초록
도서관과 정보센터를 둘러싼 환경적인 변화와 함께, 다양한 관리 기법을 개발하고 이를 도서관 업무와 서비스에 적용시켜야 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 관점하에서 새로운 경영 및 품질개선 기법으로서 6시그마를 도서관에 적용한 사례연구를 수행하였다. 특히 본 연구에는 6시그마 기법을 도서관에서 해외 학술정보를 입수하는 과정에 실제 적용하여 나타나는 문제점과 이를 해결할 수 있는 방안을 제시하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 이를 위하여 제조업 분야에서 주로 적용되었던 6시그마 기법의 하나인 DMAIC 방법을 이용하였다. 결과적으로 6시그마 기법을 본 연구에서 목표하는 분야에 있어서 높은 개선 효과를 거둘 수 있었다.
Abstract
With the environmental changes around libraries and information center, they need to develop various management techniques and apply them to library works and services. In this research, a case study was conducted in a special library of IT company. This study was aimed for reducing ineffective components and unnecessary processes in library works and services. This study applied the Six sigma technique to improve the process of purchasing overseas academic and strategic information and users' a degree of satisfaction on information service. Specifically, this study used the five-step DMAIC(Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) method, mainly used in the manufacturing sector. As a result of this study, we could get epoch-making improvement.
초록
본 연구는 호주 이메일메타데이터표준 및 한국기록관리메타데이터 표준에 기반하여 국제표준을 준용하는 이메일기록에 대한 표준화된 메타데이터요소를 개발하는데 있다. 이러한 목표를 달성하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 기록관리 및 기록물 메타데이터와 관련된 국제표준인 ISO 15489와 ISO 23081을 분석 및 조사하였다. 두 번째로, 국내 공공기관에서 생산된 이메일기록에 대한 특징을 추출하기 위하여 사례연구를 수행하였다. 또한, 호주의 이메일 메타데이터표준에 대한 상대평가 연구를 수행하였다. 위의 과정을 통하여 추출된 결과와 함께, 본 연구에서는 이메일기록에 대한 관리를 위한 필수 및 선택적 메타데이터요소를 제안하였다. 또한 제안된 이메일 메타데이터요소에 적용 가능한 XML DTD를 개발하였다. 한편, 제안된 이메일 메타데이터요소는 한국의 지방자치단체의 행정정보시스템에서 생산된 실제 이메일기록에 적용하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to develop standardized metadata elements of e-mail records with respect to international standards based on analyzing the Australian Government Email Metadata Standard(AGEMS) elements and Korean Records Management Metadata Standard including e-mail records. To achieve the goal, we investigated and analyzed ISO15489 and ISO 23081 which are the international standard related to records and metadata of records. Second, a case study related to the features of e-mail records produced in public institutions in Korea was performed. Third, we made a comparative study of Australian Government Email Metadata Standard(AGEMS). With the results, we proposed mandatory and optional metadata elements for managing e-mail records. Also, the DTD of proposed metadata elements were developed. The proposed metadata elements of e-mail was applied to e-mails which were produced from a administrative information system of a local government in Korea.
초록
한류3.0 시대를 맞이하여 기존 미디어 중심의 한류문화에서 벗어나 다양한 한류문화콘텐츠 개발을 통해 한국문화의 세계화와 지속가능성을 높일 수 있는 전략적 방안을 마련할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 LOD기반의 음식문화콘텐츠 서비스 제공을 통해 음식문화 관련 정보뿐만 아니라 다른 문화콘텐츠들과도 망라적으로 연결시켜 다양한 한류문화콘텐츠들이 발전할 수 있는 기반을 마련하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 문헌연구 및 사례분석을 통해 음식문화의 개념을 정립하고 분류하였으며, LOD기반의 음식문화콘텐츠 서비스의 적용가능성을 분석하였다. 나아가 음식문화 LOD 구축 프로세스 및 서비스 모형을 제안함으로써 LOD기반의 한류문화서비스 확장에 관한 기초 연구를 제공하고자 하였다.
Abstract
In the Korean wave 3.0 age, it is needed to prepare how to globalize and hold Korean culture through development of various Korean wave culture contents from existing contents focused on media. The goal of this study is to establish the foundation for developing the various Korean wave culture contents as linking information about other culture contents as well as food culture by extending Korean culture contents service based on LOD. For this purpose, this study established and assorted the concept of food culture through the literature review and case study and analyzed the applicability of the services of food culture contents based on LOD. Futhermore, this study provides the basis on extension of Korean wave culture service and suggests the process of implementation of food culture LOD and service model.

유비쿼터스 사회의 도래와 함께, 공공도서관에 대한 이용자 요구의 변화는 정보제공기관, 문화서비스기관 및 교육기관으로써 역할과 기능을 수행의 필요성이 대두되었다. 유비쿼터스 환경에서 다목적 기능을 수행하는 공공도서관은 물리적 공간과 디지털 공간을 기반으로 서비스가 제공된다. 공간적 기반에 있어서 정보공유공간(information commons)은 유비쿼터스 도서관의 물리적인 공간 기반이라 할 수 있다. 특히, 유비쿼터스 환경의 도래와 함께, 물리적 공간의 효과적인 설계 및 활용은 멀티복합공간으로서 공공도서관의 기능과 역할수행에 있어서 매우 중요한 요소라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 공공도서관에서의 물리적 공간으로써 정보공유공간의 설계와 구축을 위한 설계 및 시설요소에 대하여 알아보았다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 문헌조사, 사례 및 설문조사를 통하여 공공도서관의 정보공유공간에 대한 흐름과 요구사항을 도출하였으며 이를 통하여 유비쿼터스 환경에서 공공도서관의 물리적 공간으로써 정보공유공간의 구축을 위한 시설요소 및 설계원칙을 제안하였다.
Abstract
With the advent of uniquitous life, changes of users’ demands make a public library accomplish roles and functions of a complex service center providing information, education and culture service. As a multi-function center, a public library provides various services based on physical and digital space in ubiquitous environment. Information commons is a basement of physical space in an u-Library. Especially, with the advent of ubiquitous environment, design and use of physical space will be a critical issue for a public library to perform its role and function as a multiple complicated space. This study derives facilities and components for designing and implementing information commons in a public library as a physical space. To perform the goals, this study focuses on the newest trends and requirements through literature study, case study and survey. As a result, this study proposes components of facility and principles of design to implement information commons as a physical space in a public library.
