본 연구는 최근 도서관의 아웃리치서비스의 일환으로 전개되고 있는 팝업도서관 모델의 운영방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 특히 국가적 재난 및 대규모 행사 등의 사회적 이슈 현장에 도서관이 팝업도서관을 설치하여 정확하고 다양한 정보를 제공함으로써 시민의 알 권리를 충족시켜줄 수 있는 방안에 초점을 맞추었다. 연구를 위해 시민 대상의 설문조사와 세월호 여객선 침몰 사고 자원봉사자 및 2013년 부산국제영화제 참가자와의 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 조사결과 정보접근성의 보장이 필요한 정보제약 상황에서 구성원간의 소통과 현장의 정보가 부족했다는 점이 문제로 지적되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 정보제약 상황에서의 팝업도서관 모델 운영방안을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to propose a management plan of the pop-up library model that is developed as part of the outreach library service recently. Especially this study focused the method for meeting the citizen’s right to know by providing various information of the pop-up library in social fields such as a national disasters. The survey and In-depth interview (a volunteer of Sewol ferry disaster and a participant of 2013 Busan International Film Festival) were done for this research. As the results of the investigation, the lack of communication and information between members in constrained situations were pointed pointed out as important problems. With these findings, this study suggested the pop-up library model management plan in information-constrained situations.
초록
본 연구는 중등학교를 대상으로 학교도서관의 이용주체인 중학생과 고등학생의 학교도서관에 대한 인식과 요구를 규명하고, 이용주체의 특성에 따른 학교 급에 따른 효과적인 학교도서관 운영 개선 방향을 제시함을 목적으로 하고 있다. 연구를 위해 중학생과 고등학생을 대상으로 학교도서관에 대한 시설 및 환경, 장서 및 자료, 프로그램, 기타사항, 학교생활에 필요한 다양한 정보에 접근하는 방법 등에 대한 인식과 요구수준의 차이를 비교 분석하였으며, 결과를 바탕으로 효율적인 학교도서관 운영 방향으로 중학교와 고등학교의 차이에 기반을 둔 학교도서관의 지향점 설정 및 학교도서관 운영 전반을 제시하였다. 후속 연구로 중등학교 학교도서관에 대한 동일 학교급내 학년별 차이에 대한 규명의 필요성을 제안하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to identify the characteristics of Korean secondary school students in perceptions on and needs to school libraries, and suggest an effective library management directions based on the characteristics. To achieve this purpose, we compare the perceptions on and needs for library elements, such as facilities, collections, programs, etc., between middle school students and high school students, and analyze the differences. Based on the results from the analysis, we suggest to establish an orientation of school library management. We also suggest a need of further study in which differences in the perception and needs among grades in a level of the secondary school for more detailed customization of library services.
초록
노령화사회에서 노인을 위한 서비스는 도서관의 새로운 도전이다. 본 연구는 노인의 독서 장애요인과 노안에 대해 살펴보고, 노인의 독서를 용이하게 만드는 한글 큰글자도서의 출판과 수집 및 이용가능성을 조사하였다. 큰글자도서의 출판과 유통에 대하여는 국립중앙도서관 소장 서지리스트와 교보문고의 재고 리스트를 기초로 하고, 공공도서관에서 접근가능한 큰글자도서는 한국도서관협회가 보급한 큰글자도서 리스트와 기존의 도서관 장애인서비스 현황조사 데이터를 기초로 하여, 이용가능한 큰글자도서의 유형, 종수와 권수, 출판연도, 주제, 중복성 등을 분석하였다. 분석결과에 따라 문제점을 식별하고 큰글자도서의 서지통정, 수집 확대, 도서관의 노인 독서 진흥 방안 및 후속 연구를 제언하였다.
Abstract
Services for the elderly is a new challenge for the libraries in aging society. This study reviewed the obstacles faced by the old readers and presbyopia, and analyzed the states of the large-print books to understand and estimate the Korean large-print books availability. Based on the bibliographic list of large-print books collected by the National Library of Korea, large-print book stock list of the Kyobo Book Center, large-print book lists supplied to the libraries by the Korean Library Association, and the data of the previous Library Survey for the Disabled, number of titles and volumes, publication year, duplication, and subject field of the large-print books available are analyzed. Based on the results, problems are identified and recommendations for bibliographic control, collection development, reading promotion, and further research area are suggested.
