주제명은 이용자가 어린이 그림책을 효과적으로 접근하도록 지원한다. 그러나 어린이 그림책은 다른 자료에 비해 표제나 목차와 같이 자료 자체에서 주제명을 선정하기가 어렵다. 또한 텍스트 외에 그림이 주는 정보량이 큰 편이다. 따라서 그림책의 주제접근을 위해서는 별도의 주제명 목록을 작성할 필요가 있다. 그런데 어린이 그림책에 일반 도서용으로 개발된 주제명을 그대로 사용하기는 적절하지 않을 수 있다. 주제명의 유형과 수준이 상이할 수 있기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 어린이 그림책에 적합한 주제명표를 개발하고자 하였다. 기본 주제명의 선정을 위해서는 영미권에서 발행된 그림책 주제명표를 참고하였는데, 이 과정에서 우리 문화와 언어에 맞도록 기존의 표목을 수정․추가하였다. 또한 그림책의 주요 독자층인 어린이에게 적합한 표목을 선정하기 위해 초등국어사전과 같은 참고자료도 활용하였다. 그리고 시범적으로 구축된 주제명표를 어린이 그림책을 대상으로 한 권장도서 목록에 적용하여, 주제검색이나 브라우징, 도서 추천 등에 활용하는 방안을 제시하였다.
Abstract
Subject headings support the effective access of children's picture books. However, it is difficult to select subject terms from titles or table of contents in children's picture books because of their relatively little textual information. Therefore, it is necessary to assign subject terms to each picture book. However, it is not adequate to use general subject headings because the types and levels of general subject headings are different from special subject headings for the children's materials. For this reason, this study aims to develop subject headings for children's picture books. The subject terms in A to Zoo were selected, and the selected terms were translated into Korean and modified for the Korean culture and language. Other reference books, such as Elementary Korean Dictionary, were also used to determine adequate terms for children. The resulting subject headings were assigned to the recommended picture books for children and used to search by subject, browse, and recommend books.

본 연구에서는 국립중앙도서관 링크드 데이터를 대상으로 인물 정보가 표현되고 연계되는 방식을 분석하고, 이를 확장하기 위한 방안을 제안하였다. 분석 결과, 저자로서의 인물 정보는 링크드 데이터에서도 인물을 표현하는 어휘와 연계되어 기술되고 있는 반면에, 주제로 표현된 인물은 개념으로만 취급되고 있었다. 또한 링크드 데이터 구축과정에서 기존의 전거 정보를 변환한 것 외에는 별도의 부가 정보를 추가했는지를 확인할 수 없었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 저자로서의 인물 정보뿐 아니라 주제로서의 인물 정보도 서지 정보에 포함시키고, 저자로서의 인물 정보와 주제로서의 인물 정보를 연계할 때 링크드 데이터의 품질을 제고할 수 있다고 판단하였다. 그리고 이와 더불어 인물과 관련된 부가 링크 정보를 함께 구축하고 이를 활용하여 서지데이터 검색의 접근점을 확장하는 방안도 함께 제안하였다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the methods for representing and linking personal information in the linked data of National Library of Korea and provided suggestions for expanding the scope of identifying and linking of the personal information. As a result, the personal information as a subject has been dealt with a concept, where the personal information as a contributor has been linked with a vocabulary of personal name. In addition, there have not been assured of including additional information except existing authority data in the process of building the linked data. Therefore, this study suggested that linking personal information as a subject and personal information as a contributor was essential for the quality of linked data. In addition, we proposed to provide additional information related to the person in linked data for expanding the scope of access points in information discovery.

국가기록원의 기록정보콘텐츠는 사회적 관심이나 열람 요청이 많은 주제에 대해 신뢰성 있는 기록물을 누구나 쉽게 활용할 수 있도록 정리한 것이다. 그러나 기록정보콘텐츠를 이용하는데 접근성의 어려움, 상세정보부족, 사용 용이성과 흥미 유도성이 낮은 전달방식, 맞춤형 콘텐츠 부족 등의 이슈가 대두되었다. 이에 대한 타개책으로 본 연구에서는 유튜브(YouTube) 채널을 통한 기록정보콘텐츠의 활용방안을 제안한다. 이를 위해 국가기록원 기록정보콘텐츠의 서비스 현황과 문제점을 분석하고, 해외 유사 기관의 영상콘텐츠 활용 현황과 비교․분석하였다. 나아가 구체적인 유튜브 채널을 통한 기록정보콘텐츠 영상화 프로세스를 제안하고 예시를 적용하였다. 이를 통해 국가기록원 기록정보콘텐츠의 인지도와 활용성이 제고되기를 기대한다.
Abstract
The archival contents of the National Archives of Korea are organized so that anyone can easily use the records with a lot of social interest or request for reading. However, there are some problems in accessibility of archival contents, lack of detailed information, difficult to use and less interesting delivery method, and lack of customized content. As an alternative to this, this study proposed the utilization method of the archival contents of the National Archives through YouTube channel. For this purpose, we analyze the status and problems of the archival contents of the National Archives and understand the contents of the YouTube channel of the foreign agencies and the National Archives, and evaluate and compare them. Based on this, we propose and apply the process of the archival contents visualization using YouTube. Through this, We expect that the recognition and usability of the contents information of the National Archives of Records will be improved.
