학교도서관은 학생들에게 미래의 불확실성에 대응할 수 있는 능력을 기를 수 있는 장소로, 다양한 정보를 활용하여 기본 역량과 변화 대응력을 키울 수 있는 곳이다. 학교도서관의 활용은 교사의 지도가 필수적이므로 교사의 인식은 매우 중요하다. 그러나 대부분의 연구는 교사의 인식을 외부환경으로 간주하여 그 중요성을 계량적인 척도로 측정하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 본 연구에서는 초등학교 교사들의 학교도서관 인식을 구체적으로 알아보고자, 사람 중심적인 접근 방법인 잠재프로파일 분석기법(Latent Profile Analysis, 이하 LPA)을 사용하여 기존 연구에서 검토하기 어려웠던 교사의 학교도서관의 역할과 중요성에 대한 복합적인 인식과 그 인식의 대표적인 유형을 확인하였다. 이를 토대로 교사의 인식유형에 따라 학교도서관의 운영과 활성화 방안을 맞춤형으로 제안하였다.
Abstract
A school library is where students develop their skills to cope with future uncertainty and can utilize various information materials to build their capability and response abilities to changes. Teachers’ perception is crucial as their guidance is essential for the student to use the school library. Most studies, however, focused on quantitative measurement of the importance of the teachers’ perception as an external environment, and there is a lack of specific categorization of different types of perceptions on the role of the school library. This study aims to examine types of perceptions about the school library among elementary school teachers. To do so, this study used Latent Profile Analysis (LPA), a person-centered approach, to identify teachers’ complex perceptions about the role and importance of the school library, which were difficult to review in previous studies, and the teachers’ most representative types of perceptions. Based on the findings from the above, this study is meaningful in proposing customized measures to operate and promote the school library depending on teachers’ perceptions.

본 연구의 목적은 변화하는 지능 정보 사회에서 핵심 역량으로 대두되고 있는 AI 리터러시와 관련하여, 국내 대학도서관들의 이용자들 대상으로 한 AI 리터러시 교육의 현황과 대학도서관의 AI 리터러시 교육에 대한 인식과 당위성을 파악하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 AI 리터러시에 대한 개념의 변화 양상과 대학도서관 이용자인 학생들의 생성형 AI를 포함한 AI 리터러시의 자가 인식을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 대학도서관에서 AI 리터리시 교육 및 생성형 AI 리터러시 교육 진행 시 수강 의향의 경우 긍정적인 응답이 주로 확인되었으며, 본 연구는 대학도서관의 AI 리터러시 교육의 대학 필수 교육과정 내 AI 리터러시 함양 기초 교육과 연계하여 진행하는 방향을 제안한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to understand the current status of AI literacy education for users of Korean university libraries and the perception and justification of AI literacy education in university libraries in relation to AI literacy, which is emerging as a key capability in the changing intelligent information society. To this end, this study analyzed the change in the concept of AI literacy and the self-awareness of AI literacy, including generative AI by students who are university library users. As a result of the analysis, positive responses were mainly confirmed in the case of willingness to take AI literacy education and generative AI literacy education in university libraries, and this study suggests that AI literacy education in university essential curriculum is conducted in connection with essential basic education.

본 연구의 주요 목적은 시대 변화에 능동적으로 대응할 수 있는 한글도서관의 미래 지향적 역할을 탐색하고, 이를 위한 발전 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 우선 한글도서관의 현재 기능, 자원, 자료, 온․오프라인 서비스 및 도서관 웹사이트를 철저히 분석하였다. 국내외의 박물관 및 미술관 내 도서관, 그리고 선진 도서관의 운영 현황과 모범 사례를 조사하여 분석하고, 최종적으로 한글도서관의 중장기 발전 방안을 수립하고, 이를 위한 단계별 세부 추진 방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 본 연구 결과는 한글도서관이 한글 관련 도서관으로서 중심적인 역할을 더욱 효과적으로 수행할 수 있도록 하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The main objective of this study is to explore the forward-looking role of a National Hangeul Museum Library that can actively respond to changes in the era and to propose development strategies for this purpose. To achieve this, the current functions, resources, materials, online and offline services, and the library's website were thoroughly analyzed. We conducted research on the operational status and best practices of libraries within museums, art galleries, and advanced libraries both domestically and internationally. Ultimately, we aimed to establish medium to long-term development strategies for the Korean library and derive step-by-step detailed implementation plans. The results of this study can serve as foundational data to help the National Hangeul Museum Library effectively fulfill its central role as a library related to the Korean language and culture.

주민참여예산으로 메타버스 서비스를 준비하고 있는 경기도서관을 중심으로 선행연구와 각종 정보자원을 분석하여 경기광역대표도서관에 적합한 메타버스의 역할을 도출하였다. 그리고 광역대표도서관을 중심으로 협력적 콘텐츠 구축 및 서비스 모델을 일차적으로 제시한 뒤, 광역대표도서관, 경기도를 비롯한 전국의 각종 도서관의 현장 사서들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 광역대표도서관의 메타버스 역할, 콘텐츠, 협력 가능한 콘텐츠 및 원활한 협력을 위한 고려사항 등을 도출하였다. 사서들의 의견을 조사한 결과, 광역대표도서관 메타버스의 역할은 도서관 자료의 연속적인 이용을 위한 도구이며 지역 전체를 위한 서비스 공간이 되어야 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 응답자의 3/4이 협력적 콘텐츠 구축에 참여의향을 보였으며, 참여 시 우려가 되는 점은 인력과 예산, 업무과중으로 나타났으며, 광역대표도서관의 체계적인 지원이 필요함을 볼 수 있었다.
Abstract
Focusing on Gyeonggi Library, which is preparing Metaverse services using resident participatory budgets, we deduced the role of Metaverse suitable for metropolitan representative libraries, conducting a preliminary study and analyzing various informational resources. Subsequently, we presented a collaborative content construction and service model primarily centered around the metropolitan representative library. We conducted a survey targeting on-site librarians from metropolitan representative libraries, as well as various libraries across Gyeonggi Province and the entire nation. Through this survey, we extracted insights into the Metaverse role, content possibilities, and considerations for seamless cooperation within the scope of the metropolitan representative library. Based on the opinions of surveyed librarians, it was evident that the role of the metropolitan representative library’s Metaverse should function as a tool for continuous utilization of library resources and serve as a space for the entire local community. Approximately three-fourths of the respondents expressed willingness to participate in collaborative content development. However, concerns were raised about human resource limitations, budget constraints, and excessive workloads as potential obstacles to participation. This highlighted the need for systematic support from the metropolitan representative library to address these concerns.

본 연구에서는 전문도서관 사서를 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 대내․외 환경변화와 정책적 지원방안에 따라 업무영역에 미치는 영향력을 분석하고, 설문조사 결과에서 분석된 현장사서들의 인식조사 결과를 토대로 전문도서관 발전에 영향을 미치는 요인과 이에 따른 정책적 제안을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 개별 기관 내 도서관 위상 역할에 대한 인식에서는 도서관 발전계획 중요도에서 부정적인 의견이 58.3%, 도서관으로서 본연의 역할 수행여부에 대해서는 긍정적인 인식을 하는 것을 확인할 수가 있었다. 둘째, 전문도서관의 위상을 높이기 위해서는 주요 기능과 역할의 중요성을 인식하여 학술연구활동에 대한 인식이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 도서관발전종합계획 중 전문도서관 및 운영평가 인식에서는 국가 공공 정보의 대국민 서비스 확대에 대해 가장 높게 인식하고 있었다. 또한 5년간 발전전략 중 우선 시행되어야 할 정책으로는 전문도서관 현황 갱신 및 조사를 위한 시스템 구축을 선호하는 것을 확인할 수가 있었다. 넷째, 도서관 운영평가 참여율 제고를 위한 효과적인 대안 및 개선지표에 대해 분석한 결과, 공기업 평가 항목에서 “기관 도서관 운영 평가” 항목의 가중치 부여가 평균 4.01로 가장 높게 나타났다. 따라서, 전문도서관 발전을 위해서는 현재 전문도서관의 현황을 종합적으로 파악할 수 있는 체계를 구축하고 적극적인 학술 연구를 지원하는 것이 가장 시급할 것으로 파악되었다
Abstract
In this study, a survey was conducted targeting specialized librarians, and the impact on the work area according to changes in the internal and external environment and policy support measures was analyzed. In this study, we tried to derive factors that affect library development and policy suggestions accordingly. As a result of the study, first, it was confirmed that 58.3% of the negative opinions in terms of the importance of library development plans were positive in recognition of the role of library status within individual institutions. Second, in order to increase the status of specialized libraries, it was found that awareness of academic research activities was necessary by recognizing the importance of major functions and roles. Third, among the comprehensive library development plans, the recognition of specialized libraries and operational evaluation was the highest in recognition of the expansion of national public information services to the public. In addition, it was confirmed that among the five-year development strategies, the policy that should be implemented first is the preference for updating the status of specialized libraries and establishing a system for investigation. Fourth, as a result of analyzing effective alternatives and improvement indicators to increase the participation rate in library operation evaluation, the weighting of the “institutional library operation evaluation” item in the evaluation item of public enterprises was the highest at 4.01 on average. Therefore, for the development of specialized libraries, it was recognized as the most urgent task to establish a system that can comprehensively grasp the current status of specialized libraries as well as active academic research and support them.

본 연구는 다양한 관점의 이용요구가 혼재되어있는 독서자료의 속성을 파악하기 위해, 도서의 동시이용(동시대출, 동시구매) 데이터에 기반하여 독서자료의 선택 및 이용과 관계된 서지적 속성을 분석하였다. KDC 주제, 독자대상, 이용자 연령 관련 26개 하위 속성 단위로 구분하여 서지적 속성 용어의 동시출현행렬을 생성하고 네트워크 분석을 수행한 결과, 독서자료의 서지적 속성의 세부 내용 및 두드러진 매개 역할을 파악하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 도서관 OPAC을 비롯한 독서정보 시스템의 패싯 설계에 도움이 될 것이다.
Abstract
This study analyzed bibliographic attributes related to the selection and use of reading materials based on data on books borrowed or purchased together in order to understand the properties of reading materials that have complex user needs from various perspectives. As a result of creating co-occurrence matrices of bibliographic attribute terms by dividing them into 26 sub-attribute units related to KDC main class, target reader, and user age, and performing network analyses, the details and prominent mediating role of bibliographic attributes of reading materials were identified. The results of this study will be helpful in designing facets of reading information systems, including library OPAC, in the future.

이 연구는 국내 기록관리표준의 연구동향을 분석한 것으로 이를 위해 기록관리표준 관련 논문의 표제-주제어-초록의 키워드를 추출하여 상위빈도 키워드의 분석과 키워드 네트워크 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 대상 기간은 2000년부터 현재까지이며 RISS와 ScienceON 등의 국내 학술논문 검색사이트에서 총 212편의 논문을 수집하여 연구를 수행하였다. 분석 결과 2000~2010년까지는 아카이브 설계를 위한 OAIS의 연구, OAIS를 통한 디지털 기록 보존연구 ISO 표준의 분석 연구 등이 주로 진행되었고, 2011년 이후부터 지금까지는 기록경영인증, ISAD(G)의 RiC 전환 등의 연구가 진행되었음을 알 수 있었다. 이 연구는 기록관리표준 연구의 국내 연구동향을 분석함으로써 연구 흐름을 파악하는 기초자료로 활용되며, 기존 기록관리표준을 연구할 때 참고자료로 역할을 할 것으로 기대한다.
Abstract
This study aimed to analyze and collect research trends of archival management standards in Korea. For this purpose, keywords from the titles, author keywords, and abstracts of papers related to records management standards were statistically analyzed to investigate the major keywords with high-frequency. Network analysis with high frequency keywords was also conducted to identify the subject areas of research in archival management standards. The analysis period is from 2000 to the present, and a total of 212 papers were collected from domestic academic paper search sites such as RISS and ScienceON. As a result of the analysis, from 2000 to 2010, OAIS for archive design, digital record preservation with OAIS, and analysis on ISO standards were mainly conducted in research areas. From 2011 until now, records management certification and ISAD(G)’s conversion to RiC emerged as new research areas. This study will be expected to be basic data to understand research trends in records management standards in Korea and to be a reference for research on records management standards studies.

본 연구는 독서공간으로서의 학교도서관에 주목하고 독서를 위한 학교도서관 이용 시 공간특성 요소에 대한 중학생 이용자의 인식을 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 선행연구와 예비 연구를 통해 공간특성 요소를 선정하고 각 공간특성 요소에 대해 학생들이 중요하게 생각하는 정도와 충족하는 정도를 살펴보고자 하였다. 그리고 이용자의 인식이 이용현황 및 학교도서관 독서활동 경험에 따라 차이가 있는지 살펴보았으며, 학교도서관 이용자 만족도와 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는지 파악하였다. 더불어 공간특성 요소의 인식이 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는데 있어 학교도서관 이용자 만족도가 매개 역할을 하는지 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 중학교 4곳에 재학 중인 342명의 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 공간특성 요소 중 소통성, 다양성, 안전성, 편의성에 대한 이용자의 인식이 이용현황에 따라 차이를 보였으며, 소통성, 쾌적성, 분위기가 이용자 만족도에, 심미성과 소통성이 지속이용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이 중 소통성, 쾌적성, 분위기는 학교도서관 이용자 만족도를 매개하여 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 독서를 위한 공간으로서 학교도서관을 조사함으로써 학생들의 독서 지원을 위한 방안을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다.
Abstract
This study aims to understand students’ perceptions of the spatial characteristics of school libraries when they use them for reading. We selected a set of spatial characteristics by reviewing the literature and conducting a preliminary investigation. Then, we examined how students perceived the importance of and how satisfied they were with each characteristic. In addition, we investigated how students’ perceptions differ by the library uses and reading-related activities. We also studied whether the satisfaction of school library users affects their continued use of the libraries. We also verified whether school library user satisfaction is an intervening variable in continued-use intention, which is affected by spatial characteristics perception. We conducted a survey of 342 students from four middle schools. The analysis of the survey outcomes shows differences in library use due to spatial characteristics such as convenience, communicability, diversity, and safety. Factors such as communicability, comfortability, and ambience affected user satisfaction positively. Both aesthetics and communicability also positively influenced the continued-use intention. Furthermore, we identified that communicability, comfortability, and ambience eventually impacted the continued-use intention via user satisfaction, an intervening variable. The significance of this study is that it considered the direction of the school library to support students’ reading by regarding the school library as a space for reading.

오픈 데이터가 국제적인 흐름으로 주목받는 현시점에서 데이터 공유를 지원하는 한국의 국제 학술지 역할에 대한 논의가 이루어질 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 발간 국제 학술지의 편집인 설문 조사와 인터뷰를 바탕으로 데이터 공유 정책 도입에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하고 해당 학술지 편집인의 데이터 공유 정책 도입 및 구성요소에 대한 인식을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 정책을 도입하였거나 도입할 예정인 학술지에서는 데이터 공유가 국제적인 추세이며 연구발전에 기여할 수 있다는 점을 인식하였지만, 여전히 데이터 공유에 대한 인식 개선 노력이 필요함을 강조하였다. 이에 학술지 및 학술공동체 차원에서의 교육 활동이나 데이터 공유에 따른 보상을 통해 데이터 공유에 대한 인식을 개선할 필요가 있었다. 또한 중요도가 높으며, 필수 구성요소로 편집인의 절반 이상이 선택한 구성요소로 ‘데이터 가용성 표기’, ‘데이터 공유 수준’, ‘데이터 공유 방법’, ‘데이터 인용’이 있었다. 이들 학술지에서 데이터 공유를 반드시 의무화할 필요는 없지만 데이터 가용성 표기를 통해 데이터를 공유할 수 없는 상황에 대해 언급하는 것은 필요하다고 보았다. 국내 상황에 적합한 리포지터리 개발 및 실행을 책임질 기관의 역할 또한 강조되었다. 더불어 정책 도입에 영향을 주는 요인에 따라 정책 도입 비율의 차이를 확인한 결과, 영향력지수 사분위, 출판 유형, 주제 분야에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 영향력지수가 높은 학술지는 데이터 공유를 지원하는 자원을 보유할 가능성이 높고 오픈액세스 혹은 하이브리드 학술지는 오픈사이언스의 일환인 오픈 데이터에 관심을 가지는 경향이 있다고 볼 수 있었다. 의학 분야에서는 학술공동체 차원의 데이터 공유를 위한 적극적인 움직임이 데이터 공유 정책 도입을 촉진하였음을 알 수 있었다. 국내에서 학술지 데이터 공유 정책 도입 및 운영을 활성화하는 기초자료로서 본 연구가 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
At a time when open data receives attention as an international trend, there is a need to discuss the role of international journals in Korea to support data sharing. Based on surveys and interviews of editors from the international journals, we identified factors affecting the policy adoption and examined the journal editors' perception on the adoption and components of the data sharing policy. As a result, scholarly journals that have adopted or are planning to adopt policies have recognized that data sharing is an international trend and can contribute to research development, but they stressed that efforts to improve the perception of data sharing were still necessary. Educational activities and compensation for sharing data were needed at scholarly journals’ and communities’ level. Also, components perceived important and selected by more than half of the editors as mandatory were ‘data availability statement’, ‘data sharing level’, ‘data sharing method’, and ‘data citation’. While scholarly journals do not always need to mandate data sharing, it was necessary to mention conditions where data cannot be shared through data availability statements. The role of the organization developing and operating a repository appropriate for situations in Korea was also emphasized. In addition, by identifying factors affecting the policy adoption, significant differences were found in Journal Impact Factor quartiles, publication type, and subject area. This finding indicated that journals with a high impact factor are likely to have resources to support data sharing, and open access or hybrid journals are likely to have interest in open data as a part of open science. In the medical research area, active movements for data sharing in academic communities have promoted the adoption of data sharing policies. This study would be used as basic data to facilitate the adopton and operation of scholarly journals’ data sharing policies in Korea.

대학도서관 발전계획은 외부적으로는 도서관의 역할과 발전 방향에 대한 명시적인 선언이자 내부적으로는 도서관 서비스 제공을 위한 지침으로 기능한다는 점에서 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 발전계획 수립을 위해서는 국제적, 국가적 환경에 대한 이해, 개별 대학과 대학구성원에 대한 이해가 요구된다. 본 연구는 대학도서관과 관련된 국제 환경의 추세를 파악하기 위하여 해외 대학도서관 발전계획 사례를 조사하고, 내용분석과 네트워크 분석을 통해 그 동향을 파악하였다. 그 결과, 대부분의 해외 대학도서관에서는 ‘협업’, ‘컬렉션 개발 및 구축’, ‘연구지원’이라는 키워드를 주축으로 다양한 전략과 세부 계획을 제시하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구에서는 향후 대학도서관 발전계획 수립 시 고려해야 하는 사항으로, 발전계획 내 대학도서관의 사명과 비전, 가치의 구체적 명시, 문화적 다양성성과 형평성, 포용성 등의 핵심가치의 중요성 인식, 대학도서관 내외부의 파트너십 및 협업의 중요성 인식, 경영 목적 달성의 도구로서 대학도서관 발전계획의 활용을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The academic library development plan has external importance as it explicitly declares the library’s role and development direction. Internally, it is also a library service guideline. To develop the development plan, libraries must understand the trends and needs of international, national, and affiliating universities and their constituents. Accordingly, this research includes case, content, and network analyses of foreign academic libraries’ development plans to identify the trends. The analysis results show most foreign academic libraries employed various strategies and plans, which can be characterized as ‘collaboration,’ ‘collection development,’ and ‘research support.’ Consequently, we propose the following factors to consider when developing an academic library development plan: specification of mission, vision, and core values; recognition of core values such as diversity, equity, and inclusion; awareness of the significance of collaboration and partnership with other units within the universities and external organizations; and utilization of university library development plans as tools for achieving management objectives.
