서비스를 제공하는 많은 영리 및 비영리 기관들에게 서비스 제공자와 수혜자 간의 관계는 해당 기관에 대한 인식으로도 이어지기 때문에 중요성을 가진다. 이러한 관계를 통해 수혜자에게 인식되는 혜택을 관계 혜택이라고 하는데, 본 연구에서는 공공도서관 이용자가 관계 혜택을 인식하는지, 관계 혜택 인식이 도서관 신뢰 및 도서관 인식에 영향을 미치는지 설문조사를 통해 파악하고자 한다. 그 결과 공공도서관 이용자들은 관계 혜택에 대해 인식하고 있었고, 관계 혜택은 도서관 신뢰와 도서관 인식에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 본 연구는 도서관 사서와 이용자 간의 관계에 대해 알아보고자 했다는 점에서 의미를 찾을 수 있으며, 앞으로 이용자들이 사서와의 관계 형성을 통해 도서관에 대한 긍정적인 인식을 가지는데 기여할 것으로 기대한다.
Abstract
Many for-profit and not-for-profit organizations’ service provider can affect customers’ perceptions of the organization based on the relationship between the customers and the organizations. This study aims to identify the relational benefits in libraries, and analyze the relationship between relational benefits and library trust and perception using a questionnaire. As a result, public library customers realize relational benefits with librarians. And these relational benefits affect library trust and perception. This study is meaningful in that it focuses on the relationships in libraries for the first time, which can contribute to the positive perceptions of customer-librarian relations.

학술과 문화 기반의 비이념적 정보교류협력은 비정치적이면서도 장기적 관점에서 민족 동질성과 신뢰회복에 가장 효과적일 수 있는 남북한 협력사업의 영역이라 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 통일 한국을 대비하여 단계적인 남북한 협력기반 조성을 위해 국가도서관을 매개로 한 남북 문화교류협력에 관한 방안들을 조사 분석하였다. 관련하여 북한도서관의 기능과 한계 및 현재적 관점에서의 사회적 활용성을 살펴보고, 그간의 도서관교류협력사업을 남북한 문화분야 협력사업이라는 틀안에서 검토하였다. 이에 협력 거버넌스 체계구축 등 다섯 가지 협력안을 기반으로 남북 도서관교류협력의 단계적 모형을 제안하였다.
Abstract
Non-ideological information exchange and cooperation based on the scholarly and cultural fields would be the most effective project of south and north Korea for gaining the national homogeneity and trust in the long-term perspective. In this context, this study researched the measures on cultural exchange and cooperation between south and north through national libraries for the unified Korea. Related with that issue, this study analyzed function and limitation of national library in north Korea and evaluated library cooperation between south and north Korea in the frame of cultural cooperation project. So, this study suggested the stepwise model of the library cooperation between south and north based on the five practical measures including the cooperation governance system.

현재와 장래에 이용될 신뢰할 수 있는 디지털 정보를 유지하고, 가치를 부여하는 디지털 큐레이션은 전문도서관에서의 중요한 업무로 인지되기 시작하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 지속적으로 변화하는 디지털정보 환경 하에서 전문도서관이 수행하고 있는 디지털 큐레이션 업무에 대한 전반적인 실태조사와 현재 전문도서관에서 수행되는 큐레이션 업무 수준 및 전문도서관 사서가 인지하는 큐레이션 업무의 중요도 정도를 파악하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 먼저 디지털 큐레이션 프로세스를 대표할 수 있는 활동범주와 이에 해당되는 세부업무를 도출한 후, 이에 대한 전문도서관의 수행정도와 중요정도를 조사하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 전문도서관의 디지털 큐레이션 활동은 전반적으로 미흡하였고 이에 대한 중요도 인식도 그다지 높지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 전문도서관 사서들이 기관으로부터 지원을 받지 못하는 어려움을 겪고 있고 내부적으로는 장기적인 정책 및 업무절차를 수립하지 못하여 체계적인 디지털 큐레이션을 못하고 있으며, 셋째, 사서들은 여전히 도서관의 전통적인 업무 사이클인 정보조직-소장-이용을 중요시 여기고 이 업무들을 중심으로 하여 디지털 큐레이션 활동을 수행하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로 새로운 개념으로 새로운 실무와 기술을 익혀야 수행할 수 있는 디지털 보존에 대한 중요도 인지와 이와 관련된 기술적 역량을 확장시키는 노력이 요구됨을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
Digital curation which maintains digital information over time and adds value becomes, nowadays, one of the important business process in the special libraries. This study is to investigate the business practice level of the digital curation in the special libraries and the librarians’ perception on the importancy of digital curation. In results, it is found that most librarian, in general, think that the level of digital curation practice in the special libraries is insufficiency. Also, the study finds that the librarians of special libraries have difficulties in terms of the lack of willingness and funding problems as well as the lack of long-term policies and suitable business procedures; they only focus the cycle of information organization-information storage-information use among the 8 processes of digital curation; they need to recognize the importance of digital preservation as one of the essential process of digital curation and make effort to extend technological capacity of digital preservation.
