본 연구에서는 전문도서관 사서를 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 대내․외 환경변화와 정책적 지원방안에 따라 업무영역에 미치는 영향력을 분석하고, 설문조사 결과에서 분석된 현장사서들의 인식조사 결과를 토대로 전문도서관 발전에 영향을 미치는 요인과 이에 따른 정책적 제안을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 개별 기관 내 도서관 위상 역할에 대한 인식에서는 도서관 발전계획 중요도에서 부정적인 의견이 58.3%, 도서관으로서 본연의 역할 수행여부에 대해서는 긍정적인 인식을 하는 것을 확인할 수가 있었다. 둘째, 전문도서관의 위상을 높이기 위해서는 주요 기능과 역할의 중요성을 인식하여 학술연구활동에 대한 인식이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 도서관발전종합계획 중 전문도서관 및 운영평가 인식에서는 국가 공공 정보의 대국민 서비스 확대에 대해 가장 높게 인식하고 있었다. 또한 5년간 발전전략 중 우선 시행되어야 할 정책으로는 전문도서관 현황 갱신 및 조사를 위한 시스템 구축을 선호하는 것을 확인할 수가 있었다. 넷째, 도서관 운영평가 참여율 제고를 위한 효과적인 대안 및 개선지표에 대해 분석한 결과, 공기업 평가 항목에서 “기관 도서관 운영 평가” 항목의 가중치 부여가 평균 4.01로 가장 높게 나타났다. 따라서, 전문도서관 발전을 위해서는 현재 전문도서관의 현황을 종합적으로 파악할 수 있는 체계를 구축하고 적극적인 학술 연구를 지원하는 것이 가장 시급할 것으로 파악되었다
Abstract
In this study, a survey was conducted targeting specialized librarians, and the impact on the work area according to changes in the internal and external environment and policy support measures was analyzed. In this study, we tried to derive factors that affect library development and policy suggestions accordingly. As a result of the study, first, it was confirmed that 58.3% of the negative opinions in terms of the importance of library development plans were positive in recognition of the role of library status within individual institutions. Second, in order to increase the status of specialized libraries, it was found that awareness of academic research activities was necessary by recognizing the importance of major functions and roles. Third, among the comprehensive library development plans, the recognition of specialized libraries and operational evaluation was the highest in recognition of the expansion of national public information services to the public. In addition, it was confirmed that among the five-year development strategies, the policy that should be implemented first is the preference for updating the status of specialized libraries and establishing a system for investigation. Fourth, as a result of analyzing effective alternatives and improvement indicators to increase the participation rate in library operation evaluation, the weighting of the “institutional library operation evaluation” item in the evaluation item of public enterprises was the highest at 4.01 on average. Therefore, for the development of specialized libraries, it was recognized as the most urgent task to establish a system that can comprehensively grasp the current status of specialized libraries as well as active academic research and support them.

본 연구에서는 디지털자료 운영 현황을 분석하여 도서관의 스마트디지털 환경을 위한 스마트도서관 도입에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전국 공공도서관 디지털자료실․디지털자료 담당자 213명을 대상으로 디지털자료 운영실태 조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 응답 공공도서관의 80.8%가 디지털자료실을 운영하고 있으며, 평균 1.75명이 디지털자료 관리 업무를 담당하고 있다. 응답 공공도서관은 개방형 와이파이가 설치되어 있으나 5G 서비스는 11.3%만이 도입하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 응답 공공도서관이 가장 많이 보유하고 있는 디지털자료는 영상 콘텐츠(63.8%)이며, 다음으로 전자책(53.5%)과 오디오북(53.5%) 순으로 조사되었다. 그 외, 오디오북은 평균 781종, 영상 콘텐츠는 4,985종, 영상외 비도서 콘텐츠는 3,616종, 기타 디지털자료는 626종을 보유하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 본 연구는 도서관 스마트디지털 환경 구축과 스마트도서관 도입을 위한 기초 연구로서 향후 디지털 자료 활성화 방안, 스마트도서관 도입에 관한 사서의 인식조사 연구가 수행될 필요가 있다.
Abstract
In this study, we tried to provide basic materials necessary for introduction of smart libraries by analyzing present conditions of its operation based on the actual conditions of digital materials. For this study, a survey of actual use of digital materials is conducted for digital material rooms of public libraries in nationwide and 213 persons in charge of digital materials. As a result of this study, the followings are found: first, 80.8% of those public libraries responding to the survey operate digital material rooms and average 1.75 person is in charge of managing digital materials and open type Wi-Fis are installed in those public libraties but only 11.3% of those libraries provide 5G services; second, it is found that the digital data which are owned by those public libraries most are video contents (63.8%), e-books (53.5%) and audio books (53.5%) in order. In addition average number of types of audio books 781, video contents 4,985, nonbook contents except for video 3,616 and other digital data 626. This study is a basic research for introduction of smart library and it is necessary to conduct another study of a plan for future revitalization of digital materials and librarians’ awareness on introduction of smart library.

본 연구에서는 인터넷 카페와 홈페이지의 어문저작물 불법 전송 실태를 조사분석하였고, 이를 바탕으로 저작권자의 권리를 보호할 방안을 모색하는데 목적을 두었다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 구체적인 연구 내용은 각 사이트별로 어문저작물 불법 복제 및 불법 전송이 이루어질 수 있는 개연성을 지닌 카페나 홈페이지의 메뉴들을 조사하였고, 전체 자료수, 어문저작물 자료수, 최고조회수, 평균조회수를 파악한 후, 어문저작물의 유형을 시, 소설, 기타 등으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 이러한 분석 결과, 정부나 저작권 관련 기관이 이를 법제화하여 통제를 하는 경우에 국내 어문저작물에 대한 순기능적인 인식의 확산을 저해할 요소가 있다. 하지만, 카페 및 홈페이지 운영자와 여기에 올리는 이용자 모두가 저작권에 대한 인식이 거의 없는 상황이므로 법제화 이전에 국민 계도 차원에서 단계별 교육 및 대국민 홍보를 강화할 필요성이 있다. 즉, 각각의 포털서비스 사업자가 사이트별 카페 및 홈페이지 운영자 및 이용자에 대한 저작권 관련 교육 및 시스템적 지원을 강화할 수 있는 방안을 강구해야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the current state of illegal distribution of literary works on internet cafes and homepages, and figure out how to protect the rights of copyright holders. For this study, examined were the cafes and menus of homepages of major Websites on the Internet, where illegal copying and delivery of literary works could happen. For each Website, the volumes of the entire collection, the number of literary works held, the maximum and average number of transactions were investigated, and literary works categorized according to genres were analyzed. The result shows that the strict legislation and regulation by government or copyright organizations could hinder the positive distribution of awareness about the copyright; but, still strongly needed is the promotion and education of the importance of copyright to help the public understand better. Providers of portal services should take a proper step to strengthen the training of and systematic support for copyright-related issues for both operators and users of cafes and homepages on Websites.

본 연구는 국내 시각장애인학교 도서관의 운영방향에 대한 기틀을 마련하고, 도서관 프로그램에 대한 실제 이용자의 인식정도를 반영한 체계적인 프로그램을 개발하기 위하여 진행되었다. 국내 시각장애 학교도서관 세 곳을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였으며, 분석결과를 기반으로 시각장애인학교 도서관 프로그램 프레임워크를 제안하였다. 프레임워크의 적용가능성 및 효과성을 검증하기 위하여 연구팀과 각 학교의 교사 간의 협의를 통하여 각 학교의 상황에 맞는 총 10개의 프로그램을 설계하여 실제 학생들을 대상으로 수업을 실시하였다. 프로그램 종료 후 조사한 결과 도서관 이용 빈도, 독서량, 도서관에 대한 인식, 정보활용 및 자기주도적 학습의지의 영역에서 모두 긍정적인 반응이 증가한 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
Abstract
The study goals are establishing a library management plan for the school for the blind in Korea and also developing a structured library program, which reflected the patron’s perception. We surveyed the students in three schools for the blind to identify their perception and usage statistics of the libraries. The analysis of the survey led to a school library program framework consisting of four types. To verify the applicability and effectiveness of the framework, we designed ten programs to meet the needs of the schools by consulting respective school’s teachers. We administered the second survey after the classes, and we found that there were positive increases in the frequency of library use, a number of books read, perception about the libraries, amount of information used, and self-directed learning willingness.

본 연구는 중국 공공도서관의 위챗 공식계정을 이용한 마케팅이 도서관에 대한 인식 및 이용자 충성도에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 중국 공공도서관 위챗 공식계정을 구독한 이용자와 구독하지 않은 이용자의 심층 인터뷰를 통해 연구 가능성을 탐색하고 설문지를 개발하였다. 이를 기반으로 중국 6개 지역의 공공도서관 이용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 그 결과 공식계정 운영특성은 중국 공공도서관에 대한 인식과 이용자 충성도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 SNS를 활용한 중국 공공도서관 마케팅이 이용자의 도서관 이용목적, 공공도서관 인식 및 이용자 충성도에 어떠한 영향이 있는지 검증하였고 SNS 유형 중에 위챗 공식계정을 다루었다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of marketing using Chinese public library WeChat official accounts on the perception of the library and loyalty. For this purpose, research possibilities were explored, and a questionnaire was developed through in-depth interviews with users who subscribed to the Chinese public library WeChat official accounts and those who did not. A survey was conducted with the questionnaire for public library users in six regions of China. As a result, it was confirmed that the characteristics of the official account operation had a positive effect on the perception of the libraries and users’ loyalty. This study is meaningful in that it verified how Chinese public library marketing using SNS affected users’ purpose on the use of libraries, perception of libraries, and users’ loyalty, and suggested how to deal with WeChat official accounts among SNS types.

본 연구는 대학의 교수와 학생 이용자가 전통적인 형태의 물리적 도서관과 온라인 정보이용 중심의 디지털 도서관이 혼합된 하이브리드 형태의 도서관 환경에서 대학도서관을 이용하고자 하는 행동 의도 즉, 도서관 이용 의도를 결정하는 요인들과 그 요인들 사이의 구조적 관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 대학의 주요 구성원 그룹이 가지고 있는 대학도서관에 대한 전반적인 인식을 조사하기 위하여 구조화된 설문지를 개발하여 자료를 수집하였고, 도서관 이용 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인들 간의 관계 분석을 위해 사회심리학에서 빈번히 활용되는 행동-태도 이론을 바탕으로 본 연구의 목적에 적합하다고 판단되는 계획행동이론(TPB)과 기술수용모형(TAM)을 기반으로 한 통합모형을 제안하여 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구는 이용환경 변화에 따른 이용자의 도서관 이용에 대한 인식과 이용 의도를 물리적 도서관과 디지털도서관으로 나누어 각각 확인하였고, 이를 바탕으로 향후 도서관의 미래 전략 및 운영 방안에 대해 논의해 보고자 하였다는데 그 의의가 있다고 할 수 있으며, 본 연구의 결과는 대학도서관으로 하여금 변화하는 환경에서 생존하고 균형적인 성장을 이루기 위해서는 인지, 주목, 그리고 협력을 바탕으로 한 효과적이며 효율적인 운영전략을 수립하여야 한다는 점을 주지하고 있다.
Abstract
This study investigates the factors affecting behavioral intention of professors and students at universities to use academic libraries in a hybrid library environment where a traditional physical library is combined with a digital library that is centered on online information use. The structural relationships among factors were also analyzed in this study by utilizing a combined behavioural model which was based on TPB and TAM. This study identified users’ intention to use academic libraries according to changes in the use environment, and the findings of this study bring a valuable meaning to library administrators for setting up the strategic plan for the future of academic libraries. The results of this study imply that academic libraries should strategically setup an effective and efficient operating plan based on awareness, attention and cooperation, in order to survive as well as to accomplish balanced growth in rapidly changing environment.

영상자료는 점차 도서관에서 중요한 장서의 일부가 되어가고 있으며 특히 공공도서관에서는 이러한 영상자료를 기반으로 다양한 문화프로그램을 운영하고 있다. 그러나 영상자료와 관련하여 저작권에서는 공연의 개념을 적용하여 공연범위를 일부 제한하고 있으며 도서관의 영상자료 사용에 대한 저작권 단체의 저작권료에 대한 요청도 논의되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 시점에서 도서관에서 실질적으로 영상자료를 다루고 있는 사서들이 저작권과 관련하여 인식하고 있는 문제점과 저작권료 지불에 대한 대응 의견을 조사하고자 하였다. 또한 부가적으로 영상자료의 중요성과 영상자료 관리상의 문제점도 분석하였다. 인식조사를 위한 설문은 대학 및 공공도서관을 대상으로 하여 총 292개의 응답을 받아 분석을 하였으며 2013년 5월 8일부터 6월 7일까지 총 한 달간 조사를 수행하였다. 분석결과 사서들은 영상자료 및 영상자료 서비스가 중요하다고 인지하고 있으며 판매용 영상물 상영에 대한 저작권 면책 조건에 대한 사항도 파악하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 발행일 6개월 미만의 영상자료 사용료를 지불하는 체제에 대해서는 부정적 의견을 보이고 있어 실질적으로 저작권료를 지불하는 체제를 도입할 의사는 없는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
Cinematographic works are crucial for libraries as a part of their collections. Especially public libraries provide a variety of programs associated with cinematographic works. Copyright law considers the use of cinematographic works as a type of public performance and restricted it under certain conditions such as the released date. In addition, copyright agency challenged libraries to pay fees for cinematographic works released within 6 months. At this point, this study investigated the perception of librarians on cinematographic works and copyright issues. 292 librarians in public and academic libraries answers the questionnaire form May 8th to June 7th, 2013. In result, librarians consider services of video works as a important part of library services. They are also conscious of the exception conditions for copyright law for cinematographic works provided by library services. Furthermore, even though librarians are aware of copyright issues, they show the negative response to copyright fees for playing cinematographic works in the libraries.

본 연구에서는 친환경 녹색도서관을 인증함에 있어 도서관의 친환경성을 평가할 수 있는 평가지표를 개발하여 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 녹색도서관 관련 문헌 및 사례조사를 통해 도서관 녹색요소를 추출하였으며, 평가요소에 대한 도서관 직원들의 인식을 설문조사하였다. 최종적으로 11개의 평가영역, 31개의 평가항목, 135개의 평가지표를 가진 녹색도서관 평가지표를 개발하였다. 11개의 평가영역은 토지이용 및 교통, 에너지 및 환경오염 방지, 재료 및 자원, 물순환 관리, 유지관리, 생태환경, 실내환경, 도서관 자원, 친환경 교육프로그램 및 캠페인, 직원 및 운영, 전산화 등이다.
Abstract
This study was conducted to develop and propose the evaluation indicators to evaluate the eco-friendliness of the library, when certified as the eco-friendly Green Libraries. To do this, we extracted the green library components through an analysis of the green library literatures and case studies, and surveyed the perceptions of the library staffs about the assessment factors. Finally, we developed the green library evaluation index with 11 evaluation areas, 31 evaluation items, and 135 evaluation indicators. The 11 evaluation areas are as follows; Land use and transportation, energy and environmental protection, materials and resources, water cycle management, maintenance management, ecological environment, the indoor environment, the library resources, the eco-education programs and campaigns, the staff and operations, and the computerization.

최근 새로운 형태의 공공도서관 즉, 타시설과 한 건물 혹은 한 대지에 같이 건립되는 복합시설 공공도서관이 부각되었다. 새로운 형태의 공공도서관이 이용자의 우호적인 지지와 지자체의 적극적인 지원을 받기 위해서는 이에 대한 이용자들의 평가와 요구에 대한 분석을 바탕으로 한 도서관의 운영전략 및 건립방안이 세워져야 할 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 서울소재 28개관의 복합시설 공공도서관 이용자를 대상으로 도서관 이용만족도와 복합화에 대한 인식을 조사하기 위하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 복합시설 공공도서관 이용자들은 복합시설 도서관을 이용하면서 인적자원, 정보자원, 서비스, 환경, 지역사회의 유대에 대해 대체적으로 만족하고 있으며, 복합화에 대해서도 긍정적으로 인식하고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 복합시설 공공도서관이 이용자에게 더 만족할 수 있는 환경과 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 도서관에 대한 편리한 접근성, 충분한 도서관의 규모 확보, 외부소음 방지 방안, 복합이용의 시너지 효과를 보일 수 있는 타시설과 연계, 복합시설 내 타시설과의 연계 프로그램 활성화 등이 이루어져야 할 것이다.
Abstract
Recently, attention has been drawn to a new form of a public library, that is, a public library in a complex facility constructed in the same building or site with another facility. To get active users’ or local governments’ supports in the public library in a complex facility, it is necessary to build library strategic plans based on the analysis of users’ evaluation and demands. Thus, this study analyzed the user satisfaction and perception of the 28 public libraries in complex facilities in Seoul. As a result, it was found that most users overall satisfied with public libraries in complex facilities in terms of human resources, information resources, and the links among services and positively perceived their environments and services. In order to provide more satisfaction to the users in public libraries in complex facilities first, it is necessary to improve the accessibility of libraries, to secure the sufficient library space, to prevent the outside noise, to link the facilities which bring mutual synergistic effect, and to develop a program and service accompanying other facilities.

본 연구는 고등학교 공통 과목을 중심으로 교과 교사들의 2015 개정 교육과정 현장 적용 실태와 인식이 교육정보요구에 미치는 영향을 확인하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 인천광역시 일반계 공립 고등학교에 재직 중인 국어, 수학, 영어, 사회, 과학 교과(군) 교사를 대상으로 개별 심층 면담과 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 2015 개정 교육과정 현장 적용 실태와 인식은 교육정보요구에 일부 유의한 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다. 특히 교육정보요구 부분에서 2015 개정 교육과정 적용에 따른 새로운 복본 요구 형태와 학습자료 정보원 요구 양태를 발견하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 지역적 범위 내 소규모 학교도서관 컨소시엄 형성과 레퍼럴 서비스 제공, 게이트웨이 역할 수행 기능 강화 등의 학교도서관 운영 방안을 제안하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to identify the effects of teachers’ recognition and application of 2015 revised national curriculum on their educational information needs in high schools. Several in-depth interviews and a questionnaire survey with the teachers, who were in charge of teaching common courses, such as Korean language, mathematics, English, social studies, and science, in general public high schools in Incheon, were executed for the purpose. As a result, the teachers’ recognition and application affected their educational information needs in part. Especially, new demands on small sized copies and learning information sources were identified which were related to the application of 2015 revised national curriculum. Based on the results, we proposed several improvements of school library operations, such as small sized local consortium for sharing resources and providing referral services, in order to strengthen the gateway role of school libraries.
