공공도서관에서 이용자의 지적․문화적 욕구를 충족시키기 위해 제공하는 문화 프로그램의 하나로 전시의 비중이 높아지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 공공도서관에서 운영하는 순회전시 운영 방식과 홍보 방법의 차이를 알아보고 순회전시의 이용 정도에 따른 이용자의 인식 차이를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 ‘책 속 인물에게 보내는 한글 손 편지’ 수상작 순회전시를 연구 프로그램으로 선정하여 5개 공공도서관의 이용자 총 385명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 순회전시의 운영 방식에 따라 전시 이용에 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며, ‘전시 홍보물’과 ‘도서관 홈페이지’는 순회전시 홍보를 위한 유용한 수단으로 나타났다. 또한 순회전시를 적극적으로 이용한 이용자의 도서관 이용, 순회전시 효과, 순회전시 평가가 소극적인 이용자보다 높게 나타났다. 분석 결과를 통해 순회전시의 이용을 높일 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.
Abstract
Public libraries provide a variety of services for users to meet their intellectual and cultural needs. Thus, the proportion of exhibitions as one of the cultural programs offered by the libraries has been increasing. The purpose of this study is to find out the differences of operation method and promotion method of traveling exhibition hosted by public libraries and to verify the differences of users’ perception according to the degree of use of the traveling exhibition. For this purpose, a research program, the traveling exhibition of the award-winning works: the Hangeul Hand Letters to the People in Books of the National Library for Children and Young Adults, was selected. A survey was conducted on a total of 385 users from five public libraries. As a result, there were significant differences in the use of traveling exhibition among library users, depending on the operation method of traveling exhibition of the public libraries. And, the ‘promotional material’ and ‘library homepage’ were proven to be a useful way to promote the traveling exhibition. Also, the overall use of library, the effect of traveling exhibition, and the evaluation of traveling exhibition of the users who actively used the traveling exhibition were higher than those of the users who passively used it. Based on the findings, methods to increase the use of the traveling exhibition were suggested.

5G 시대 단말기의 다양화, 고화질 및 몰입형 중심의 SNS 전개로 동영상 중심의 소셜 미디어 패러다임이 계속적으로 심화되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 공공도서관에서 운영되고 있는 유튜브 채널의 운영과 제공 콘텐츠 현황에 대한 분석을 통해 다양한 활용 전략과 방안을 제안하는 데 있다. 본 연구에서는 도서관 유튜브 채널을 개설 및 운영하고 있는 국내의 44개 도서관과 구독자 수 1,000명 이상 도서관 유튜브 채널을 활발하게 활용하고 있는 국외 도서관 12개를 대상으로, 도서관 유튜브 채널의 구독자 수, 조회 수, 비디오 수 데이터 현황, 그리고 콘텐츠 내용과 전달 방식을 조사하였다. 분석 결과를 종합하여, 1) 도서관 유튜브 채널만이 가지는 특수성과 목적성을 확보, 2) 유튜브 채널의 홍보 및 접근성 제고, 3) 공공도서관에서 개설 및 운영하는 유튜브 채널임을 명시, 4) 이용자 친화적인 인터페이스로의 개선, 5) 도서관 전문성과 교육적 콘텐츠를 기획 및 제공, 6) 통합 유튜브 채널의 운영, 7) 이용자 기반 콘텐츠 제공 등의 도서관 유튜브 채널 활용방안을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The social media paradigm centered on videos continues to deepen due to the diversification of 5G devices, high-definition and immersive SNS. The purpose of this study is to propose various utilization strategies and measures through the analysis of the current status of YouTube channel operation and provided contents operated in public libraries. In this study, 44 libraries in Korea that have opened and operated Library YouTube Channel and 12 libraries that actively utilize library YouTube channels with more than 1,000 subscribers were surveyed for the current status of subscribers, views, video count data, and contents and delivery methods of Library YouTube Channel. Based on the analysis results, the library’s YouTube channel was proposed to utilize the library’s YouTube channel, 1) to secure the specificity and purpose of the library’s YouTube channel, 2) to promote and enhance access to the YouTube channel, 3) to improve the YouTube channel to user-friendly interface, 5) to plan and provide library expertise and educational contents, 6) to operate the integrated YouTube channel, and 7) to provide user-based content.

도서관 LOD가 확산되지 못하는 현시점에서, 본 연구의 목적은 국내 도서관 LOD의 발행과 구축에 대한 현황을 살펴보고, 그 개선방안을 모색하기 위한 것이다. 사용한 연구방법은 문헌연구, 사례조사, 전문가 면담이다. 본 연구에서 제시된 개선방안은 첫째 도서관은 LOD 구축 대상의 중복을 피하고, 유일하고 특화된 자료를 구축할 필요가 있다. 둘째 도서관은 이용자 요구를 반영한 LOD 서비스를 개발하고, 편리한 LOD 인터페이스를 구현할 필요가 있다. 셋째 도서관은 데이터의 식별체계를 마련하고 전거파일을 구축할 필요가 있다. 넷째 도서관은 사서나 이용자에게 데이터 개방과 연계의 필요성을 인식시키고, 이를 위한 교육과 홍보의 기회를 제공할 필요가 있다. 다섯째 도서관은 통합 검색을 위해 LOD를 활용하고, 도서관 LOD를 검색할 수 있는 통합 플랫폼을 마련할 필요가 있다. 여섯째 도서관은 LOD 발행과 활용을 위한 협력을 강화하고, 실무협의체를 구성할 필요가 있다. 일곱째 정부는 LOD 추진에 대한 지속적인 의지로 강력한 정책을 추진해야 하며, 계속해서 예산 지원을 할 필요가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find the cause and solution of the situation where library LOD does not spread after the introduction of library LOD. Research methods include literature research, case studies, and expert interviews. The improvement plan presented in this study is that first, the library needs to avoid the redundancy of the LOD construction target and build the only and specialized data. Second, libraries need to develop LOD services that reflect user needs and implement convenient LOD interfaces. Third, libraries need to establish identification system of data and build a authority file. Fourth, libraries need to recognize the necessity of data opening and linking to librarians and users, and provide opportunities for education and publicity. Fifth, it is necessary to use LOD for integrated search and to establish an integrated platform for search of library LOD. Sixth, libraries need to strengthen cooperation for LOD issuance and utilization, and form a working-level consultative body. Seventh, the government should pursue strong policies with a continuous commitment to LOD promotion and need to continue to provide budget support.

본 연구에서 제안되는 세종시립도서관 정보서비스 및 프로그램은 국내 지역대표도서관 및 해외도서관 사례들을 종합하여 제안한다. 제안의 특징으로 첫째, 세종시립도서관에서 제공가능한 정보서비스를 영역별, 이용자별, 자료 유형별, 매체별, 협력기관별 등으로 다양하게 제안한다. 둘째, 생애주기별 이용자프로그램을 강화하여 독서토론, 독서체험, 독서 이벤트 등의 다양한 연령별․관심별 독서 프로그램을 제공한다. 성인, 어린이, 가족프로그램 등 세종시 인구 특성을 반영한 이용자 기반의 프로그램을 강화한다. 셋째, 메이커스페이스 공간을 확보하여 활용한다. 넷째, 세종시립도서관에서 개발한 독서 프로그램을 지역 도서관과 협력하여 홍보 및 공유한다. 다섯째, 세종시 지역주민의 봉사 활동 및 재능 기부 등의 참여를 유도한다. 여섯째, 도서관 웹사이트, 소셜 미디어 등을 활용한 도서관 정보서비스를 제안하고, 이용자와의 상호 협력 채널을 개발한다.
Abstract
Sejong City Library information services and programs proposed in this study are proposed by combining cases of local representative libraries and overseas libraries. As a feature of the proposal, first, various information services that can be provided by the Sejong City Library are proposed by area, by user, by data type, by media, by partner institution, etc. Second, by reinforcing user programs for each life cycle, various reading programs by age and interest, such as reading discussion, reading experience, and reading events, are provided. Reinforce user-based programs that reflect the characteristics of Sejong City’s population, such as adult, child, and family programs. Third, secure and utilize maker space space. Fourth, the reading program developed by the Sejong City Library is promoted and shared in cooperation with local libraries. Fifth, induce participation of local residents in Sejong City, volunteer activities and talent donation. Sixth, propose library information services using library websites and social media, and develop channels for mutual cooperation with users.
