Abstract

With explosive growth in the area of the Internet and IT services, various types of digital contents are generated and circulated, for instance, as converted into digital-typed, secure electronic records or reports, which have high commercial value, e-tickets and so on. However, because those digital contents have commercial value, high-level security should be required for delivery between a consumer and a provider with non face-to-face method in online environment. As a digital contents, an e-ticket is a sort of electronic certificate to assure ticket-holder’s proprietary rights of a real ticket. This paper focuses on e-ticket as a typical digital contents which has real commercial value. For secure delivery and use of digital contents in on/off environment, this paper proposes that 1) how to generate e-tickets in a remote e-ticket server, 2) how to authenticate a user and a smart card holding e-tickets for delivery in online environment, 3) how to save an e-ticket transferred through network into a smart card, 4) how to issue and authenticate e-tickets in offline, and 5) how to collect and discard outdated or used e-tickets.

본 연구는 비디오의 오디오 정보를 추출하여 자동으로 요약하는 알고리즘을 설계하고, 제안된 알고리즘에 의해서 구성한 오디오 요약의 품질을 평가하여 효율적인 비디오 요약의 구현 방안을 제안하였다. 구체적인 연구 결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 먼저, 제안 오디오 요약의 품질이 위치 기반 오디오 요약의 품질 보다 내재적 평가에서 더 우수하게 나타났다. 이용자 평가(외재적 평가)의 요약문 정확도에서는 제안 요약문이 위치 기반 요약문 보다 더 우수한 것으로 나타났지만, 항목 선택에서는 이 두 요약문간의 성능 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이외에 비디오 브라우징을 위한 오디오 요약에 대한 이용자 만족도를 조사하였다. 끝으로 이러한 조사 결과를 기초로 하여 제안된 오디오 요약 기법을 인터넷이나 디지털 도서관에 활용하는 방안들을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The study proposed the algorithm for automatically summarizing the audio information from a video and then conducted an experiment for the evaluation of the audio extraction that was constructed based on the proposed algorithm. The research results showed that first, the recall and precision rates of the proposed method for audio summarization were higher than those of the mechanical method by which audio extraction was constructed based on the sentence location. Second, the proposed method outperformed the mechanical method in summary making tasks, although in the gist recognition task(multiple choice), there is no statistically difference between the proposed and mechanical methods. In addition, the study conducted the participants' satisfaction survey regarding the use of audio extraction for video browsing and also discussed the practical implications of the proposed method in Internet and digital library environments.

본 연구는 온라인목록의 Open API 기반 일반 검색시스템과 온라인목록의 Open API 기반 메타 검색시스템을 구축하고 두 실험시스템의 사용성을 비교 평가하여 온라인목록의 Open API 기반 메타 검색시스템의 유용성을 밝히고자 하였다. 사용성은 전체적으로 온라인목록의 Open API 기반 일반 검색시스템 보다 온라인목록의 Open API 기반 메타 검색시스템이 더 높게 나타났고, 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 국내 도서관들이 인터넷서점, 검색엔진, 웹포털 등에서 공개한 도서검색용 Open API를 통해 제공되는 풍부한 콘텐트를 온라인목록에서 공유하고 활용하면 서지데이터의 확충, 주제접근과 주제검색 능력의 확대, 메타 검색서비스의 확장, 소장도서의 이용가능성 증대, 목록비용의 절감 등에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is aimed to clarify the usefulness of meta search system using Open API of library online catalog by constructing OPAC-based search system using Open API of library online catalog and meta search system using Open API of library online catalog, and comparing the usability of the two experimental search systems. As for usability, on the whole, it was higher in meta search system using Open API of library online catalog than OPAC-based search system using Open API of library online catalog, and there was statistically significant difference. Therefore, if libraries share and use enriched content which is provided through Open API for book search, which is opened by Internet bookstores, search engines and Web portals, it is expected that it will be helpful in enhancing bibliographic data, expanding subject access point, empowering subject search ability, extending meta search service, improving book availability, and reducing catalog cost.

본 연구는 전국적으로 공공도서관 디지털자료실 구축사업이 완료된 이후 약 5년이 경과한 현 시점에서 디지털자료실의 운영 현황을 조사․분석한 결과를 토대로 향후 디지털 자료실의 활성화와 효율적인 운영 방안을 모색해 보았다. 그 결과, 무엇보다도 인프라 측면의 보완 및 개선이 가장 시급한 것으로 드러났다. 또한 공공도서관 디지털자료실의 향후 운영 방안으로는 크게 디지털자료실 통합운영체계 구축과 디지털자료실 기능 다변화를 추진하여야 한다. 먼저 공공도서관 디지털자료실의 운영실태 조사 내용과 활성화 전략을 다각도로 검토한 결과, 현 시점에서는 디지털자료실에서 가능한 부문을 위주로 최대한 통합하여 운영하는 것이 최선의 대안이 될 수 있다. 다음으로 공공도서관 디지털자료실의 기능 다변화는 기존의 디지털자료실 기능에 다양한 유형의 원자료 및 전용 어플리케이션을 활용한 정보의 제작뿐만 아니라 교육 기능, 참고정보서비스 기능, 온라인/오프라인 커뮤니티 형성 및 정보공유 활성화 기능 등을 추가 또는 강화하여 효율적으로 추진할 수 있다. 이를 통해 향후 공공도서관 디지털자료실은 단순한 인터넷 정보의 접근 및 이용을 위한 장소에서 사서와 이용자, 이용자와 이용자간 커뮤니케이션의 활성화는 물론 정보나 지식의 공유 및 협력활동을 위한 온라인/오프라인 공간으로 발전되어야 할 것이다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find methods for utilizing digital room in public library and its efficient operation by analyzing the status quo of the digital rooms in public libraries, which had been built nation-widely about 5 years ago. It is found that it is urgent to supplement and improve the infrastructure of them. It is also required to build multi-functional digital rooms and an integrated operational system for digital rooms. Implementation of an integrated operational system, first of all, for applicable sections of digital room may be the best alternative. The multi-functional digital rooms can be built, which, in addition to its traditional function, can include a variety of original information resources and function of information creation using application programs, as well as functions such as education, information services, online/offline community creation, and activating information sharing. In the future, the digital rooms in public libraries must play a significant role as online/offline spaces, which are not the places for use and access to internet information resource, but for information/knowledge sharing and collaborative activities. It also must provide a communication channel between librarians and users as well as among users themselves.
