웹을 통해 제공되는 뉴스 페이지의 경우 필요한 정보 뿐 아니라 많은 불필요한 정보를 담고 있다. 이러한 불필요한 정보는 뉴스를 처리하는 시스템의 성능 저하와 비효율성을 가져온다. 이 연구에서는 웹 페이지로부터 뉴스 콘텐츠를 추출하기 위해 문장과 블록에 기반한 뉴스 기사 추출 방법을 제시하였다. 또한 이들을 결합하여 최적의 성능을 가져올 수 있는 방안을 모색하였다. 실험 결과, 웹 페이지에 대해 하이퍼링크 텍스트를 제거한 후 문장을 이용한 추출 방법을 적용하였을 때 효과적이었으며, 여기에 블록을 이용한 추출 방법과 결합하였을 때 더 좋은 결과를 가져왔다. 문장을 이용한 추출 방법은 추출 재현율을 높여주는 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The news pages provided through the web contain unnecessary information. This causes low performance and inefficiency of the news processing system. In this study, news content extraction methods, which are based on sentence identification and block-level tags news web pages, was suggested. To obtain optimal performance, combinations of these methods were applied. The results showed good performance when using an extraction method which applied the sentence identification and eliminated hyperlink text from web pages. Moreover, this method showed better results when combined with the extraction method which used block-level. Extraction methods, which used sentence identification, were effective for raising the extraction recall ratio.

학술적 웹 공간을 대상으로 하는 연구는 페이지와 링크의 역동성 때문에 정량적인 방법과 함께 내용 분석 등의 정성적인 방법을 사용하는 것이 필요하다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 내용 분석의 한 방법으로 한국 학술적 웹 공간 내에서 외부 링크로 연결된 페이지 및 링크의 유형을 분류한 후 이를 네트워크 구조 분석에 반영하여 한국 학술적 웹 공간의 특성을 자세히 살펴보았다. 분석 결과 데이터의 수집 시점을 나타내는 기본 네트워크와 내용 분석 시점을 나타내는 활성 네트워크 사이에 구조적으로 큰 차이가 없었으나, 기관 유형별로 다른 기관들을 링크하는 목적이 다르게 나타났다. 그리고 한국 학술적 웹 공간은 여러 중앙성 지수들과 결속계수 간의 설명력이 유사하게 나타나는 형태의 네트워크임을 확인하였다.
Abstract
Since the Web is dynamic, it is necessary to analyze scholarly Web space with both quantitative and qualitative methods for better understanding of communication characteristics. In this study, we analyzed contents of pages and links to ascertain the characteristics of Korean scholarly Web space in terms of network structure and communication behavior. The result shows that the structure of the original network with all the external links remained is not much different from that of the network with activated external links only. However, the purposes of linking vary among scholarly institutions. The centrality measures correlate more strongly with the clustering coefficient than with the constraint index implying the similar explanatory power of the two types of structural indices.

본 논문은 정보검색 시스템의 사용자 질의어와 색인에 기반한 검색 과정에서 나타나는 중의성 해소를 위해 질의어 의미정보와 사용자 피드백을 사용하여 검색 성능을 향상시키는 방법을 소개한다. 의미 정보를 이용하여 질의어의 중의성을 해소하는 검색 과정은 검색 결과로서 의미적으로 무관한 많은 문서들을 배제할 수 있다. 이를 위해 검색의 색인이 되는 명사 중심의 의미범주를 기반으로 의미정보 지식베이스를 구축하고, 검색 문서들을 색인어와 해당 의미범주로 분류한다. 검색 과정에서는 사용자의 질의 의미 선택과 정답 문서에 대한 참조 행위를 웹 페이지의 순위 결정에 반영하여 검색 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다.
Abstract
This paper proposes a technique for improving performance using word senses and user feedback in web information retrieval, compared with the retrieval based on ambiguous user query and index. Disambiguation using query word senses can eliminating the irrelevant pages from the search result. According to semantic categories of nouns which are used as index for retrieval, we build the word sense knowledge-base and categorize the web pages. It can improve the precision of retrieval system with user feedback deciding the query sense and information seeking behavior to pages.

본 연구에서는 교육 도구로써 위키의 가능성을 탐색하기 위해서, 위키 환경인 구글 사이트에서 협력학습 기반 그룹 프로젝트를 수행하는 학습자들의 행태와 인식을 조사하였다. 이를 위해 파일 업로드, 웹 페이지 사용, 댓글, 네비게이션 바와 관련된 개별 학습자 및 그룹별 형태 분석과 구글 사이트 사용에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과를 토대로 구글 사이트를 활용한 학습자들의 협력학습 기반 그룹 프로젝트 활동의 특징을 논의하였다. 또한 협력학습의 교육적 효과성과 학습활동 진행 과정 평가의 용이성을 증대시키기 위하여 위키 환경 시스템이 어떻게 개선되어야 하는지를 제시하였다.
Abstract
The study aims at investigating students' behaviors and perceptions regarding the collaborative learning based group project using the wiki environment. The study utilized Google Sites as a case, and analyzed file unloads, the use of web pages, navigation bars, and comments as well as surveys. The study discusses main characteristics of students' activities in the collaborative learning group project, which are drawn from the analysis of students' behaviors and perceptions. The study also provides implications for improvement of wiki environment to support collaborative learning in education.
