internal factors of academic journals(i.e., Impact Factor, Cost, and Language) and economic valuation in terms of its use value.

이 연구에서는 사건중심 뉴스기사 요약문을 자동생성하기 위해 뉴스기사들을 SVM 분류기를 이용하여 사건 주제범주로 먼저 분류한 후, 각 주제범주 내에서 싱글패스 클러스터링 알고리즘을 통해 특정한 사건 관련 기사들을 탐지하는 기법을 제안하였다. 사건탐지 성능을 높이기 위해 고유명사에 가중치를 부여하고, 뉴스의 발생시간을 고려한 시간벌점함수를 제안하였다. 또한 일정 규모 이상의 클러스터를 분할하여 적절한 크기의 사건 클러스터를 생성하도록 수정된 싱글패스 알고리즘을 사용하였다. 이 연구에서 제안한 사건탐지 기법의 성능은 단순 싱글패스 클러스터링 기법에 비해 정확률, 재현율, F-척도에서 각각 37.1%, 0.1%, 35.4%의 성능 향상률을 보였고, 오보율과 탐지비용에서는 각각 74.7%, 11.3%의 향상률을 나타냈다.

Abstract

This study investigates an event detection method with the aim of generating an event-focused news summary from a set of news articles on a certain event using a multi-document summarization technique. The event detection method first classifies news articles into the event related topic categories by employing a SVM classifier and then creates event clusters containing news articles on an event by a modified single pass clustering algorithm. The clustering algorithm applies a time penalty function as well as cluster partitioning to enhance the clustering performance. It was found that the event detection method proposed in this study showed a satisfactory performance in terms of both the F-measure and the detection cost.
