본 연구에서는 한 번 방문한 이용자들의 방문횟수를 계속해서 유지시켜줄 수 있는 패션잡지 사이트의 구성에 대하여 연구하고자 한다. 이용자들이 사이트들을 쉽게 방문할 수 있게 하는 방법에는 여러 가지가 있겠지만, 홈페이지의 구성이 이용자들에게 어떻게 받아들여지느냐에 따라 많이 작용될 것이다. 그러므로, 이를 위하여 국내에서 운영중인 웹 패션잡지 7개를 선정하여 웹기반의 패션잡지의 이용 편리성을 콘텐츠, 디자인, 네비게이션, 서비스 측면에서 측정하였다. 또한 40명의 10·20대 남녀 피험자들 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 통해서 7개의 웹 패션잡지를 탐색하게 한 후에 최종 이용자의 행태를 조사·분석하였다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 콘텐츠, 디자인, 네비게이션, 서비스 측면에서 제공할 수 있는 패션잡지의 효과적인 웹사이트 모형을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The purposes of this study were to examine the features of web fashion magazines and to suggest an effective website model for them. Seven web fashion magazines were analyzed. The evaluating criteria included: contents, design, navigation, and services. In addition, online-questionnaires were sent to 40 end users to obtain the information regarding user behaviors on the elected web fashion magazines. The results show that a suggested model should include various aspects: 1) providing currents information. 2) consistency in design, 3) easy in navigation, and 4) searching function etc.

현재 국내 대학도서관에서는 웹을 통한 도서관 이용자교육이 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 기존 문헌에서 나타난 웹 사이트 평가기준과 웹 기반 도서관 이용자 교육 프로그램의 평가기준을 종합한 평가요소들을 도출하여 국내외 대학도서관의 웹 기반 도서관 이용자 교육 프로그램을 비교분석하였다. 이러한 분석결과를 바탕으로 웹 기반 도서관 이용자교육 프로그램의 설계에 대한 기준을 제시하여 향후 웹 기반 도서관 이용자교육 프로그램의 설계에 있어 토대를 마련하고자 하였다.
Abstract
Recently, Web-based library instruction is incomplete in domestic situation. The purpose of this study is to present the design criteria of web-based library instruction programs. This study draws elements of synthetic criteria that are analyzed by evaluation criteria of web site and web-based library instruction, and compares and analyzes web-based library instruction programs.

이 연구는 현재 운영되고 있는 KOLIS-NET의 두 가지 핵심 시스템인 ‘KOLIS-NET 클라이언트 통합형 시스템’과 ‘KOLIS-NET 일반이용자 검색용 시스템’의 품질 수준을 유용성과 사용성의 평가기준을 적용하여 평가하고 개선과제를 제시한 것이다. ‘KOLIS-NET 클라이언트 통합형’ 시스템의 경우 업무 프로세스별 시스템의 유용성 평가로서, 검색성과 사용 용이성, 사용자 지원성을 주된 평가 항목으로 설정하였으며, 각각의 평가 항목에 대해 연구팀과 실제 업무를 하고 있는 사서들 간의 브레인스토밍 기법과 심층면담 기법을 통해 평가결과를 도출하였다. 한편 ‘일반이용자 검색용 시스템’에 대한 평가는 시스템 사용의 편이성 관점에서 진행되었으며, 다양한 사용성 평가 방법 중에서 인지평가 방법을 사용하였다. 마지막으로 도출된 문제점과 개선 과제를 화면 재설계, 용어 표준화, 기능 개선, 신규 기능의 네 가지로 범주화하여 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to evaluate KOLIS-NET system by usefulness testing of ‘KOLIS-NET client integrated system’ and by usability testing of ‘KOLIS-NET web site’. For evaluating the usefulness of the system, we used searching, ease of use, customer support as criteria, and used brainstorming and in-depth interview as evaluation method. On the other hand, for usability testing of the web site, we used cognitive walkthrough. Evaluation results are categorized and represented as page redesign, term consistency, function improvement and new functionality.

본 연구는 아동용 홈페이지 아이콘의 평가기준을 설정하여 현재 사용하고 있는 9개의 국내외 주요 아동용 홈페이지의 핵심 아이콘 66개를 평가하고 초등학생을 대상으로 이들의 의미 인지도를 조사한 후 이들의 상관관계를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과 아동용 홈 페이지에서 사용되고 있는 아이콘의 문제점과 아동의 인지능력에 적당한 아이콘을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The study examined 131 icons that appeared in major Web sites for the use of children. Out of 131 icons, 66 icons were selected as core icons by calculating the number of their occurrence in the same category. The 66 icons were examined to find out whether they meet the evaluation criteria. And also 66 icons were presented to the children to find out whether they immediately recognize the meaning of each icons. Finally, the study investigated to find out the correlations between the results of evaluations by criteria and the results of the children's recognitions of meaning of each icons. As a results of the study, it presented 16 icons that were proved to be appropriate for the use of children.
