본 연구는 정규 과목으로서 정보이용교육을 수강하는 대학생들을 대상으로 이들의 컴퓨터활용능력과 도서관 관련 지식이 이용빈도와 정보활용능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 조사하고, 이용빈도와 정보활용능력은 어떠한 상관관계가 있는지를 분석하여 보다 나은 정보이용교육의 수업 방향을 제시하고자 함을 목적으로 하였다. 서울경기지역 소재 7개 대학의 8개 수업 수강생들을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며, 가설검증을 통해 변인들의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 정보이용교육의 중요성에 대한 대학당국의 인식과 더불어 향후의 정보이용교육은 도서관자료를 이용한 학술정보활용 중심으로 이루어져야 할 것임을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to reveal how undergraduate students' computer literacy and library knowledge can affect their frequency of library material use and information literacy, and analyze the correlations between frequency of library material use and information literacy. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to students of 7 universities in 8 credit-given user education courses, and correlations with variables were analyzed through hypothesis testing. It was suggested that with strong support of university administration, user education should be taught by using more of scholarly library material.
초록
전자정보가 일반화되면서 전자정보 사용에 대한 이해가 절실해졌다. 본 논문은 전자정보의 이용통계가 무엇인지, 이 통계가 도서관 의사결정에 어떻게 사용될 수 있는지 그리고 데이터의 수집, 처리 및 분석과 관련된 제반 사항에 대해 기술하고 있다. 또한 이용통계와 관련된 대표적인 표준을 제시한다. 전자정보 이용 통계는 개별 도서관에서 활용하는 자료가 될 뿐 아니라 문헌정보학의 여러 분야에서 활용될 수 있는 연구 자료가 된다는 측면에서 이용통계를 사용하는 구체적인 연구방향을 제시하고 있다.
Abstract
As the use of electronic information sources becomes increasingly common, the need for understanding their use becomes critical. This paper describes what usage statistics of electronic materials entail, how they can be used for a variety of library decision making, and the process in which the data can be best acquired, processed, analyzed and presented. It also offers a general introduction to on-going standardization efforts related to usage statistics of electronic resources and services. Some of the research opportunities that these newly developed data sources present to library and information science field are identified.

도서관 상호대차에 의한 원문복사서비스는 정보를 공동 이용하여 이용자의 정보요구를 충족시켜 주기 위한 진보된 형태의 서비스이다. 현재 상호대차에 의한 원문복사서비스의 면책 적용에 관해서는 해석이 분분하다. 본 연구의 목적은 Fax 및 Ariel 시스템을 이용한 원문복사의 저작권 문제에 관한 법적 해결 방안을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 상호대차에 의한 원문복사서비스에 관한 국제적인 면책 적용의 동향을 검토하였다. 우리 현행저작권법에 입각한 원문복사서비스의 면책 적용에 대한 해석들을 분석하였고 문제점을 지적하였다. 이러한 분석 결과를 기초로 하여, 원문복사서비스와 관련한 현행 저작권법상의 도서관 면책 규정의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 법적 개정방안과 그 조문을 구체적으로 제시하였다. 따라서 본 연구가 제시한 법적 개정 방안은 2005년 또는 향후 도서관 면책 규정의 개정을 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The document delivery service is an advanced service to satisfy information need of end-user by the cooperative utilization of information. At present there are various interpretation on library exemption of the document delivery service by interlibrary loan. The purpose of the study is to suggest a legal plan in order to solve the problems of library exemption dealing with the document delivery service by Fax and Ariel system. The study examined the international trends on library exemption related to the document delivery service in foreign copyright laws, analyzed the library exemption related to the document delivery service in the present Korean copyright law, and pointed out the problems of the present library exemption. As the result of this analysis, the study suggested a revised plan of the present Korean copyright law in order to provide regulation of library exemption dealing with the document delivery service by interlibrary loan. Thus the revised plan can be used as a basic data for providing the regulation for the future of library exemption in Korea.

이 연구는 보존 기록 자료로서의 우리의 고전 장서를 보다 안전하게 보호하고 연구자나 이용자들에게는 시공을 초월한 열람이 가능토록 하기 위한 디지털 도서관으로서의 방법을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 즉, 우선 동양 전래의 사부 분류법과 현대적인 주제 분류, 그리고 색인어 등을 통해 다양한 접근점을 제공하고, 둘째, MARC나 XML 등을 활용한 DL시스템을 구축하되, 서지적 기술요소를 최대한 확대시키며, 셋째, 쉬운 해제와 색인어로 이용자의 이해를 극대화하고, 마지막으로 원본의 손상을 막기 위해 원문 DB를 구축하여 열람용으로 사용한다. 이는 향후 국내외 한국 고전 관련기관과 협력, 공유할 수 있는 네트워크 체제를 통해 국제적 서지통정으로 발전될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The most of all, this study is planned to search an ideal methods to develop the digital library system for our korean ancient books for their safe preservation and, at the same time, for their perusal of transcendental time and space : first, to offer the various access points like traditional oriental Four parts Classics classification, current subject classification and index keyword, etc. ; second, to program a digital library system using MARC or XML, but with all bibliographic descriptive elements as possible; third, to prepare the more easy annotated bibliography and index for users' better comprehension, and last, to build original text database for practical reading to avoid the damage of original text. This type of korean ancient books digital library will be developed to the real international bibliographic control by networking enter the same kinds of internal and external organizations.

본 연구는 보다 효율적인 정보서비스를 위한 주제화 모형을 개발하고자 하였다. 연구의 결과 및 제시한 주제화 모형의 구성과 특징을 요약하면 다음과 같다.첫째, 대학도서관의 운영 패러다임은 논리성보다는 실용성이 강조되고 있다. 따라서, 대학도서관의 효율적인 공간 활용, 장서 구분 및 서비스를 위해서는 ‘주제화’가 가장 바람직하다.주제화를 적용하기 위해서는 이에 대한 해결이 선행되어야 한다.셋째, 대학도서관의 효율적인 정보서비스를 위한 주제화 모형으로는 ‘광역형 주제화 모형’을 제시할 수 있다. 1) 광역형 주제화의 공간모형은 중앙도서관의 경우 대학생을 위한 ‘학부전용도서관’으로 운영하고, 각각의 주제도서관은 연구를 위주로 하는 교수와 대학원생을 위한 ‘연구도서관’으로 운영하는 방안이다. 2) 광역형 주제화의 장서 모형은 중앙도서관(학부전용도서관)의 경우 학부생들의 과제 및 학습관련 자료를 제공하고, 각각의 주제도서관은 연구를 위한 서지 및 정보제공에 치중하는 방안이다. 기능적 업무담당사서를 배치하고, 주제도서관은 주제담당사서와 기능적 업무담당사서 그리고 주제와 연관이 있는 학과의 대학원생을 조교나 보조학생으로 확보해 서비스를 주제별과 이용자별로 차별화하는 방안이다.

Second, the necessity of adopting subject divisional plan is to secure enough subject librarians and large space. These necessities must be fulfiled prior to adopting th e subject divisional plan. rvice of university library is 'wide-area subject divisional plan model'.1) In the case of central library, the space model of wide-area subject divisional plan is programed as undergraduate library for the undergraduate students. And each subject libraries is operated as research 2) In central library, the collection model of wide-area subjec t divisional plan is practiced as ofering reference and general education centered data for undergraduate students' study.
