본 연구는 정보추구행태 모형을 제시하고 있는 기존 논의들을 대상으로 이들의 연구경향들을 개관하고 분석함으로써 향후 정보추구행태 연구의 방향점을 논의하고자 하는 시도이다. 본 연구에서는 기존논의들을 정보추구행태의 영향요인 모형, 과정모형, 스타일/패턴모형의 3가지 연구유형으로 대별하였으며, 이들 모형들을 방법론/이론적 틀, 정보추구 맥락, 연구대상/주제분야, 모형 특색 등 9가지 측면에서 분석하였다. 기존 연구의 한계를 극복하기 위한 한국적 연구전략은 연구대상의 확대뿐 아니라, 정보추구가 가지는 복잡다양성과 다차원성을 포함하는 총체적인 연구접근이 필요하다. 더불어, 한국적 정보추구 현상을 설명하는 실제에 기반한 이론들을 개발할 필요가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to discuss the direction of studies of information seeking behavior(ISB) by analyzing previous studies provided model of ISB. Studies were divided into 3 types in terms of factors, processes, or types/patterns of ISB and sub-analyzed by 9 aspects such as research method/ theoretical framework, context of ISB and vice versa. Korean research strategies for overcoming the limitation of ISB studies are to do holistic research approach capturing complexity and multidimention of ISB as well as to extend research objects. Also, it needs to construct substantive theories based upon korean phenomenon of ISB.
초록
본 연구에서는 해외 비영리기관의 학술 데이터베이스를 도입하기 위해 학술 데이터베이스 현황을 조사하고 그 품질을 평가한 뒤, 실제적인 도입가능성과 방법을 제시한다. 특히 지금까지 국내에서 공동 활용이 불가능한 비영어권 국가의 해외 비영리기관 소장 학술 데이터베이스를 제공함으로써 기존의 학술 데이터베이스와는 다른 차원의 다양한 유형의 자료 발굴 및 자료 범위 확대를 목적으로 한다. 이러한 목적하에 진행된 본 연구는 지금까지 영리기관의 상용 데이터베이스에 거의 의존해왔던 해외 정보 자료수집과정을 저비용-고효율 구조로 개선시켜, 학술 연구의 생산성을 제고시킬 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to delve into the academic databases of overseas nonprofit organizations, to assess their quality and to discuss whether or not it's possible to introduce them in the nation and in which way that could be done. And it's also attempted to provide information on the academic databases of nonprofit organizations in nonEnglish-speaking countries in a bid to prepare a wide variety of academic materials about broader fields that would be distinguished from those offered by existing academic databases, since it's not currently possible to take advantage of academic materials possessed by such nations. The efforts by this study was expected to gather international information at a lower cost and in a more efficient way and eventually to contribute to improving the productivity of academic research.

이 연구는 보존 기록 자료로서의 우리의 고전 장서를 보다 안전하게 보호하고 연구자나 이용자들에게는 시공을 초월한 열람이 가능토록 하기 위한 디지털 도서관으로서의 방법을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 즉, 우선 동양 전래의 사부 분류법과 현대적인 주제 분류, 그리고 색인어 등을 통해 다양한 접근점을 제공하고, 둘째, MARC나 XML 등을 활용한 DL시스템을 구축하되, 서지적 기술요소를 최대한 확대시키며, 셋째, 쉬운 해제와 색인어로 이용자의 이해를 극대화하고, 마지막으로 원본의 손상을 막기 위해 원문 DB를 구축하여 열람용으로 사용한다. 이는 향후 국내외 한국 고전 관련기관과 협력, 공유할 수 있는 네트워크 체제를 통해 국제적 서지통정으로 발전될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The most of all, this study is planned to search an ideal methods to develop the digital library system for our korean ancient books for their safe preservation and, at the same time, for their perusal of transcendental time and space : first, to offer the various access points like traditional oriental Four parts Classics classification, current subject classification and index keyword, etc. ; second, to program a digital library system using MARC or XML, but with all bibliographic descriptive elements as possible; third, to prepare the more easy annotated bibliography and index for users' better comprehension, and last, to build original text database for practical reading to avoid the damage of original text. This type of korean ancient books digital library will be developed to the real international bibliographic control by networking enter the same kinds of internal and external organizations.
