본 연구는 독서공간으로서의 학교도서관에 주목하고 독서를 위한 학교도서관 이용 시 공간특성 요소에 대한 중학생 이용자의 인식을 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 선행연구와 예비 연구를 통해 공간특성 요소를 선정하고 각 공간특성 요소에 대해 학생들이 중요하게 생각하는 정도와 충족하는 정도를 살펴보고자 하였다. 그리고 이용자의 인식이 이용현황 및 학교도서관 독서활동 경험에 따라 차이가 있는지 살펴보았으며, 학교도서관 이용자 만족도와 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는지 파악하였다. 더불어 공간특성 요소의 인식이 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는데 있어 학교도서관 이용자 만족도가 매개 역할을 하는지 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 중학교 4곳에 재학 중인 342명의 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 공간특성 요소 중 소통성, 다양성, 안전성, 편의성에 대한 이용자의 인식이 이용현황에 따라 차이를 보였으며, 소통성, 쾌적성, 분위기가 이용자 만족도에, 심미성과 소통성이 지속이용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이 중 소통성, 쾌적성, 분위기는 학교도서관 이용자 만족도를 매개하여 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 독서를 위한 공간으로서 학교도서관을 조사함으로써 학생들의 독서 지원을 위한 방안을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다.
Abstract
This study aims to understand students’ perceptions of the spatial characteristics of school libraries when they use them for reading. We selected a set of spatial characteristics by reviewing the literature and conducting a preliminary investigation. Then, we examined how students perceived the importance of and how satisfied they were with each characteristic. In addition, we investigated how students’ perceptions differ by the library uses and reading-related activities. We also studied whether the satisfaction of school library users affects their continued use of the libraries. We also verified whether school library user satisfaction is an intervening variable in continued-use intention, which is affected by spatial characteristics perception. We conducted a survey of 342 students from four middle schools. The analysis of the survey outcomes shows differences in library use due to spatial characteristics such as convenience, communicability, diversity, and safety. Factors such as communicability, comfortability, and ambience affected user satisfaction positively. Both aesthetics and communicability also positively influenced the continued-use intention. Furthermore, we identified that communicability, comfortability, and ambience eventually impacted the continued-use intention via user satisfaction, an intervening variable. The significance of this study is that it considered the direction of the school library to support students’ reading by regarding the school library as a space for reading.

본 연구의 목적은 아파트 단지 내 작은도서관에서의 자원봉사활동 경험이 지역공동체 의식 형성에 기여하게 되는 과정을 질적분석을 통해 알아보는 데 있다. 연구목적 달성을 위해 D 광역시 DS 구에 있는 5개 아파트 도서관에서 자원봉사활동을 하고 있는 33명의 봉사자와 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 분석결과 자원봉사활동의 시작은 본인이 도서관의 주 이용자가 되어서 도서관을 통해 긍정적 경험을 하고 동시에 도서관에 대한 문제점을 인식하면서인 것으로 나타났다. 자원봉사활동을 통해 그들은 지역주민들과 더욱 활발히 소통하게 되고 도서관이라는 공간을 함께하는 공간으로 인식하게 되며, 이러한 인식을 통해 자원봉사활동경험은 지역에 대한 공동체 의식을 형성하는데 기여하는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of volunteering experience at a small library in an apartment complex on the formation of a sense of community through a qualitative method. To achieve the study purpose, thirty-three volunteers from five small libraries in an apartment complex in DS-gu at D Metropolitan City were interviewed. According to the study results, they started volunteering at the libraries as a main user of the libraries. Through the volunteering experience, they had positive feelings about the libraries and were aware of the problems with the libraries. Furthermore, the volunteering experience facilitated communication among the residents of the apartment and they recognized the libraries as a shared community space. Finally, through the above processes, the volunteering experience contributes to formimg a sense of community.

본 연구는 여성의 건강과 밀접한 관련이 있는 모바일 월경주기 측정 애플리케이션을 대상으로 토픽모델링 기법과 함께 다양한 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 도입하여 사용자 경험 평가를 실시하였으며 그 결과를 허니콤(Honeycomb)모델과 결합하여 분석하였다. 월경주기측정 애플리케이션 리뷰에서 드러난 사용자 경험을 평가하기 위해 월경주기측정 애플리케이션의 한국어 리뷰 47,117개를 수집하였다. 리뷰에서 드러난 사용자 경험에 관한 전체적인 담론 확인을 위해 토픽모델링 분석을 실시하였고, 각 토픽 별 구체적인 경험을 확인하고자 동시출현 네트워크 관계로 구축한 텍스트 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 또한 사용자의 정서적 경험을 파악하기 위해 감정분석(Sentiment Analysis)을 실시하였다. 이를 기반으로 월경주기측정 애플리케이션의 개발 전략을 정확도, 디자인, 모니터링, 데이터관리 및 사용자관리 측면에서 제시하였다. 연구 결과, 애플리케이션의 월경주기측정 정확도 및 모니터링 기능을 개선해야 함이 확인되었으며 다양한 디자인적 시도가 필요함이 관찰되었다. 또한 개인정보와 사용자의 생체 데이터 관리방법에 대한 보완의 필요성도 확인되었다. 본 연구는 월경주기측정 애플리케이션의 사용자 경험(UX)을 심층적으로 탐색하여 이용자들이 경험한 다양한 요인을 밝히고 더 나은 경험을 제공하기 위한 실질적인 개선점을 제시하였다. 또한 사용자 경험을 평가하는 과정에서 방대한 양의 리뷰 데이터를 연구자가 면밀하게 파악할 수 있도록 토픽모델링과 텍스트 네트워크 분석 기법을 결합하여 방법론을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study conducted user experience evaluation by introducing various text mining techniques along with topic modeling techniques for mobile menstrual cycle measurement applications that are closely related to women’s health and analyzed the results by combining them with a honeycomb model. To evaluate the user experience revealed in the menstrual cycle measurement application review, 47,117 Korean reviews of the menstrual cycle measurement application were collected. Topic modeling analysis was conducted to confirm the overall discourse on the user experience revealed in the review, and text network analysis was conducted to confirm the specific experience of each topic. In addition, sentimental analysis was conducted to understand the emotional experience of users. Based on this, the development strategy of the menstrual cycle measurement application was presented in terms of accuracy, design, monitoring, data management, and user management. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that the accuracy and monitoring function of the menstrual cycle measurement of the application should be improved, and it was observed that various design attempts were required. In addition, the necessity of supplementing personal information and the user’s biometric data management method was also confirmed. By exploring the user experience (UX) of the menstrual cycle measurement application in-depth, this study revealed various factors experienced by users and suggested practical improvements to provide a better experience. It is also significant in that it presents a methodology by combines topic modeling and text network analysis techniques so that researchers can closely grasp vast amounts of review data in the process of evaluating user experiences.

본 연구는 전자책 이용률이 높은 디지털 네이티브 세대인 20대를 대상으로 전자책 구독서비스에 대한 인식을 파악하고자 하였다. 설문조사와 사용성 평가(usability testing)를 병행한 혼합연구 방법을 통해 전자책 이용률이 높은 20대 대학생의 전자책 구독 서비스이용 실태 및 서비스에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 설문조사를 통해 국내 대학생 202명의 의견을 수집하였고, 전자책 비이용자와 이용자를 구분하여 분석하였다. 설문 결과, 비이용자와 이용자 간의 전자책에 인식의 차이가 나타났으며, 휴대성 및 편의성은 두 연구 참여자 그룹에게 공통적으로 나타나는 전자책의 장점으로 조사되었다. 사용성 평가에서 사용된 ‘밀리의 서재’ 애플리케이션은 가장 대중적인 전자책 플랫폼으로 해당 서비스를 활용하여 전자책 이용 경험이 없는 20대 대학생 10명을 대상으로 평가가 진행되었다. 실험 결과, 연구 참여자들은 전자책의 편의성, 디자인, 다양한 부가 기능, 가성비 등에 대해 긍정적인 반응을 보인 반면, 흥미 부족, 기능 실용성, 터치 오류 및 오작동, 장서 부족, 시스템 문제에 대해서는 부정적인 의견을 나타냈다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to assess the perception of e-book subscription services among the digitally native generation in their twenties, who have a high e-book usage rate. This study employed a mixed-methods approach, combining survey responses and usability testing. It aimed to assess the awareness and usage of e-book subscription services among university students in their twenties, a demographic known for their high utilization of electronic devices and e-books. The survey was conducted among 202 university students, and the responses were categorized and examined based on whether they were users or non-users. As a result of the survey, I found there is different awareness of e-book between users and non-users, on the other hand, convenience and portability are the strong point of e-books for users and non-users commonly also. Usability testing was performed on a group of 10 university students in their twenties who had not previously used the ‘Millies Library’ application, which is renowned as the most widely-used e-book platform. Following the experiment, participants expressed positive feedback regarding various optional features, convenience, design, and cost-effectiveness. However, they also had negative reactions concerning touch errors, malfunctions, functional practicality, a lack of interest, system issues, and the absence of a library.
