초록

문화란 정보사회를 살아가며 누리고 있는 물질적, 정신적 생활양식의 복합체로 볼 수 있다. 즉 어떤 특정지역의 구성원들이 공유하고 있는 습득된 지식, 믿음, 기술, 행동들을 모두 포함하는 생활양식이다. 사람들은 정보와 문화가 새로운 부가가치를 창출하는 시대라고 한다. 이와 같은 두 가지 개념의 공통점은 보이지 않은데 있으며, 인간의 내면의 세계에서 창조되는 것으로 수많은 경험과 체험에서 나온다고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 정보문화가 글로벌화 되고 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 정보문화의 확산을 위해 필요한 이론적 근거로서 사례를 중심으로 정보문화 창조과정의 모형을 제시하고 있다.

Abstract

Information cultural is the compound of the physical and spirit livelihood mode in the knowledge and information age. They are the livelihood mode including obtained knowledge, belief, technology, and behaviour and so on shared members of the special boundary of land. The 21st century called people is the age to create the new added value of information and cultural. Thus information cultural is becoming the global. This study aims to propose model on the information cultural creating processes for information cultural magnification based on theory and the necessaries for the undertaking of a work in the side global.

Abstract

Electronic publishing has influenced, and in some ways changed, information seeking, reading patterns and citation behaviours. This study collected the Cited Half-Lives, the indicator implies the life-span of scholarly journals, from JCR Social Science edition the before and after of the prevalence of electronic journals, and observed if there are some changes in these two periods. The analysis results of eight disciplines show that the average Cited Half-Lives increased in 2007 than in 1994 for seven disciplines except the demography. Especially in the four disciplines of economics, education, finance and sociology, the average Cited Half-Lives increased significantly. This results show that the concentration, researchers cite more recent articles and concentrate their citations on fewer ones, is lightening and the dispersion of citations is actually increasing. With the online availability of articles and journals the old online materials can be often accessed, used and cited more frequently, the more growth potential of Cited Half-Lives are made in a digital environment. Further research needs to investigate if the phenomenon will become more obvious in various disciplines after a few years.

본 연구는 대학의 교수와 학생 이용자가 전통적인 형태의 물리적 도서관과 온라인 정보이용 중심의 디지털 도서관이 혼합된 하이브리드 형태의 도서관 환경에서 대학도서관을 이용하고자 하는 행동 의도 즉, 도서관 이용 의도를 결정하는 요인들과 그 요인들 사이의 구조적 관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 대학의 주요 구성원 그룹이 가지고 있는 대학도서관에 대한 전반적인 인식을 조사하기 위하여 구조화된 설문지를 개발하여 자료를 수집하였고, 도서관 이용 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인들 간의 관계 분석을 위해 사회심리학에서 빈번히 활용되는 행동-태도 이론을 바탕으로 본 연구의 목적에 적합하다고 판단되는 계획행동이론(TPB)과 기술수용모형(TAM)을 기반으로 한 통합모형을 제안하여 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구는 이용환경 변화에 따른 이용자의 도서관 이용에 대한 인식과 이용 의도를 물리적 도서관과 디지털도서관으로 나누어 각각 확인하였고, 이를 바탕으로 향후 도서관의 미래 전략 및 운영 방안에 대해 논의해 보고자 하였다는데 그 의의가 있다고 할 수 있으며, 본 연구의 결과는 대학도서관으로 하여금 변화하는 환경에서 생존하고 균형적인 성장을 이루기 위해서는 인지, 주목, 그리고 협력을 바탕으로 한 효과적이며 효율적인 운영전략을 수립하여야 한다는 점을 주지하고 있다.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors affecting behavioral intention of professors and students at universities to use academic libraries in a hybrid library environment where a traditional physical library is combined with a digital library that is centered on online information use. The structural relationships among factors were also analyzed in this study by utilizing a combined behavioural model which was based on TPB and TAM. This study identified users’ intention to use academic libraries according to changes in the use environment, and the findings of this study bring a valuable meaning to library administrators for setting up the strategic plan for the future of academic libraries. The results of this study imply that academic libraries should strategically setup an effective and efficient operating plan based on awareness, attention and cooperation, in order to survive as well as to accomplish balanced growth in rapidly changing environment.
