초록

협동적 정보행태에 대한 연구의 중요성이 대두됨에 따라, 다양한 문제 상황에서 협동적 정보행태에 대한 많은 수의 연구가 수행되어 왔고, 그를 바탕으로 여러 모형이 제안되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Prekop(2002), Reddy와 Jansen(2008), Shah(2008), Karunakaran, Spence와 Reddy(2010), Yue와 He(2010) 등이 제안한 5개의 협동적 정보행태 모형들을 비교 분석하고, 그 결과를 토대로 향후 협동적 정보행태 연구의 지향점을 논의하였다. 협동적 정보행태에 대한 기존 연구의 한계를 극복하고 후속 연구를 위한 전략은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다양한 이용자 그룹 및 문제 상황에 따른 협동적 정보행태의 연구가 요구되며, 둘째, 협동적 정보행태에서 나타나는 다양하고 복잡한 측면을 다루는 총체적인 연구의 접근이 필요하고, 셋째, 제안된 협동적 정보행태 모형에 대한 논의와 일반화의 검증이 필요하다. 특히, 국내외 환경을 반영한 경험적 연구를 바탕으로 제안된 모형이 수정․보완되어야 할 것이다.

Abstract

A number of studies and models have focused on collaborative information behavior (CIB) in various contexts as the importance of research on CIB is recognized in information behavior research. This study compared and analyzed the models of CIB developed by Prekop (2002), Reddy and Jansen (2008), Shah (2008), Karunakaran, Spence and Reddy (2010), and Yue and He (2010), and discussed the direction of future studies of CIB. The future research strategies for overcoming the limitation of previous studies and models on CIB are to extend research object and context, to do holistic research approach tracing complexity of CIB, and to debate and verify the models of CIB. In particular, it needs to modify and improve the models based on the empirical research for domestic context.

우리나라 의학도서관의 인쇄본 학술지 공동보존체제를 구축하기 위하여, 선행 연구와 사례를 통해 공동보존의 유형과 발전현황을 고찰하고, 한국의학도서관협의회 회원도서관들을 대상으로 인쇄본 학술지 폐기 실태와 공간현황 및 공동보존 요구도와 참여의지 및 선호방식 등을 조사하였다. 분석 결과에 기초하여, 기존의 MEDLIS 인프라를 활용한 집중형과 분산형으로 구성된 하이브리드 모형을 제안하였으며, 기본사항과 세부내용, 단계별 시행추진 전략을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 성공적인 구현을 위한 한국의학도서관협의회의 노력을 제언하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a collaborative print journal preservation model for the medical libraries in Korea. After reviewing previous studies and advanced preservation practices, a survey was administered to the members of the Korean Medical Library Association to collect data about the present states of journal weeding and storage space as well as their needs and preferences for collaborative preservation. Based on the analysis, a hybrid model, consisting of centralized and distributed archives, is proposed with MEDLIS as infra structure. Detailed characteristics and three phases of implement strategies are described. Finally, recommendations for the Korean Medical Library Association to the successful substantiation are suggested.

Abstract

Since information scientists have begun trying to quantify significant research trends in scientific publications, ‘-metrics’ research such as ‘bibliometrics’, ‘scientometrics’, ‘informetrics’, ‘webometrics’, and ‘citation analysis’ have been identified as crucial areas of information science. To illustrate the dynamic research activities in these areas, this study investigated the major contributors of ‘-metrics’ research for the last decade at three levels: nations, institutions, and documents. ‘-metrics’ literature of this study was obtained from the Science Citation Index for the years 2001-2011. In this analysis, we used Pathfinder network, PNNC algorithm, PageRank and several indicators based on h-index. In terms of international collaborations, USA and England were identified as major countries. At the institutional level, Katholieke University, Leuven and the University of Amsterdam in Europe and Indiana University and the Office of Naval Research in the USA have led co-research projects in informetrics areas. At the document level, Hirsch’s h-index paper and Ingwersen’s web impact factor paper were identified as the most influential work by two methods: PageRank and single paper h-index.

본 연구는 다양한 유형의 시각예술자원을 소장 기관이나 관리 주체에 관계없이 통합적으로 접근하고 이용할 수 있도록 하기 위한 통합검색의 필요성을 파악하고, 그 실현을 위한 기반 논의와 방안을 제시하기 위한 목적을 가지고 있다. 이를 위하여 국내 시각예술자원 관리 기관의 자원 관리 및 검색 서비스 현황을 파악하고, 국외의 관련 사례 분석을 통해 시각예술자원의 통합 검색 유형과 특성을 파악하였다. 이러한 분석을 바탕으로 향후 국내 시각예술자원의 통합검색의 적용을 위해 필요한 환경적 측면과 메타데이터와 시스템적인 측면의 기반조성 및 적용 방향성을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to reveal a necessity of and a strategy for the integrated use and the single search across the visual arts resources. For this purpose, at first, analysis was made on the current situation of Korean visual art resource management and retrieval systems. Secondly, the single search methods and its related technological foundation in foreign art resource institutions were categorized and analysed. As a result, this study suggested foundation for creating a sustainable environment for collaboration and single search that enhance access to and use of art resources.
