본 연구는 국내 대학도서관 사서 326명을 대상으로 설문조사를 통하여 도서관 3.0 서비스에 대한 인지도 및 향후 유용성 정도, 대응전략 등에 대하여 알아보았다. 본 연구의 결과, 도서관 3.0 서비스에 대한 인지도는 ① 모바일 도서관, ② 시멘틱 검색, ③ 인공지능, ④ 클라우드 컴퓨팅, ⑤ 온톨로지, ⑥ 링키드 도서관의 순이었다. 도서관 3.0 서비스에 대한 유용성은 ① 모바일 도서관, ② 링키드 도서관, ③ 시멘틱 검색, ④ 클라우드 컴퓨팅, ⑤ 인공지능, ⑥ 온톨로지의 순이었다. 그리고 도서관 3.0 서비스에 대한 인지도가 도서관 경쟁력으로 작용하지 못하고 개인적인 경쟁력으로만 그치는 것으로 나타나 추후 개인의 경쟁력을 조직의 경쟁력으로 끌어올릴 수 있는 방안에 대한 연구가 필요하다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the level of 326 academic librarians awareness, usability and counter strategies on the Library 3.0. The results revealed the awareness level in the following order: that ① Mobile Library ② Semantic Search ③ AI(Artificial Intelligent) ④ Cloud Computing ⑤ Ontology ⑥ Linked Data. The order of the future usability for the Library 3.0 was ranked ① Mobile Library ② Linked Data ③ Semantic Search ④ Cloud Computing ⑤ AI and ⑥ Ontology. To conclude, the level of awareness and the usability of Library 3.0 were shown to be statistically significant. There are, however, some discrepancies in awareness differ across librarians and regions. Moreover, the level of awareness for the Library 3.0 did influence the library’s organizational performance but the individual librarian’s competences only.

웹 3.0의 개념과 실체에 대한 논의와 함께 도서관 3.0의 개념과 실체에 대한 논의도 최근 몇 년 동안 여러 학자들과 현장 전문가들에 의해 진행되어 온 것을 알 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 도서관 3.0을 바라보는 다양한 논의들을 분석하고 도서관 3.0의 개념을 정리하고자 하며, 이를 기반으로 한 도서관 3.0 서비스 모형을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제안된 도서관 3.0 서비스의 키워드는 기계에 의한 데이터 처리가 가능한 시맨틱 웹 기술과 소셜 네트워킹 서비스가 전자도서관에 적용되어 ‘진정한 지식 공유 및 협업’이 가능한 소셜시맨틱디지털도서관, 도서관의 자원이 Linked Data가 되어 전 세계의 도서관이 연결된 구조의 링키드 도서관, 그리고 RFID 및 모바일기술이 적용된 유비쿼터스적 모바일 도서관이다.
Abstract
Recently the concept of Library 3.0 and its substance have been discussed by scholars and specialists along with Web 3.0. This study aims to analyze the debates on Library 3.0 and review the concept of Library 3.0. In addition, this study proposes library 3.0 service model based on its analysis. The keywords of in the proposed Library 3.0 model in this study is the Social Semantic Digital Library(SSDL), the Linked Library, and the Mobile Library. First, the SSDL means a real knowledge sharing and cooperation by applying both semantic web technology that which can manage data by machines and social networking services into e-libraries. Second, the Linked Library indicates that library resources become linked data that link libraries in all over the world. Finally, the Mobile Library refers to ubiquitous library equipped with RFID and mobile technology.
