본 연구에서는 교과서전문도서관의 활성화를 위해 교과서전문도서관의 서비스를 통합하여 제공할 수 있는 포털사이트의 구축방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국내․외 교과서전문도서관 및 포털사이트 구축․운영 관련 선행연구 관련사례를 조사․분석하였고, 이를 기반으로 설문을 개발하여 교과서 관련 정보의 이용자를 대상으로 설문을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 교과서종합목록 및 각종 콘텐츠 구축, 소장자료의 디지털화 프로젝트 수행, 교과서관련 각종 참고자료 수집 및 제공, 주제별 교과서정보 데이터베이스 구축, 교과서 관련 연구출판물의 통합수집 및 제공, 교과서 관련 기관과의 협력네트워크 구축, 포털사이트의 적극적인 홍보 등이 교과서관련 전문도서관의 활성화를 위해 요구되는 사업으로 분석되었다.
Abstract
In this study, we propose an approach of building a portal site that can offer integrated services for textbook through special libraries For this purpose, we analyzed previous related studies and investigated textbook portal construction sites domestically and abroad. Based on this research, we developed survey questions and conducted a survey targeting users of textbook libraries. As a result, the following projects are required for creating a textbook library: a comprehensive list of textbooks and other content construction, digitization projects of library holdings, collection and delivery of various textbook-related reference books, building a textbook database by topic, collecting and providing textbook-related research publications, a cooperation network with textbook-related organizations, and active promotion of portal sites.

국가도서관은 문화유산의 일환으로 국가의 출판물을 망라적으로 수집하고 보존한다. 본 연구는 서지대조법을 활용하여 국립중앙도서관의 판매도서 포괄성을 측정하였다. 2007년과 2008년 출판 도서에 대해 교보문고 판매용목록을 기준서지로 설정하고 10%를 체계적으로 표집한 후, 국립중앙도서관 온라인목록을 탐색함으로써 수록 비율을 측정하였다. 탐색 시점에서, 2007년 출판 도서의 포괄성은 92.25%, 2008년 출판 도서의 포괄성은 78.10%, 누적 포괄성은 85.16%로 나타났다. 주제별 분석에 따라 포괄성이 낮은 분야를 알 수 있었고, 미소장도서의 출판사 규모를 분석하였으며, 국내외 선행연구 결과와 포괄성을 비교하였다. 납본지연 등 불완전한 수집의 원인이 식별되었으며, 포괄성 향상 및 후속 연구를 위하여 제언하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of the national library is to collect all publications as part of the national heritage and preserve them. This study is undertaken to determine the coverage of the book collection of the National Library of Korea. Bibliographies for the year 2007 and 2008 publications are obtained from the Kyobo Book Centre and sampled 10 % systematically to be used as checklists. Coverage was determined by searching the citations against the OPAC of the National Library of Korea. Results indicate 92.25% of coverage for the books published in 2008, 78.10% coverage for the books published in 2007, and the cumulative coverage is 85.16%. The analysis shows time lag and subject fields with low coverage. Results are compared with previous studies. Reasons for the unpossessed books, such as delay of deposit and publisher characteristics, are identified. Recommendations for the coverage improvements and future research are suggested.

능력중심의 사회가 도래함에 따라 사서직이 고숙련의 전문직으로 전문성강화를 하기 위하여 직무분석을 통하여 국립중앙도서관사서의 핵심직무를 도출하고, 전문사서의 유형을 개발하였다. 직무분석 결과 국립중앙도서관사서의 업무는 22개의 책무와 216개의 작업이며, 96개의 핵심업무로 구성되었다. 이를 체계적 교육과정개발을 위한 교육과정 우선순위 결정도구에 의하여 분석하고, 현장의 수요를 반영한 결과 기능별 10종, 이용대상별 2종을 제안하였다. 제안된 유형은 다음과 같다:장서개발전문사서, 분류ㆍ목록전문사서, 정보조사제공전문사서, 독서전문사서, 국제표준(ISO/TC, ISBN, ISSN, CIP)연구전문사서, DB전문가 및 시스템전문사서, 국내협력지원전문사서, 국제교류전문사서, 도서관마케팅전문사서, 교육설계전문사서, 어린이 전문사서, 장애인서비스 전문사서.
Abstract
Analyzing out the Key Tasks and Developing the Professional Type of National Librarians through Job Analysis was made, because improving the professionalism of librarians is the strategy of survival in the competency based society. It is composed of 22 duties, 216 tasks of national librarian job and 96 key tasks is extracted among them. As the results, 12 types of professional librarian which is composed 10 function oriented types, and 2 user oriented types, is suggested: collection development librarian, catalogerㆍtaxonomist, information service librarian, reading coach, research librarian of international standards, database & system manager, international work librarian, national support librarian, marketing librarian, library literacy librarian, children' librarian, handicapped service librarian.
