초록

본 연구는 문헌정보학 분야 연구논문에서 저자들의 이론 활용 정도를 분석하기 위하여 한국문헌정보학회지와 정보관리학회지를 대상으로 지난 30년간 연구된 654편의 논문에 대한 내용분석이 이루어졌다. 주요 연구내용은 연구논문의 연대별 생산성, 세부주제영역별 생산성, 연구에 활용된 이론의 유형과 근원, 개별 이론별 활용도, 세부주제 영역별 활용도, 학회지별 활용도 등에 대한 개념적 연구와 실증적 연구가 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 이론의 개념적 기준 설정과 문헌정보연구의 세부주제영역에 대한 새로운 분류 체계, 특히 이론의 활용성을 평가하기 위한 기준으로 ‘이론 활용 5단계’ 모델을 제시하였다.

Abstract

This study analyzed authorsuse of theory in 654 articles that appeared in two core library and information science journals during last three decades. In order to analyze degree of theory use of LIS, such as, publication productivity, growth and distribution of theory in subfields, name and origin of theory, usability of each theory, subfields and journals, and so on, content analysis of LIS theories was performed through conceptual and empirical study. For the purpose of this study, we suggested a couple of new analytical methods, so called, 'Subfield Classification Scheme' within LIS, and '5 Degrees of Theory Use' model for the first time.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the usability and the value of Web resources as an academic information in writing a paper by citation analysis. In this study each articles from five academic journals in the field of LIS and computers, published from 1999 to 2000, was selected for citation analysis. The result shows that articles in Journal of the Korean Society for Information Management cited the most, and Korea Information Processing Society Review the least, in terms of average number of citing Web resources. In respect of citing rate of Web resources Communications of the Korea Information Science Society was high to 22% of all cited documents, and Journal of the Korean Society for Information Management was the second as high as 18.5%. Articles from selected journals have been increased in citing Web resources form 1999 to 2002. However, Korea Information Processing Society Review appears to be decreased, instead.

본 연구는 정보이용이 학습에 영향을 미치는 과정을 탐구하였다. 특히 정보이용 괴정 중에 활용된 학습자들의 인지기술 분석을 통한 그들의 의미 있는 학습 과정에 초점을 맞추어, 성공적인 정보이용이란 단순한 사실과 개념의 검색이라는 일반적 가정을 넘어서 학습자에게 개인적으로 의미 있는 학습이라 정의한다. 구성주의적 패라다임에 근본을 둔 질적 연구 방법론을 이용한 본 연구는 앤더슨과 크래스울(Anderson and Krathwohl, 2001)이 제시한 개정된 블룸의 택사노미라는 개념적 틀에 기초하여 실제정보이용 환경에서는 어떠한 인지기술이 활용되고 결과물에 반영되는지를 탐구하였다. "설득력 있는 화법(Persuasive Speech)"이라는 영어과 교과 중 하나의 과목의 우등반 학생 21명의 참여로 두 가지 방법론의 혼합적 활용이 - 개념도와 개별 인터뷰 - 제안되어 학습자들의 자연스런 정보 환경 속에서 시도되었다. 연구 결과는 학생들이 정보이용 과정 중에 네 가지 패턴의 변환을 거치면서 개정된 블룸의 택사노미에 제시된 모든 단계의 학습에 필요한 인지기술의 활용이 발견이 되었고 특히 풍부한 정보 환경에서는 고급 학습단계의 인지기술의 활용이 중요하다는 것이 밝혀졌다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how information use contributes to learning. Conducted as part of a larger study. this study focuses on learning by analyzing students' use of cognitive skills during the process of using information. Within the broad methodological framework of qualitative research in constructivist paradigm (Guba and Lincoln. 1998), the study applied the revised Bloom's taxonomy (Anderson and Krathwohl, 2000) as a particular framework to understand the phenomenon. Participants included 21 high school juniors in an honors' class of persuasive speech. The study's combinational use of two techniques concept mapping and individual interview - in a naturalistic setting proved to be the unique methods for researching the reflection of information use in learning products. The results revealed that changes in students' understanding occured in four types - simple, analytic, organizational, and holistic changes. The analysis using the revised Bloom's taxonomy showed that a variety of cognitive skills were used during the whole process of information use and that the use of higher levels of cognitive skills is particularly crucial. 정보기술의 급격한 발전은 이용 가능한 정보량의 급증 뿐 만 아니라 정보의 형태에 있어서도 다양화를 가져왔다. 정보이용능력은 정보를 검색하고, 분석하고 이용하는데 필요한 기술이다. 이는 대학교육의 핵심 목표이자 도서관 교육의 새로운 경향으로 인식되고 있다. 그러나 급증하는 정보이용능력에 관한 관심에도 불구하고, 교육 프로그램이나 교수-사서간의 협력에 관한 논의는 부족한 실정이다. 도서관 교육이 교과과정의 일부가 되기 위해서는 대학구성원간의 긴밀한 협력이 반드시 필요하다. 본 연구는 외국 대학도서관에서 채택하고 있는 정보이용능력 교육 프로그램을 개관하고, 대학구성원간 협력에 있어 성공사례를 분석해보았다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 우리나라 대학에서 정보이용능력 교육의 시행에 필요한 절차의 개요를 제시해보았다

Abstract

The rapid advances in information technologies have resulted in not only the proliferation of the amount of information available but also the variety of information formats. Information literacy is the set of skills needed to find, retrieve, analyze, and use information. Therefore, information literacy which should be the core goal of the university education has been a new trend of the library instruction. Nevertheless, despite the increasing Interest in the information literacy. there has been little discussion about educational Programs. and there has been little coordination between faculty and librarians on the programs. Under such circumstances, campus-wide teamwork is needed so that the library instruction can become part of the entire learning Processes of university education. This Paper presents an overview of the models adopted by foreign university libraries and also analyses the successful cases of the campus-wide partnership of each model of information literacy programs. Based on these. the outline of the needed procedure for the enforcement of the information literacy in the university of our country is suggested.

학술 연구정보의 지식활용을 위한 노력으로 국내 환경공학 R&D 정보의 지식전환 가능성을 조사하였고 그 가능성에 따라 지식관리시스템 개발을 위한 고려사항과 접근법을 제시하였다. 연구범위는 정보자원자체의 현황 정보 기술 인프라, 지식기반, 그리고 지식활용 영역의 4개영역으로 구성되었고 각 영역은 세부항목으로 구분되어 총 103개 지식관리시스템의 전환가능성이 조사, 분석되었다. 진단된 결과를 중심으로 연구소 연계 프로젝트의 공동작업을 수행하고 그 진행에 따라 발생하는 연구과 정상의 문제해결과 지식전환 시에 예상 가능한 시행착오를 최소화하는 프로세스 중심의 지식관리시 스템 개발방안을 제시하였다.

Abstract

This article surveyed the current situation of domestic R&D information system and investigated the possibility of knowledge-transformation for KMS. Four major requirements of the transformation were analyzed by applying evaluation index tool which was integrated and refined from the existed indices. and a process-oriented project approach was suggested with some practical implications for development of KMS

본 연구는 정보기술의 발전과 사용자 중심의 개발환경으로 인해 변화된 정보환경 속에서 정보센터의 새로운 방향 설정을 위해 정보센터의 관리 특성요인과 사용자의 만족도를 중심으로 그 상관관계를 살펴보았다. 본 연구가설의 검증을 위해 서로 다른 정보센터를 활용하고 있는 41명의 사용자로부터 설문을 받아 활용하였다. 조직의 정보서비스에 대한 사용자의 만족도 향상에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악된 정보센터와 관련된 활동들을 살펴봄으로써 최근의 사용자 중심의 정보환경 속에서 새롭게 고려되어야 할 사항들에 대해 논의하였다. 본 연구결과는 시스템측면에서 새롭게 변한 정보센터가 사용자들에 대한 서비스활동의 강화를 위해 고려해야 할 사항에 대한 식견을 제공할 것으로 사료되어진다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the new roles and services of information center that is affected by changing information technology and end-user computing environment. A user satisfaction model has been used and hypotheses are developed to find relationships information center service evaluation factors. The hypotheses have been tested with 41 user surveys. This study presents the relationship between certain information center management variables and the end-user satisfaction applying organization-wide information service. The result of this research can give an insight of the evaluation of information center service activities.

인터넷시대가 되면서 정보량이 기하급수적으로 증가하였으며, 도서관 소장 자료 중 전자형태의 자료가 차지하는 비중이 점차 증가함에 따라 최신 정보자료의 신속한 입수 및 활용이 그 어느 때보다 중요시 되는 시기가 되었다. 디지털 도서관에서 이러한 요구를 충족시킬 수 있도록 최신 정보자료를 신속하고 정확하게 최종 이용자에게 제공할 수 있는 방법 중의 하나가 SDI서비스라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 웹의 등장으로 중요성이 부각된 SDI 서비스의 국내 대학에서의 활용 현황을 설문조사를 통하여 조사 분석하고, 개선방안 및 정보서비스 제공범위 확대 방안을 제시하고자 하였다.

Abstract

As commercialization of the Internet has brought flood of information and the proportion of electronic source in the library collection has been gradually increasing, it is highly important for the library to quickly obtain and utilize the latest information. SDI service is expected to fulfill the needs providing the latest information swiftly and accurately to the digital library users. This study seeks to analyze the current standing of practical application of the SDI service in the universities of South Korea based on surveys and make a proposal on the advancement and extension of the SDI service.

최근 정보기술 및 인터넷의 급속한 발전으로 지식정보 자원들이 디지털화 되어 인터넷을 통해 유통되고 있으나, 디지털콘텐츠의 위치, 내용 변경 등으로 인해 이용자 접근 및 이용에 문제가 발생하고 있으므로 표준 식별체계를 활용한 디지털콘텐츠의 식별 및 유통 방안의연구가 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 디지털콘텐츠의 효율적인 관리와 안전한 유통을 위한식별체계 기반의 정보유통체제 구축에 기여하는데 있다. 이에 본 연구는 식별체계 개요, 활용사례, 유통모델의 조사와 정보유통 현황을 분석하고, KISTI 고유식별체계, 식별시스템 및 유통시스템 구축 방안 등을 제시하고 있다.

Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology and internet in these days, resources of knowledge information have been digitalized and distributed on the internet. However, the location of digital content and a change of content have generated problems for users access and services. In line with this regard, the research on the identification of digital content utilizing standardized identification system and distribution system is necessary. This study intends to contribute to the implementation of information system based on standard digital identifier for the effective management and safe distribution of digital contents. This study first tries to survey SDI outline, practical application case and distributed business model and to analyze information distribution status. Finally, this study tries to draw up a plan for the establishment of KISTI's SDl. content identification system, content distribution system.

본 연구에서는 웹기반 정보검색시스템을 사용함에 있어 이용자 편의성을 최적화할 수 있는 검색 인터페이스 표준 용어를 제안하였다. 이를 위해 국립중앙도서관을 비롯하여 주요 전문 정보를 제공하고 있는 기관의 웹페이지를 조사. 분석하였다. 분석한 결과에 근거하여 웹기반 정보검색시스템에서 사용자 오류와 혼란을 최소화하고 검색 편의성을 극대화할 수 있는 표준 용어를 제안하였다. 제안의 기준은 해당 용어의 사용빈도와 의미를 활용하였다. 분석은 검색관련 기본 모듈을 비롯하여 검색범위설정 모듈, 이용자 지원 모듈에서 사용된 용어 가운대 최소 50%이상의 기관에서 제공하는 기능에 존재하는 용어만을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 웹 기반 검색화면 설계 및 구축 전문가에게 검색 관련 용어선정을 위한 표준 자료로 활용될 것이다.

Abstract

This research suggesrs the method of standardizing terms for raising the dffectiveness of information retrival. Especiallly for web search, I propose the proper terms which they will use in retriveal by surveying and analysing the related terms abour information retrieval interface. The proper terms will solve the eqyivocaiton for user and increase the retrieval effectiveness. And I think the proposed terms will be used to standard data for designers who are construct the user interface systems.

정보시스템의 최근 개발 경향은 이용자 중심이다. 이 연구는 이용자 중심적 PDL을 개발할 때 실질적으로 활용할 수 있는 실험적 모형을 제시하였다. 개념적 모형에서는 다양한 정보입수를 위한 외부시스템과의 연계 및 시스템전반에 개인의 정신모형과 함께하는 관리형태를 가질 수 있는 모형을 제시하였고, 물리적 모형에서는 연구자의 개발경험을 토대로 툴의 기능을 최대한 활용하였으며, 시스템개발에 곧 바로 적용할 수 있는 과정까지를 진행하였다.

Abstract

THe most significant part of this study is in developing an experimental model of user-friendly PDL. This study proposes both theoretical(conceptual) and physical(operational) mocels. The thepretical model includes the analysis on various factors and the relationships among factors which have a serious impacts on the design, building, and managing of PDL. And the physical model shows the detailed structure and process which could be useful for both PDL designers and managers. also provided is the images of mahor user interfaces, of which a PDL would be developed on the basis of the basis of the proposed mocel in near future.
