본 연구는 GMD를 대체하는 RDA 자원유형인 내용유형, 매체유형, 수록매체유형의 디스플레이를 위한 고려사항을 모색하고자 한다. 연구방법으로는 문헌연구, 사례조사, 설문조사를 이용하였다. RDA 자원유형의 디스플레이 방안으로 첫째, RDA 자원유형을 디스플레이하기 위해 내용유형과 수록매체유형을 결합하는 것을 제안하였다. 둘째, RDA 내용유형과 수록매체유형을 아이콘화하는 알고리즘으로 내용유형을 나타내는 이미지와 수록매체유형 용어를 결합하는 방안과 내용유형과 수록매체유형을 모두 이미지로 표현하고 각 이미지에 해당하는 용어를 포함시키는 방안을 제안하였다. 셋째, 복합자원의 자원유형 디스플레이를 위해 필드링크와 순서를 나타내는 서브필드를 활용하여 내용유형, 수록매체유형이 세트로 유지될 수 있도록 제안하였다. 넷째, 간략화면에서 자원유형을 나타내는 아이콘은 자원이 디스플레이되는 왼쪽 상단에 두고, 상세화면에서는 자원유형을 기술사항 내에 배치하는 것을 제안하였다. 다섯째, 표출어로 ‘포맷’이라는 표현을 사용할 것을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 RDA 자원유형의 디스플레이를 계획할 때 고려사항을 제시하였으므로 도서관에서 실질적인 RDA 디스플레이 방안 마련에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This study was to find the display considerations of RDA resource type - content type, media type, and carrier type. The Literature review, the case study, and the survey were used as the research method. 5 display strategies were suggested in this study. First, content and carrier types were better displayed than all 3 types of RDA resources. Second, two kinds of algorithm should be considered for RDA resource icon display. One was the combination of the terms of carrier types plus content types icon. The other was the combination of carrier types icon and content types icon in which the terms reflecting types must be included. Third, the subfield of 33x must be used for the paired display of content type and carrier type of multi-types resources. Fourth, in brief display, resource type icon was better positioned on the left and upper side and in detailed display, resource types were better located in description area. Fifth, ‘format’ was used as display indication phrase. This study would contribute to the design for the resource display by suggesting the practical display considerations of RDA resource type.
초록
이 연구는 IFLA에서 연구되고 있는 ‘전거데이터의 기능상의 요건’(FRAD)을 FRAR에서의 변화 양상을 중심으로 명확히 이해하기 위한 것이다. 또한 FRAD가 RDA와 MARC21에 끼친 영향을 분석함으로 FRAD와 관련 규칙과의 관계를 정립하였고, 전거제어를 위한 IFLA의 활동에 비추어 국내 전거제어 관련 목록 규칙과 포맷, 주요 전거DB구축 현황을 검토하였다. 이런 분석을 토대로 국내 전거제어 표준을 위한 고려사항으로 접근점제어방식, 적용범위 확대, 개체-관계 모형과 같은 새로운 접근방식의 도입, 국가서지작성기관의 역할 강화 등을 살펴보았다. 이 연구결과는 전거제어를 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This study aims to clearly understand ‘Functional Requisite of Authority Data(FRAD)’ being studied by IFLA focused on aspect of change from FRAR. In addition, it has established relationship between FRAD and concerned rules by analyzing effect of FRAD on RDA and MARC21 and reviewed cataloguing rules, format and situations of major authority DB implementations concerned about domestic authority controls in reflection of IFLA’s activities for authority control. Based on the analysis, it has looked into considerations for domestic authority controls standards such as access control methods, expansion of application scope, introduction of new approaches such as entity-relationship model, reinforcement of roles for national bibliographic agency. These study results would be utilized as basic data for authority control.

최근 국가기록원은 표준영구기록관리시스템 개발 계획을 검토하였다. 서울시 등의 지방기록물관리기관 건립에 따라 경제적이고 효율적인 영구기록관리시스템 구축을 지원하기 위함이다. 또한 국가기록원은 디지털 아카이브 구축과 전문인력 양성을 위해 한국정보화진흥원과 업무협약을 체결하였다. 이러한 움직임은 디지털 아카이브에 대한 국내 수요에 기반한 것이다. 이 연구의 목적은 국내의 디지털 아카이브 시스템 구축 수요에 대응하여 지속 가능하며 효율적인 시스템 구축 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 국내외 디지털 아카이브 시스템 현황과 공개 소프트웨어 분석 프로젝트를 조사하였다. 도출된 시사점을 바탕으로 디지털 아카이브 시스템 구축을 위한 기능 모듈 도출 방법과 각 기능모듈에 공개 소프트웨어를 활용하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 공개 소프트웨어 기반으로 시스템을 설계할 때 필요한 재정적, 운영적 요건과 모듈 간의 연계 등 기술적 고려사항을 정리하였다.
Abstract
Recently, National Archives of Korea has planned to develop the Standard Archive Management System, to make it economical and efficient in accordance with the local archives establishments by Seoul Metropolitan City. Also, the institution signed the MOU with National Information Society Agency to set up a digital archive system and foster professional archival manpower. These movements are rooted on the current domestic demands for digital archive systems. Keeping pace with it, the purpose of this study is suggesting feasible ways to establish the sustainable and efficient archive systems. To this end, a status study on the existing digital archive systems at both domestic and overseas bases was carried out, with the many of open source software analysis. Based on the primary implications of this study, to implement the digital archive system, functional module deducting methods and an open source software application process on each module were designed. Financial, operational and technical considerations such as the links between modules are also considered.
