본 연구는 기존의 연구성과 분석의 한계를 극복하고 영향력이나 파급효과 등 질적 중심의 연구성과 분석을 위해 텍스트 마이닝, 인용 분석 등을 활용한 새로운 계량정보학적 분석지표를 제안하였다. 즉, 논문품질지수, 인용 영향력지수, 지식확산지수, 국제협력연구지수, 우수논문 생산지수 등 새로운 연구성과 분석지표를 제안하여 질적인 측면을 중심으로 한 연구성과 분석이 가능하도록 하였다. 그리고 제안된 지표를 활용하여 사례분석을 수행하여 그 가능성을 확인하였다.
Abstract
There are some limitations in the existing bibliometric methods to satisfy the various requests of the interest parties including researchers, managers, policy makers to identify 1) which research group or researcher is the key player, and the overall trends of the particular technological sub-fields, 2) which research groups, institutions or countries mainly use their research outputs, 3) what are the spin-offs from research outputs to some scientific and technological fields, 4) in which levels they are when comparing their quantitative and qualitative research outputs to those of other competitive institutions. It is essential to develop new informetric indicators and methodologies in order to satisfy stakeholder's various demands and to strengthen qualitative analysis in measuring research performance. This study suggested informetric indicators such as article quality index, citation impact index, international cooperation index, excellent article production index and methodologies including citation analysis, text mining.

이 연구는 공공기관을 대상으로 한 행정감시자들이 국정감사와 정보공개 청구 등의 설명책임 메커니즘을 통해 공공정보를 추구하는 절차와 그 과정에 영향을 주는 요인들을 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 공공기관에 대해 직업적으로 행정감시 활동을 수행하는 국회의원 보좌관, 시민사회단체 활동가, 언론 기획탐사보도팀의 전문리서처 등의 정보추구자들을 연구대상으로 하여 심층 인터뷰와 참여관찰을 통해 자료를 수집하였고, 근거이론에 따라 자료를 분석하여 행정감시자들의 공공정보 추구절차를 정의하였으며, 추구과정에 연관된 56개의 개념, 17개의 범주, 6개의 상위범주를 도출한 후 각 범주들이 추구과정에 미치는 영향의 범위에 따라 배경요인, 상황요인, 절차 상의 요인으로 구분하였다. 이 연구는 그동안 다뤄지지 않았던 행정감시자의 정보행동모형을 구성했다는 점에서 이론적 공헌이 있으며, 행정감시자의 공공정보 추구과정에서 나타나는 독특한 양상을 질적 자료를 통해 의미있는 개념을 범주화했다는 점에서 방법론적 의의가 있으며, 행정감시자 집단에게 공공정보 추구 전략에 필요한 정보를 제공하고 공공기관에게 행정감시자들의 정보요청에 대응하기 위한 전략 요건의 기초를 제시하고 있다는 점에서 실무적 공헌이 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the information-seeking procedure of surveillants against public sector organizations in Korea. The surveillants used accountability mechanisms such as National Assembly Inspection and information disclosure to find out information they wanted. Examples of such group include social activists, professional supervisors, aides of the National Assembly congressman and the press members. Using data collected by in-depth interviews and participative observations, we studied their information seeking behaviors and factors that affect the procedure. Based on the Grounded Theory approach, we first generated 56 concepts, 17 categories and 6 super-categories about the participants' feeling, experiences and perception related to their information seeking. Then we developed a factor model among those generated concepts. The main contributions of this study are a) the results provide a useful guidance for the public information seekers b) we draw the requirements for enhancing public sector organizations' information management systems

일반적으로 동영상콘텐츠에 대한 탐색과정에서 이용자는 해당 기관 또는 사이트에서 제공하는 간단하게 요약한 요약 동영상과 텍스트 정보를 이용하여 원하는 동영상을 선택한다. 이러한 이용자의 동영상콘텐츠의 탐색과정에서의 정확하고 신속한 동영상콘텐츠의 검색을 위하여 본 연구에서는 동영상을 구성하는 자막과 이미지 정보를 이용하여 동영상을 내용에 따라 여러 개의 클립으로 구분하고, 이용자의 필요에 따라 원하는 클립을 빠르게 검색하여 제공하는 시스템을 제안한다. 동영상콘텐츠 및 관련 메타데이터의 관리 및 제어를 위해서 본 연구에서는 XML 계층구조를 생성하여 저장한다. 한편, 이용자의 검색 요청시 XML을 기반으로 동영상콘텐츠의 계층구조를 반영하는 Xpath를 생성하여 질의처리를 수행함으로써 이용자가 원하는 동영상콘텐츠에 대한 검색결과를 제공한다. 제안된 방법을 기반으로 본 연구에서는 XML 계층구조를 이용한 동영상 검색 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.
Abstract
Generally, a user uses briefly summarized video data and text information to search video contents. To provide fast and accurate search tool for video contents in the process of searching video contents, this study proposes a method to search video clips which was partitioned from video contents. To manage and control video contents and metadata, the proposed method creates structural information based on XML on a video and metadata, and saves the information into XML database. With the saved information, when a user try to search video contents, the results of user's query to retrieve video contents would be provided through creating Xpath which has class structure information. Based on the proposed method, an information retrieval system for video clips was designed and implemented.

도서관계의 상황을 보면 대학도서관, 공공도서관, 전문도서관, 학교도서관 등 매우 다양한 유형의 도서관이 있고, 국가적인 차원 및 상업적인 차원의 정보유통기관이 있으며, 또 이를 지원하는 기관들 즉, 도서관자동화업체, 도서관관련 비품업체, 도서관관련 아웃소싱업체, 각종 데이터베이스 구축업체가 있다. 이러한 상황을 볼 때 문헌정보학을 전공한 사람들의 경력경로는 매우 다양해 질 수 있으며, 이로 인하여 사서인력의 유동성 및 경력이동률은 매우 높을 것이라는 것을 예측할 수 있다. 그러나 현재까지 도서관계의 특성 및 직업적 특성을 감안하여 사서인력의 유동성 실태나 이직률과 이직의 원인 등을 규명하는 연구는 거의 없다고 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 이를 위한 기초연구로 사서인력의 경력이동 및 경력개발 현황에 대해서 조사하고자 하였다. 사서의 경력개발 과정 분석을 통해 도서관계 및 관련분야에서 근무하고 있는 사람들의 직장이동 경로, 경력개발을 위한 노력, 경력이동 요인 등을 파악하고자 하였다.
Abstract
Professions with librarianship can be found in various fields. It includes all different kinds of libraries, including academic, public, special, and school libraries. Moreover, there are national and commercial information distribution bodies, and other bodies supporting the national body such as library automation companies, library supply companies, and library outsourcing companies. Careers of those who have studied in library and information science could be developed in all these fields. High flexibility and labour turnover can be expected due to the wide range of career fields. Nevertheless, there have been very little studies reflecting the reasons of high level of turnovers and flexibility in librarian workforce. Therefore, this paper invastigates career movement and development of librarian as a foundation stone of further researches. It also analyzes career development process of librarians, including career paths of those working in libraries and other related areas, their efforts for career development, factors influencing their career movements.
