초록

과학기술 분류표, 시소러스, 용어사전 등의 주요한 색인 및 검색 도구를 한국어, 영어, 일본어의 3개 언어로 통합 구축하고 활용할 수 있도록 다기능, 다국어 과학기술 통합 개념체계의 개발 방안을 마련하였다. 개념을 기본 단위로 시소러스 모델을 개발하였으며, 용어사전 레코드는 ISO 12620 표준에 근거하여 필수요소를 지정하였다. 또한 과학기술분야 표준분류표를 대분류 수준까지 작성하고 기존 분류표와의 매핑 테이블을 작성하여 다른 분류표를 통한 접근이 가능하도록 하였다. 시소러스, 용어사전, 분류표의 원활한 상호 연계와 운용을 위해서 통합 개념체계 모형을 설계하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 통합 개념체계를 이용하여 원자력 분야를 대상으로 한 프로토타입 시스템을 구축하고 실제 검색 사례를 제시하였다.

초록

본 연구는 다양한 유형의 지식을 제공할 수 있는 통합된 지식체계의 구축을 위해 확장된 도서관의 개념으로 접근한 디지털도서관의 통합형 지식관리 방안을 제시하고, 이를 위한 기본적인 프레임워크를 지식펌프형 지식관리 모형으로 구현하였다. 아울러 구현된 모형을 토대로 한 복수사례분석을 통해 디지털도서관의 지식관리 수준을 평가하고 활성화 방안을 제시하였다. 지식펌프는 지식의 적극적인 획득과 배포라는 디지털도서관의 이상적인 역할을 구현한 것이며, 정보기술의 기능적 적용에 머물러 있던 디지털도서관이 지식관리를 통해 그 영역 및 역할을 확장해 나갈 수 있는 논리적 근거와 확장방향은 물론, 실천방법을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Abstract

This study introduces the integration-style knowledge management of digital libraries in extended library concept, for integrated knowledge system which can provide various types of knowledge, and presents the knowledge-pumpknowledge management model. By applying the model to the cases of several institutions, the processes and levels of extension are analyzed, and the important tasks for activating knowledge management are suggested. The knowledge pump embodies ideal roles of the digital libraries that activate the acquisition and distribution of knowledge. It is significant that the digital libraries, which used to remain as a simple application of information technology, not only present logical basis and way for extending their roles and areas. but also explain the implementation methodologies.

초록

본 연구는 근거중심 문헌정보실무의 개념과 연구방법 및 동향을 분석하여 국내 적용가능성을 살펴보기 위한 기초연구로 수행되었다. 근거중심 문헌정보실무는 실무에서 문제해결과 업무수행 향상을 위해 신뢰성 있는 연구 결과의 활용을 촉진함으로써 연구와 실무 간에 근본적으로 존재하는 격차를 줄이기 위한 운동이다. 근거중심 문헌정보실무는 초기에 의학도서관을 중심으로 수행되었으나 점차로 대학, 전문, 학교도서관으로 확대되었으며 연구 주제 또한 이용자연구, 평가에 한정되었던 것이 경영, 장서, 서비스 등 도서관 서비스 전분야로 확대되고 있다. 근거중심 문헌정보실무의 수행은 특정한 문제해결을 위한 다양한 연구 결과의 검색, 선정, 평가, 활용의 과정이 이루어진다. 또한 가장 높은 수준의 연구결과인 비평적 리뷰의 생산과정을 정형화함으로써 기존 연구의 체계적인 평가를 수행함과 동시에 새로운 연구통합 방법을 제시하고 있다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to apply the evidence-based library and information practice(EBLIP) in Korean librarianship with analysis of concepts and research method on EBLIP. EBLIP seeks to improve library practice by utilising the best available evidence in conjunction with a pragmatic perspective developed from working experiences in librarianship. The EBLIP focused on the medicine library, however, it is spread to academic, special, school library. EBLIP process can be described through its five stage: formulate a question, find evidence, critically appraise the evidence, apply results of appraisal, evaluate change, redefine problem. It provides a standardized methodology of systematic review, which is a best evidence in EBLIP and is a new mixed research method.
