초록
본 연구에서는 도서관 개인정보 가이드라인(안)을 제안하되, 관종을 구분하지 않고 어느 도서관에서나 적용가능하도록 하였다. 개개 도서관은 이 가이드라인(안)을 기초로 하여 자관의 실정에 맞게 수정․보완하여 사용할 수 있도록 하였다. 목적, 용어정의, 개인정보의 범위, 관련법 및 정책, 일반적인 내용, 도서관의 업무수행상 개인정보처리, 도서관의 외주업체 등으로 구분하여 도서관 개인정보보호 가이드라인을 개발하였으며, 개정된 「개인정보 보호법」 시행에 따른 도서관의 대처방향 마련, 개인정보처리지침의 도서관 최적화, 관련법령에의 반영, 도서관 개인정보 가이드라인 표준화 지향 등을 고려하였다.
Abstract
This study was designed to propose library privacy guidelines to be applicable in any library without distinguishing library types. Individual libraries can refine, modify, and use them to fit their situation, using the guidelines as a base. The library privacy protection guidelines developed in this study are composed of purposes, definitions, scope of privacy, law and policy, general information, the library’s job performance on the handling of personal information, and library subcontractors. The development objectives and utilization direction of the library privacy guidelines developed in this study are meant to provide a guide for change according to the amended provision of library “Privacy Act” implementation, optimization of library Privacy Directive, a reflection of the relevant laws and regulations, and the standardization-oriented library privacy guidelines.

본 연구는 구술자료 아카이브 정보시스템 설계를 위하여 구술기록물의 생산, 수집절차, 접근의 용이성, 저작권 등에 대하여 논의하였으며, 웹 구술사료 아카이브 설계 구축을 위한 기본 방안과 평가를 위한 가이드라인을 개발함으로써 웹 구술사료 아카이브 구축을 위해 활용 가능한 기준을 제시해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 평가 프레임워크를 기반으로 국내외 웹 구술사료 아카이브 5개 기관을 선정하여 연구자가 제시한 평가용 가이드라인을 적용하여 사례분석을 하였다. 여기에서 얻어진 결과를 바탕으로 국내의 웹 구술사료 아카이브 정보시스템 구축을 위한 개선점을 논의하였다.
Abstract
This study discussed on production, procedures of collection, accessibility, copyright of archival records for designing oral history archive information system, and aimed to suggest practical standards by developing guidelines for evaluation and building of web oral history archives. For this, based on evaluation framework, guidelines for evaluation designed by researchers were applied to five domestic and foreign web oral history archives as case study analysis. Base on the results of the analysis, some possible suggestions were made for building successful web oral history archive information system in Korea.

최근 IT 기술의 급속한 성장과 함께 도서관의 내외부 환경도 급속하게 변화됨에 따라 도서관의 경쟁력을 높일 수 있는 마케팅 활동과 전략들이 요구되고 있다. 도서관 이용자들의 만족도 향상노력과 이용률을 높이기 위한 연구들이 꾸준히 진행되어 왔지만 도서관 성과를 높이기 위한 마케팅전략에 관한 연구는 아직 미미하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 체계적인 프레임워크를 기반으로 도서관 마케팅전략에 영향을 미치는 내부 및 외부 환경요인이 무엇인지 그리고 도서관 성과에 영향을 미치는 마케팅 전략을 분석하고자 한다. 본 연구를 위해 국내의 다양한 도서관 유형을 대상으로 설문조사가 이루어졌으며, 설문조사의 결과를 바탕으로 도서관 관리자 및 실무자들에게 도서관 성과를 높일 수 있는 마케팅전략에 관한 가이드라인을 제시하였다.
Abstract
As interior and exterior environments change rapidly with the modern IT technology, the strategies related to marketing activities which enhance the library competition have been demanded. Although many previous studies have been conducted to improve the satisfaction of the library users and to increase the use rate, only few studies focused on the marketing strategy to elevate the library performance. With suggestion of a systematic framework related to the strategies, this study aims to analyze not only the interior and exterior factors which impact on the library marketing strategies, but the strategies which may influence on its performance. To achieve this objective, we adopted a comprehensive survey targeting the various types of our domestic libraries. On the basis of the results, we proposed a guideline for the strategy operation for the librarians to enhance the library performance.

학술 커뮤니티 내에서 논문의 인용은 보편적인 규범으로 자리 잡은 데 비해 데이터의 인용은 아직 초보적인 단계에 머물러 있다. 이를 개선하기 위해 제기되고 있는 데이터 인용의 필요성 및 원칙과 가이드라인에 대해서 살펴보았다. 또한 데이터 인용체계 구축 사례에서는 데이터 인용 요소들을 정의하고 서비스를 제공하는 DataCite, Dataverse Network, Data Citation Index 사례를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 한국종합사회조사 데이터 인용 분석을 통해 국내 데이터세트 인용/이용 정보 제공 실태를 조사하였다.
Abstract
Data citation remains in its infancy, although providing the citation to a journal article is a typical norm in an academic community. This study examines the need for data citation, its principles and guidelines for improving the issue. In addition, the study investigates cases that established data citation mechanism, including DataCite, Dataverse Network and Data Citation Index that define elements of data citation and provide relevant services. At the end, it explores the current state of data citation in Korea through the analysis of citations to dataset from Korean General Social Survey.

본 연구는 대학도서관에서 전자저널을 효과적으로 관리하고 서비스하기 위한 방안을 모색하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위하여, 문헌조사 및 사례조사를 바탕으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 선행연구 분석에서는 전자저널과 관련된 다양한 이슈를 중심으로 이론적 배경을 조사하였으며, 사례조사로서 국내외 6개 대학도서관의 웹사이트를 접근, 목록, 이용자서비스 측면에서 분석하였다. 그리고 대학도서관에서 전자저널을 담당하고 있는 사서들을 대상으로 전자저널의 선정 및 구독 현황을 비롯하여 크게 8개 항목으로 47개의 문항으로 구성된 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 대학도서관에서 전자저널의 효과적 관리 및 서비스를 제공하기 위한 8가지 가이드라인을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to provide suggestions for the effective management and user services of electronic journals in university libraries. In order to do that literature reviews, case studies, and survey questionnaires were conducted. The case studies involved six university libraries, which were analyzed based on accessing, cataloging and user services. Questionnaires consisting of forty-seven items in eight parts, including selection and subscription of electronic journals were distributed to the libratians who were in charge of managing electronic journals. Following an analysis on the survey, guidelines for effective management and user services of electronic journals were suggested.

Abstract

이 논문은 서비스 품질 관점에서 도서관 모바일 서비스를 위한 평가 모형을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 기존에 연구된 도서관의 서비스 품질 평가 모형과 모바일 서비스 평가 연구에 대한 문헌 분석을 실시하였으며, 이를 토대로 도서관 모바일 서비스 품질 평가에 필요한 4개 품질 차원, 10개 품질 요인, 39개 품질 측정 항목으로 구성된 평가 모형을 개발하였다. 그리고 개발된 모형의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 델파이 기법을 적용하였으며, 최종적으로 4개 품질 차원, 9개 품질 요인, 37개 품질 측정 항목으로 구성된 모형을 도출하였다. 이 연구에서 제안하고 있는 평가 모형은 도서관의 모바일 서비스 품질 진단 도구로 사용될 수 있으며, 또한 도서관 모바일 서비스의 개선을 위한 가이드라인으로도 활용될 수 있다.
Abstract
This paper aims to develop an evaluation model for library mobile services in terms of service quality. First, a literature review of the service quality evaluation model and the mobile library service evaluation was conducted. Then, based on the analysis, the evaluation model consisting of 4 quality dimensions, 10 quality factors, 39 quality measurement items was developed. Delphi method was applied to verify the validity of the model. Finally, a final model consisting of 4 quality dimensions, 9 quality factors, and 37 quality measurement items was derived. The evaluation model proposed in this study can be used as a measure of library mobile service quality and can be used as a guideline for improvement of library mobile service.

본 연구에서는 공공도서관 단위로 드러나는 이용자의 정보요구 특성을 파악하기 위해, 서울시 8개 자치구 11개 공공도서관을 대상으로 각 도서관에서 대출 이용된 도서가 지니는 다양한 속성 정보에 기반하여 이용자 요구를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 도서관별로 이용자의 정보요구의 특성이 드러나고 있었으며, 이용대상, 이용목적/동기, 관심사/취향, 도서 장르, 주제와 연관된 두드러진 도서 이용양상을 파악할 수 있었다. 또한, 도서관별 저자에 대한 선호도도 존재하고 있었으며, 선호하는 저자의 역할에서의 차이도 드러났다. 본 연구의 결과는 이용자 요구에 기반한 차별화된 장서 개발과 서비스 프로그램 개발을 위한 가이드라인을 제공하는 데 도움이 될 것이다.
Abstract
In this study, in order to understand the characteristics of the users’ information needs for each public library unit, the user needs were analyzed based on the various attribute information of the books loaned to 11 public libraries in 8 districts in Seoul. As a result, the prominent book use patterns of the libraries were revealed, specifically related to the target user groups, purpose/motivation, interests/preferences, book genre, and subject. In addition, there was a preference for authors, and a difference in the role of the preferred authors in each library was also revealed. The results of this study will help to provide guidelines for the development of differentiated collections and service programs based on user needs.

본 연구는 정보활용능력의 여러 영역 중에서 대학생이 과제를 해결하는 상황에서 정보의 적합성을 판단하고 평가해나가는 과정을 심층적으로 분석하고, 중요 문제를 규명함으로써 정보활용교육에 반영할 개선사항을 도출하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 대학생 9명을 대상으로 과제해결과정에서 적합성 판단이 어떻게 이루어지는 지에 대해 심층면담을 통해 분석하였으며, 그 결과 연구참여자의 의견과 부합되는 내용 정보 판단의 어려움, 신문기사의 신뢰성에 대한 판단의 어려움, 과제의 특성상 적합성 판단 시간 확보의 어려움, 적합한 정보원 판단과 과제평가결과 연관의 어려움이 주요 문제로서 분석되었다. 따라서 권장사항으로서 객관적인 적합성 판단기준의 교육, 신뢰성 있는 정보원 안내, 교수자의 참고 정보원 활용 가이드라인 제시, Big 6 4.1단계 교육의 강조 등이 제시되었다.
Abstract
The purposes of this study are to analyze relevance judgement of college students’ problem solving process and suggest improvements for information literacy education in higher education. The in-depth interviews were conducted with 9 subjects to identify relevance judgement processes and problems. As a result, the main problems during relevance judgement processes were judgement about content of document aligned with subject’s opinion, judgement about reliability of newspaper articles, shortage of relevance judgement time due to deadline of an assignment and judgement of relationship of documents and evaluation result. The recommendations for information literacy education are as follows: objective relevance judgement education, guidance of reliable information source, showing guideline of using reference information by professor and emphasis of engaging in information (4.1 stage of Big 6).

공공연구 성과물(출판물 및 데이터)을 디지털 포맷으로 공개하여 이들 자료에 대한 접근성을 높이고자 하는 오픈 사이언스 프로젝트가 국외에서 활발히 진행되고 있다. 해외에서는 오픈 사이언스의 주요 특징인 공개 연구, 오픈 액세스, 연구데이터 공유, 공개적인 동료 평가, 투명한 연구 성과 평가에 맞추어 연구자 중심의 다양한 연구지원 서비스가 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구는 오픈 사이언스 시대를 대비하여 해외의 과학기술정보 서비스에 대해 심층 분석하고 국내 활용현황을 조사하였다. 국외의 적극적인 오픈 사이언스 대응현황에 비해 국내에서는 오픈 액세스나 기관 리포지터리 정도만 준비가 되어 있고, 연구데이터 관리나 협력 연구에 대해서는 아직까지 준비가 미비한 상태로 분석되었다. 따라서 국내 정보서비스 기관에서도 오픈 사이언스 시대를 대비하여 해외 우수 사례들을 충분히 고찰하여 이를 효과적으로 실행할 수 있는 연구지원 서비스 정책과 가이드라인 마련이 시급한 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
Open science projects are being actively carried out globally. Publishing the results of public research (publications and data) in digital format and enhancing access to these materials are getting more important. Various research support tools are being used to support open research, open access, open data, open peer review and open research performance evaluation. We analyzed research support services to prepare open science movement in Korea. Korea is not ready for research data management and research collaboration except open access and institutional repositories. It can be seen as an urgent matter to analyze these international open science research support services carefully and reflect them in research support policy and service guideline.
