초록

본 연구는 유럽국가(스웨덴, 영국, 프랑스)의 국가도서관, 공공도서관, 장애인도서관을 각각 방문하여 도서관정책 및 정보서비스에 대한 질적 데이터를 수집하고 이를 분석하였다. 이를 통해 장애인을 위한 우리나라 도서관서비스의 정책을 현장에 적용시키기 위하여 고려해야 할 점을 제언하였다. 국립장애인도서관지원센터는 일관된 정책과 실행력을 갖출 수 있도록 전문기관으로 독립해야 하며, 민간장애인도서관의 역사성과 전문성이 계승될 수 있도록 지원해야 한다. 국가, 공공, 장애인도서관 및 학교, 대학도서관과의 협력적 체제정비로 대체자료 개발, 통합목록 및 전문서비스 개발이 요구되며, 도서관 내적인 협력뿐만 아니라 외적인 환경인 사회적 제도, 법적 제도 및 장애인관련단체, 지방자치단체 등의 협력 속에서 발전할 수 있도록 해야 한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to present suggestions for Korean libraries for disabled person after collecting and analyzing qualitative data upon library policies of national libraries, public libraries and libraries for disabled person in European countries including Sweden, UK and France. Korean national library support center for the disabled should be independent in order to have consistent policy and ability for its execution. It should also support private libraries for the disabled in inheriting professionalism and accumulated history. Developing alternative material, integrated catalogue and professional service is required by cooperative and systematic arrangements among national and public libraries for disabled person including schools and university libraries. Also, it should be able to grow not only on the basis of internal cooperation among libraries but also with the help of external organizations like social and legal systems, organizations related with the disabled and regional self governing bodies.

DLS(Digital Library System)는 학교도서관 관리자(사서교사)와 최종 이용자(일반교사 및 학생)에게 애플리케이션 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 교육인적자원부에서 개발한 학교도서관 정보시스템이다. DLS는 현재 15개 시도교육청에 설치되어 있으며, 시도교육청 관내의 초중등학교에 서비스를 제공하고 있다. DLS는 서비스를 개시한지 2년 이상이 지났기 때문에 이용 실태와 현황을 분석하여 향후 학교도서관 관리자, 학생 및 교사를 대상으로 이용실태와 요구사항을 조사하여 향후 개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Abstract

DLS(Digital Library System) have ben established by Ministry o Resources Development for providing the application services to each school library managers(teacher librarian) and front end users such as student s and teachers. DLS's are separately operated by 15 major metropolitan or provincial office of education to cover all elementary, midle and high schols in Korea. There is a necess current status of DLS because it's system after starting a service 2 years passed. This study suggested to improvements strategies of DLS by survey from teac her librarian, subject teacher, students of 308 schools.

본 연구는 사회 네트워크 분석 기법을 통하여 K대학도서관의 학술DB 이용현황을 분석하고 이용자의 요구에 적합한 서비스를 개발 및 제공하고자 하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위하여 K대학 도서관의 학술DB 로그 데이터를 이용하여 학문분야별, 신분별, 학문분야 및 신분별 학술DB 네트워크를 구성하고 실증 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 전임교원의 학술DB 네트워크와 박사과정의 학술DB 네트워크는 특화된 학술DB를 중심으로 강한 결속력을 보이고 있으며 다른 신분의 학술DB 네트워크보다 밀도, 연결정도 집중도 및 연결정도 중심성이 높게 나타났다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the usage pattern between each academic database through social network analysis, and to support the academic database for users's needs. For this purpose, we have extracted log data to construct the academic database networks in the proxy server of K university library and have analyzed the usage pattern among each research area and among each social position. Our results indicate that the specialized academic database for the research area has more cohesion than the generalized academic database in the full-time professors' network and the doctoral students' network, and the density, degree centrality and degree centralization of the full-time professors' network and the doctoral students' network are higher than those of the other social position networks.

이 연구에서는 K대학의 대학교수 및 일반대학원 재학생 367명을 대상으로 설문지법을 이용하여 전자저널의 이용행태와 전자저널의 서비스품질(서비스의 적합성, 이용의 편리성, 홍보, 이용교육) 및 무료이용지각이 고객만족에 미치는 영향과 이러한 고객만족이 전자저널에 대한 충성도, 도서관 방문빈도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 이용자들은 대략 6 : 4의 비율로 전자저널을 선호하고, 이용 및 검색, 접근의 편리성을 전자저널 선호의 주된 이유로 들었다. 전자저널의 서비스품질의 각 차원은 고객만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 무료이용지각은 유의수준 .1에서 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 고객만족은 충성도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 도서관 방문빈도에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

Abstract

This study analyzed the user behaviors of the electronic journal users and the influences of service quality of electronic journals on the customer satisfactions, customer loyalty, and frequency of visit to the library building. Approximately 60 percent of users prefer e-journal to printed formats. Service quality of electronic journal was measured by four dimensions: reliability of service, convenience of service, public relations, and user instructions. 100 faculty members and 267 graduate school students were surveyed using questionnaires. It was concluded that each dimensions of service quality positively influenced on the customer satisfactions, and customer satisfaction positively influenced on loyalty, and negatively on frequency of visit to the library building.

학술과 문화 기반의 비이념적 정보교류협력은 비정치적이면서도 장기적 관점에서 민족 동질성과 신뢰회복에 가장 효과적일 수 있는 남북한 협력사업의 영역이라 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 통일 한국을 대비하여 단계적인 남북한 협력기반 조성을 위해 국가도서관을 매개로 한 남북 문화교류협력에 관한 방안들을 조사 분석하였다. 관련하여 북한도서관의 기능과 한계 및 현재적 관점에서의 사회적 활용성을 살펴보고, 그간의 도서관교류협력사업을 남북한 문화분야 협력사업이라는 틀안에서 검토하였다. 이에 협력 거버넌스 체계구축 등 다섯 가지 협력안을 기반으로 남북 도서관교류협력의 단계적 모형을 제안하였다.

Abstract

Non-ideological information exchange and cooperation based on the scholarly and cultural fields would be the most effective project of south and north Korea for gaining the national homogeneity and trust in the long-term perspective. In this context, this study researched the measures on cultural exchange and cooperation between south and north through national libraries for the unified Korea. Related with that issue, this study analyzed function and limitation of national library in north Korea and evaluated library cooperation between south and north Korea in the frame of cultural cooperation project. So, this study suggested the stepwise model of the library cooperation between south and north based on the five practical measures including the cooperation governance system.

본 연구는 기업의 독서경영과 문화경영이 직원의 직무만족과 조직몰입을 높이는 데 도움이 된다는 선행연구들을 기반으로, 공공도서관 직원의 독서활동이 직무만족도와 조직몰입도에 미치는 영향에 대하여 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 설문조사를 통해 수집된 데이터의 분석결과, 이용자 독서모임 참여 정도에 따라 직무자체 만족도, 인간관계 만족도, 자아실현 만족도, 정서적 몰입도, 지속적 몰입도에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 또한 공공도서관 직원의 독서량, 독서시간은 직무자체 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 독서시간은 정서적 몰입도에도 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이용자 독서모임 참여 기간은 사회적 인식 만족도, 지속적 몰입도, 규범적 몰입도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 직무자체 만족도는 독서시간과 정서적 몰입도 간에 완전매개효과를 가지고 있었고, 사회적 인식 만족도는 이용자 독서모임 참여기간과 지속적 몰입도 및 규범적 몰입도 간에 완전매개효과를 가졌다. 이러한 결과에 따라 본 연구는 공공도서관의 독서경영 도입을 통한 직원 독서환경 조성을 위한 방안을 다음과 같이 제시하였다. 첫째, 공공도서관 운영진의 독서경영에 대한 적극적인 관심이 필요하며, 직원들의 독서활동을 위한 다양한 프로그램을 제공해야 한다. 둘째, 공공도서관은 직원들의 이용자 독서모임에 참여를 도모하고, 담당 직원은 지속적으로 참여할 수 있도록 지원해야 한다. 셋째, 공공도서관 직원들의 적극적인 독서활동을 위한 기관 차원의 지속적인 동기부여가 필요하다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of reading activity of employees in public libraries on their job satisfaction and organizational commitment which was suggested by previous studies proving the relationship among the variables in the business area. The results from the survey indicate that there were significant differences in job satisfaction, satisfaction with human relationship, satisfaction of self-realization, affective commitment, and continuance commitment in terms of the frequency of participation in a book club. Additionally, the number of employees’ reading books and hours spent for reading significantly influenced their job satisfaction and the hours spent for reading significantly influenced affective commitment. It was also found that participation continuity for a book club influenced on satisfaction level of social recognition, continuance commitment, and normative commitment. Job satisfaction level had a complete mediation effect between reading hours and affective commitment, and satisfaction from social recognition had a complete mediation effect between participation continuity in a reading meeting, continuance commitment, and normative commitment. Based on these results, this study suggests a plan for constructing a good environment for employees to read through introducing a reading management as follows. Firstly, managers of public libraries need to take an active interest in reading management and various programs to encourage employees to read need to be provided. Secondly, public libraries are required to encourage their employees’ participation in book clubs and support them, so that the employees are able to participate in the book club consistently. Finally, institution-level consistent motivation is needed for an active reading activity.

본 연구는 오늘날 점차 확장되고 있는 스마트폰을 통한 정보서비스에 대한 이용자 인식과 요구를 알아보았으며, 특히 관련 연구나 서비스 제공이 미흡한 공공도서관에 중점을 두었다. 연구를 위해서는 공공도서관 이용자를 대상으로 설문조사와 면접을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 공공도서관 이용자들은 스마트폰을 통해 도서관 정보서비스를 이용하는 것에 대해 긍정적인 인식과 함께 e-Contents 서비스에 대한 높은 기대를 나타냈다. 그러나 이용자들은 스마트폰이 기존 정보서비스의 혁신을 가져오는 것이 아니라 정보서비스에 대한 또 하나의 접근점으로 작용할 것이라고 인식하고 있었다.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine how users view information services that use today’s rapidly expanding smart phones and what their demands are. The research focus is specifically on public libraries where related studies or the provision of services is still lacking. For this study, users of public libraries were targeted for surveys and interviews. The results that Public library users showed positive views on using library information services and e-contents service on smart phones. But the users viewed smart phones as another point of access in accessing information services, not as something revolutionary to the existing library information services.

Abstract

This thesis is the study of the relationship between school libraries and academic achievement. This thesis defines research areas between school libraries and academic achievement, analyzes the representative related thesis, and them partly applies meta-analysis methodology. This thesis present research sciences, research methodologies, statistical techniques, and research pursuit pertinent to Korea for the sceitific research between school libraries and academic achievement. In the future, to develop school libraries in the long term, in-depth academic research must be developed. The focus of the research should include the MLS and Ph.D. thesis of education of information and library as a subject matter' field to analyze the relationship between school libraries and academic achievement.

영상자료는 점차 도서관에서 중요한 장서의 일부가 되어가고 있으며 특히 공공도서관에서는 이러한 영상자료를 기반으로 다양한 문화프로그램을 운영하고 있다. 그러나 영상자료와 관련하여 저작권에서는 공연의 개념을 적용하여 공연범위를 일부 제한하고 있으며 도서관의 영상자료 사용에 대한 저작권 단체의 저작권료에 대한 요청도 논의되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 시점에서 도서관에서 실질적으로 영상자료를 다루고 있는 사서들이 저작권과 관련하여 인식하고 있는 문제점과 저작권료 지불에 대한 대응 의견을 조사하고자 하였다. 또한 부가적으로 영상자료의 중요성과 영상자료 관리상의 문제점도 분석하였다. 인식조사를 위한 설문은 대학 및 공공도서관을 대상으로 하여 총 292개의 응답을 받아 분석을 하였으며 2013년 5월 8일부터 6월 7일까지 총 한 달간 조사를 수행하였다. 분석결과 사서들은 영상자료 및 영상자료 서비스가 중요하다고 인지하고 있으며 판매용 영상물 상영에 대한 저작권 면책 조건에 대한 사항도 파악하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 발행일 6개월 미만의 영상자료 사용료를 지불하는 체제에 대해서는 부정적 의견을 보이고 있어 실질적으로 저작권료를 지불하는 체제를 도입할 의사는 없는 것으로 나타났다.

Abstract

Cinematographic works are crucial for libraries as a part of their collections. Especially public libraries provide a variety of programs associated with cinematographic works. Copyright law considers the use of cinematographic works as a type of public performance and restricted it under certain conditions such as the released date. In addition, copyright agency challenged libraries to pay fees for cinematographic works released within 6 months. At this point, this study investigated the perception of librarians on cinematographic works and copyright issues. 292 librarians in public and academic libraries answers the questionnaire form May 8th to June 7th, 2013. In result, librarians consider services of video works as a important part of library services. They are also conscious of the exception conditions for copyright law for cinematographic works provided by library services. Furthermore, even though librarians are aware of copyright issues, they show the negative response to copyright fees for playing cinematographic works in the libraries.

이 연구는 의학도서관 이용자의 대출기록을 이용하여 자료이용행태를 분석하고 이를 통해 이용자를 위한 효율적인 장서구성과 도서관서비스 개선에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 A 의학도서관에서 2012년부터 2014년까지 최근 3년간 발생한 대출기록 90,420건의 신분별/주제별 대출 통계와 상위 대출빈도 도서, 상호대차 서비스 이용 데이터를 수집하여 분석하였다. 연구 대상은 학부생과 대학원생, 교수직, 수련직, 일반직을 포함한 병원 직원을 대상으로 하였다. 그 결과, 의학도서관 이용자들은 기술과학 분야의 자료와 문학자료, 사회과학 분야 자료를 집중적으로 대출하였다. 특히 장서구성대비 문학자료에 대한 요구가 상대적으로 다른 주제 영역에 비해 높았다.

Abstract

The aim of this study is supporting efficient development of library collection and improvement of library service for users by analyzing utilization patterns of library collection using circulation statistics of medical library users. With this purpose, circulation statistics were extracted from 90,420 cases of circulation records in A library for recent 3 years (from 2012 to 2014). Specifically, circulation data categorized according to status and subject, loan data of most popular books and use data of inter-library loan service were collected and analyzed. Subject groups of this study are undergraduate students, graduate students and incumbent hospital employees including faculty members, training members and nondoctor members. For the result, medical library users intensively lent materials of Technology (Applied Sciences), Literature and Social science areas. Especially, the demand of the materials of literature was higher than the demand of the other subject areas compared in the base of collection development.
