디지털도서관은 그것을 구성하는 다양한 요소들이 상호작용 하는 네트워크로 이해될 필요가 있다. 본 논문은 사회 문화적 맥락에서 ICT를 연구하는 사회정보학적 관점에서 제안된STIN모델을 적용하여 LC에서 개발한 디지털도서관인 American Memory를 분석하였다. American Memory의 핵심 이용자로 파악된 미국 초ㆍ중ㆍ고등학교 교사와 학생들을 디지털도서관으로 끌어들이기 위하여 개발된 참여전략과정은 이용자, 터지털장서, 직원들 간의상호작용을 유도하고, 그들 간 관계와 역할을 변경시키면서 지식작업의 기반에 영향을 미치고 있음을 발견하였다. 본 연구는 디지털도서관에 대한 분석과 이해에 새로운 방향을 제시해 줄 것이라고 기대한다.
Abstract
This paper shows that digital libraries can be understood through STIN models which emphasize interactions among components in networks. The enrollment strategies in the American Memory make human and non-human factors interact. Specifically, this paper articulates that the relationships between users and collections, between users and staff, and between users and users are closely linked through the strategies. Observing the linkages among these components, this paper found that the enrollment processes not only draw users to the American Memory, but also alter roles of components and creates new roles and players for them. The alterations of roles and the resulting changes of relationships among components mean that digital libraries lead to transform the grounding of knowledge works in a society.

인터넷 이용의 폭발적인 증가와 통신망의 발달, 개인 홈페이지에서 전문 정보서비스에 이르는 디지털콘텐츠의 폭증, 새로운 파일교환 서비스의 등장과 해킹기술의 발달은 디지털콘텐츠의 복제와 배포를 더욱 확산시킴으로서 해당 저작물의 저작권자가 법적으로 보장받던 배타적 권리를 심각하게 위협하고 있다. 이에 디지털콘텐츠 권리의 원활한 거래와 확실한 요금부과, 보안대책, 부정이용 감시 등 저작권자와 이용자간의 가교역할을 할 수 있는 집중관리를 위한 디지털저작권관리시스템 구축이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 디지털콘텐츠의 원활한 유통을 지원할 수 있도록 집중관리제도의 도입을 위한 법적, 제도적 검토와 국내외 저작권집중관리제도의 현황을 파악하였다. 아울러 디지털콘텐츠 집중관리의 핵심이 되는 유일한 식별을 위한 식별체계와 데이터 요소의 표준화 및 디지털저작권관리(DRM) 검토를 통하여 디지털콘텐츠 저작권관리정보의 표준화에 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다.
Abstract
The rapidly increasing use of the Internet and advancement of the communication network, the explosive growth of digital contents from personal home pages to professional information service the emerging file exchange service and the development of hacking techniques . these are some of the trends contributing to the spread of illegal reproduction and distribution of digital contents, thus threatening the exclusive copyrights of the creative works that should be legally protected Accordingly, there is urgent need for a digital copyright management system designed to provide centralized management while playing the role of bridge between the copyright owners and users for smooth trading of the rights to digital contents, reliable billing, security measures, and monitoring of illegal use. Therefore, in this study, I examined the requirements of laws and systems for the introduction of the centralized management system to support smooth distribution of digital contents, and also researched on the current status of domestic and international centralized management system for copyrights. Furthermore, 1 tried to provide basic materials for the standardization of digital contents copyright management information through the examination of the essential elements of the centralized digital contents management such as the system for unique identification the standardization for data elements, and the digital rights management (DHM)

본 연구에서는 기존에 국내·국외에서 수행된 주요 웹사이트의 사용성 평가와 관련된 연구에 적용된 기준을 비교·분석하여, 우리나라 디지털도서관의 웹사이트 평가에 적용 가능한 일반적인 웹사이트 사용성 평가기준을 도출함으로써 향후 이용자 서비스의 품질향상을 통한 효율적인 웹서비스를 제공할 수 있기 위한 근거를 마련하고자 한다. 디지털도서관 웹사이트를 대상으로 한 사용성 평가기준은 서로 다른 수많은 특성과 목적을 가지고 운영되는 웹사이트에 일률적으로 적용되어질 수는 없다. 적용대상에 따라 평가 기준이 달라지거나 최소한 각 평각기준의 비중이 달라져야 할 것이다. 디지털도서관 웹사이트의 경우 대학도서관, 공공도서관, 전문도서관, 학교도서관 등 해당 분야별로 특성에 따른 웹사이트가 구축되어진다. 본 연구에서 제시한 디지털도서관 웹사이트 사용성 평가기준(안)은 일반적으로 준수해야 할 항목에서의 기준이라 할 수 있다
Abstract
This study is to develope the usability evaluation criteria for improving quality of user services in digital library website. It compared and analyzed major eight studies concerning usability evaluation of library website in foreign and domestic. This paper was suggested 36 items of evaluation criteria that are belongs to six domain(quality of links, feedback mechanism, accessibility, design, navigation and searching). 최근 정보기술 및 인터넷의 급속한 발전으로 지식정보 자원들이 디지털화 되어 인터넷을 통해 유통되고 있으나, 디지털콘텐츠의 위치, 내용 변경 등으로 인해 이용자 접근 및 이용에 문제가 발생하고 있으므로 표준 식별체계를 활용한 디지털콘텐츠의 식별 및 유통 방안의연구가 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 디지털콘텐츠의 효율적인 관리와 안전한 유통을 위한식별체계 기반의 정보유통체제 구축에 기여하는데 있다. 이에 본 연구는 식별체계 개요, 활용사례, 유통모델의 조사와 정보유통 현황을 분석하고, KISTI 고유식별체계, 식별시스템 및 유통시스템 구축 방안 등을 제시하고 있다.
Abstract
With the rapid development of information technology and internet in these days, resources of knowledge information have been digitalized and distributed on the internet. However, the location of digital content and a change of content have generated problems for users access and services. In line with this regard, the research on the identification of digital content utilizing standardized identification system and distribution system is necessary. This study intends to contribute to the implementation of information system based on standard digital identifier for the effective management and safe distribution of digital contents. This study first tries to survey SDI outline, practical application case and distributed business model and to analyze information distribution status. Finally, this study tries to draw up a plan for the establishment of KISTI's SDl. content identification system, content distribution system.

시민의 정보화 수준 향상을 위해 현재 서울특별시립의 공공도서관에서는 디지털 자료실을 개실하여 인터넷과 DVD 위성방송 등 다양한 전자정보원과 정보서비스를 제공하고 있으며 향후 더 많은 컨텐츠들로 서비스 할 계획이다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 서울특별시립 공공도서관 디지털 자료실의 활성화를 위해, S 도서관 전자정보실을 대상으로 마케팅 전략을 적용하여 디지털 자료실의 운영을 보다 체계화하여 정보서비스를 활성화하며, 궁극적으로 보다 많은 이용자를 확보하여, 이용률을 높이고 공공도서관의 정보서비스 경쟁력을 높이는 방안을 제시하고자 하였다.
Abstract
Seoul City has been operating 17 public libraries to bridge the digital gap in the information society. Digital collection that has used recently, is providing various information services and information sources such as Internet. DVDs, satellite broadcasts and plan to offer service with more contents in the near future. In an attempt to facilitate the use of digital archives in public libraries in Seoul, this study thus applies marketing strategy to Electronic Information Center in the S Library and techniques can contribute a dynamic approach to total strategy development for library professionals that will ensure effective management and the achievement for their goals.

인터넷시대가 되면서 정보량이 기하급수적으로 증가하였으며, 도서관 소장 자료 중 전자형태의 자료가 차지하는 비중이 점차 증가함에 따라 최신 정보자료의 신속한 입수 및 활용이 그 어느 때보다 중요시 되는 시기가 되었다. 디지털 도서관에서 이러한 요구를 충족시킬 수 있도록 최신 정보자료를 신속하고 정확하게 최종 이용자에게 제공할 수 있는 방법 중의 하나가 SDI서비스라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 웹의 등장으로 중요성이 부각된 SDI 서비스의 국내 대학에서의 활용 현황을 설문조사를 통하여 조사 분석하고, 개선방안 및 정보서비스 제공범위 확대 방안을 제시하고자 하였다.
Abstract
As commercialization of the Internet has brought flood of information and the proportion of electronic source in the library collection has been gradually increasing, it is highly important for the library to quickly obtain and utilize the latest information. SDI service is expected to fulfill the needs providing the latest information swiftly and accurately to the digital library users. This study seeks to analyze the current standing of practical application of the SDI service in the universities of South Korea based on surveys and make a proposal on the advancement and extension of the SDI service.
