정보시스템 효과측정은 시스템 운영과 투자에 대한 가치와 효율을 이해하는데 있어서 매우 중요한 것이며, 이를 위한 방법 중의 하나는 이용자 만족지수 측정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 정보시스템의 이용자만족지수를 측정하기 위한 적정한 모형을 제안하고 개발된 모형을 사용하여 이용자만족지수를 측정하는 것이다. 마케팅 분야와 정보시스템 분야의 대표적인 이론들과 모형들을 근간으로 정보시스템의 이용자만족지수 측정모형을 제안하고 구조방정식 모형 분석을 통해 모형을 검증하였다. 이 모형은 정보품질, 서비스품질, 시스템품질, 이용자만족의 네 가지 기본적인 차원과 이용자충성도와 이용자불평의 두 가지 부가적인 차원으로 구성하였다. 제안된 모형을 사용하여 정보통신부 산하 기관인 정보통신연구진흥원(IITA) 기술정책정보단에서 운영되고 있는 ITFIND의 이용자를 대상으로 이용자만족지수를 직접 측정하였고, 그 결과를 토대로 향후의 시스템 개선을 위한 몇몇 전략 및 방안들을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The measurement of information system (IS) effectiveness is critical to understanding of the value and efficacy of IS actions and IS investments. In this paper, we propose a new model of the user satisfaction index for ISs and present the user satisfaction index which is measured by the proposed model. Based on the representative theories and models in the field of marketing and IS, we propose a new user satisfaction index model and verify the new model through the analysis of structural equation model. The proposed model consists of four basic dimensions: information quality, service quality, systems quality, and user satisfaction. Also, users' royalty and complaint are adopted as the additional dimension in this model. Data was collected from the ITFIND users to measure their satisfaction index. We, then, suggest some strategic guidelines for the better ITFIND which may useful when the system designers consider upgrading of the system in the future.

본 연구의 목적은 외국학술지 지원센터로 시범 선정된 K대 도서관의 원문복사서비스에 대한 경제적 가치를 추정하기 위한 것이다. 신제품이나 신규 서비스의 수요 예측에 활용되는 Bass 확산모형이 본 연구에서 활용되었다. 본 연구를 위하여 2007년 9월 10일부터 9월 20일까지 11일간에 걸친 설문조사도 함께 이루어졌다. 경제적 가치의 추정결과 유용가치는 2015년에 20억원을 약간 상회하는 것으로 나타났고, 지불의사가치의 경우는 20억원에 조금 못 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 본 연구에서 외국학술지 지원센터의 경제적 가치분석은 원문복사서비스에 한정되었고, 이를 위한 분석방법도 유용가치와 지불의사가치로 제한되었다. 유용가치와 지불의사가치의 인구통계적 분석(성별, 연령, 근무처, 학력)도 함께 이루어졌다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to estimate economic value of document delivery services(DDS) at foreign journal supporting center in K University library. For this study, Bass diffusion model, which is widely used in forecasting, especially new product and new service forecasting, was adopted. User survey was also carried out from September 10 to 20, 2007. As a result, useful value(UV) of DDS is estimated about not less than 2,000,000,000 won, and willingness to pay(WTP) is estimated about less than 2,000,000,000 won. This study, economic value analysis at foreign journal supporting center, was limited to DDS, and used methodology for the study is also limited to UV and WTP. Demographic analysis(i.e., sex, age, occupation, educational level) for UV and WTP is also conducted.
